This is just for some fun. This is a movie trailer made by an independent film maker a few years ago. Similar to our movie it is barebones and uses a variety of cheesy effects and nothing computer generated. As well for you comic book fans enjoy all the classic superheroes.

WOW First of all I have to say the music is amazing and wonderful. This trailer looks like the re-birth of the greastest known heros. Green Lantern, Batwoman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Cat Woman, Joker, Penguin, and Superman. This trailer looks really cool. Batman is dead so Robin wants to avenge his death. Wow the music is so nice.
ReplyDeleteThe stunts are done very good and the acting of Joker is also cool. This trailers music is amazing. This movie in mostly about Robin, Batman's partner in crime. When did this movie come out, it's something that people would want to watch. This movie uses mostly acting and emotions, barely any (After Effect) or (Special Effects). Thats what makes it really good. They use emotions and acting, not computerized things. They only use the Effects for some scenes.
ReplyDeleteThis movie looks like an Action and Mystery movie. Really good. If we could pull off this type of acting in our movie then it would be a hit. This movie is like 2 hours, ours is about 10-15 minutes. So ours will be easier. The problem we will face will be the laughing and the time we have to shoot each scene.
ReplyDeleteOh I just typed this movie (Grayson) on Google and it said this is a 2004 Fan Made Film made featuring several DC Universe characters. The film is a mock trailer, however no such movie exists. Currently, there are also no plans for a full-length feature film, because the filmmakers have no possibility to produce such a film without the support of Warner Bros. With a budget of $18,000, the filmmakers created a five and a half minute trailer complete with motorcycle chases, underwater escapes, pyrotechnics and feats of strength.
ReplyDeleteSo there isn't such a movie, it was just a trailer they made for fun. I think if they made this short film into a real movie it would be a hit with comic fans and even just the public. If they made this 5 and a half minute trailer for fun and turned out to be really good, then I think if they worked with Professional Directors and Producers then it would turn out really amazing.

ReplyDeleteBatman is shown apparently dead and the identity of his killer is presumably the central mystery of the film. Dick Grayson emerges from retirement to investigate. Sounds like a great idea for a film.
ReplyDeleteI think the reason they do not want to make this into a movie is because their going outside the story in the comic books. Batman never dies in the comic books, so they didn't want to change the story of Batman. After I thought about this I agree with the people who said they didn't want to make this into a movie.
I also like how the narration was placed in the dramatic scenes. It brings out the expressions and emotions of the character. With how the narration sounds, the actor has to look like he/she is thinking about what the narrator is saying. Its kind of hard to explain it. But I think thats what Zak has to do in our movie. Also the actor plays an important role in the narration.

ReplyDeleteBecides that The trailer looked, very professional,even though the people, who did the trailer, were not profesionals. The Idea is good, though, i liked how all the super heros, teamed up to defeat the villans, that batman usually fights. you could see though that in some areas the parts were not made by the best of the best, like for instance, the bat mobile, and the guy who played, super man, wasent your average hollywood, production, but for amateurs it was pretty cool.

ReplyDelete@Janat I agree with prayas even if its short it still took then along time to put together.And if they did make the movie parts of the trailer would have been in the movie.Even if it was long it got the viwers attention which makes for a good movie.
@Janat true...it could be any of his enimes because as a superhero you got lots of emimies.I wonder who it is? But that what makes the movie so interesting because in all the cartoons when hes clost to his death he somehow escapes or else the cartoon would be to short.Normaly in a batman movie batman would save the day but in this movie hes the one who ends up dead.

@Mr Cheney do you know how old robin was in Batman's prime he seems young too because if Batman died shouldn't Robin be somewhat old too he seems to be in his prime in the movie.
ReplyDeleteI didnt think this was without special effects very well done movie. This movie is so different because the movie looks as if there are a number of special effects done in it but theres not one which makes it more unique.
ReplyDelete$18 000 is a lot for a 5 minute film trailer. But for there to be no computer effects and it's just amatuers then it's pretty good. And the trailer shows the best, most action parts if there was a movie.

ReplyDeleteI'm kind of confused. Maybe because I don't know a lot about comic books but the characters are confusing and the trailer too. I just know that it would probably be a good film because it's a cool twist to the story.

ReplyDeleteI think this trailer was pretty good. Even though it did have some cheesy parts in it, it looked decent. I'm hoping that our movie would obviously beat this trailer. It takes time and effort to make it really good.

ReplyDelete@Mr Cheney how does the effects in the movie compare to what we are capable of doing is their anything in their that we can do with the materials we have at our disposal.
The trailer is actually kinda cool, the way they put it together, they way they were into their roles, this could conflict us and influence us for our upcoming black history month movie i presume. The actors kinda looked to old for their age, but all together the background story and the main idea is kinda confusing but i get it.

ReplyDeleteWow , this is a pretty long movie trailer .. but it seems like a pretty good movie , it was a good idea to combine all the superheros and villains together , the type of music they used in it was a good choice , but some of their special effects could improve. A question I had was if this movie is real , cause google said it doesn't exist.

ReplyDelete@ President, Dick Grayson the original Robin was a young boy when Batman took him under his wing so there is a considerable age difference.
ReplyDelete@President, the big issue will be the camera and sound, most of the trailers money was put towards camera and sound gear. I may try and get a new camera that shoots in HD and has an input for a sound mic that we could dangle over the actors during dialogue

ReplyDelete@Niida, yeah the trailer was approx. 5 minutes, usually people are looking for less trailers about 2-3 minutes because if its 5 minutes they will get bored, but this one was very fascinating, it was needed to be 5 minutes to explain the story and what the problem is.

@EL Presidente, i agree no body has done the planning for costume, but Cheney has some costumes in the back room, maybe we can do something with that and make it look like costumes for the black history, month and some people if they have it at home, please help us and brining so we can start filming and practicing the roles ASAP.

ReplyDelete@ El presidente robin was a child when batman was about 30-32 robin was only 13-15 years old and know he is about 30-32 and batman would be 45-47 so yeah. hes not that old and plus batman was murdered.

ReplyDeleteYes, the type of music they used in it was a good choice. It emphasizes the scene in the movie, making it clear on whats going on at the moment. Example, fast intense music means fast & intense scene.
@Talwinder , since the movie trailer is 5 minutes long , people may get bored watching .. i sure did, but the music always brought your attention back to the trailer , you could tell what the problem would be before watching the trailer , i mean superheros and villains , its pretty obvious. Do you think the trailer should have been shorter ?
ReplyDeleteMr cheney i agree the auction scene is the easiest to shoot from all the scenes. We only need the costumes and the setting for that seen.

ReplyDelete@Niida, well the trailer could have been minimized and deleted all the unnecessary parts to make it storer and make it more real and more special effects to bring the audience in some attention instead of making them bored and not interested in it at all.
ReplyDeleteI like the voice over from the man in the beginning parts of the movie is their a way to make a voice as deep and chilling like that with software or do we have to try our best to get that sound.

ReplyDeleteThe Mac has the software for simple trailers, we could make a trailer for each book we have read (Rebound, Cheat, a spy thriller) if we have the time this would make for an amazing viewing experience.
@Talwinder I think the trailer was that long because they didn't have enough budget to make the actual movie so they put all their energies into making that trailer the best it could be.

Yeah theres a couple instrumental songs I have heard that could fit our movie.

ReplyDeleteyes i agree that the movie was done very well it actually didn't look like they didn't use the special affects because the first time saw the movie i thought they couldn't have done it without using a computer you know the special affects. But i was wrong over all it was done every well and i think this is going to be a good idea for doing and recording our movie.
ReplyDeleteThe costume designs are done long time that was the easy part but the materials is the problem. We are kinda empty handed on it, so there is almost nothing since we haven't got a lot of materials brought in.

ReplyDeletewoww, I was watching how they made the movie, and over all they did it very smart. they used regular, ordinary places to shoot the movie, and they made it look well like a hollywood blockbuster, i liked how the guy painted, his living room for the movie to shoot that scene where the man is looking out the window and smoking., and how they put that small bookshelf on a trolly, to make it look like the camera was zooming in. So much work for like 10 seconds of film, it takes a lot of work

ReplyDeleteI agree with Heli the sound effects make the scenes stand out because the viewers are engaged with the catchy music which forces viewers to take a look at the trailer and think this movie may be really good just by watching the best clips of the movie and hearing energetic music.
