Smart idea. children dont usually watch news a lot as much as adults but hearing that theres news for children they just might and this will help understand politics, economy, the cities and countries around the world and what they are are going through and teach them how to take care and stay alert in our surroundings (e.g. robber, murderer, kidnapper, global warming) and how we can help those countries in their period of need such as the disaster that happened in Japan and the protests going on in Libiya Egypt.
Wow, this is an awesome site for the kids that don't even barely pay attention to the news, they could get interactive with the online news they have provided them so they can see what is happening in the daily basis, and in our environment, and see what type of people there are, what kind of local crimes are happening etc. It kind of seems like technology isn't just getting bigger, its getting bigger for the little ones to, too see and explore the new world they live in. Very interesting.
@arvindersabharwal, looking at the background knowledge of most of the kids, and i was certainly one of them, i didn't usually pay attention to the news as much, and didn't care what was going on is the world when i was a kid, so i think the other kids may have different opinion but most of them may not pay much attention to what kind of environment they live in and whats happening to the world that can effect them in the future like possibility of higher rates of crimes and deaths and defiantly the global warming issue, that never goes away.
This site for kids news, can defiantly influence them because one of the articles were about this kid who was under aged and achieved alot in his life and was very smart, and maybe other kids might think of that as a challenge and go beyond that and try their best to achieve goals in the future.
I think this is an great ides, making an site for kids about news because not many kids really pay a lot of attention to news or care about it.
@Talwinder i agree, it will put an great amount of influence on kids because kids are the ones writing the articles and understanding what is going on in our world.But i think it should be more colorful because it looks like another news site

The News Website sounds like something good for just some information.It's great that people made the news in a format that children would understand it.The Toronto Star's article is always rambling on about quotes and actions but it takes some time to understand what is actually happening and what the article is talking about.On this website,it's more conspicuous,it's more to the point.

With this website it is the same as the regular news except that it is explained more for kids to understand what is happening, like with the some of the words like politician it will explain it more so that kids can understand what it is before continuing. It's great and all so that kids can understand what is happening in the world so that they can understand it easier, also they put up things for kids to enjoy like a article about a tv show as an example.
This site will help kids know what is going on in the world and since kids are writing it, I think other kids will have more of a connection to it. That is great because regular news can get kind of boring but if kids have more of a connection to it, they will be more likely to read it and then they will learn more.
@Mentally, I agree, this website is very to the point mainly because its for kids and as all of us know kids dont all like to read really long articles everyday even if they read 500 page books.
yes i agree that not a lot of people care about the news but they pay more attention on things they are not suppose to and i am not saying that they should not but what i am trying to say is that one's you get something don't always try to pay attention on that but at the same time it important to now what is going on around the world. and this why i think that this is a great way to teach the kids.
It seems like a good site with interesting topics but I don't think that kids really visit the site because up to this point I haven't heard of the site. But aside from that the articles talk about kids shows, and sports even recent stuff like the leafs playoff push :( but sadly I see no Celtic articles.
@Amrit I think kids read such long books because they like them but with articles they may not be as interested and sometimes they just go on and on. So yeah this site is really informative and kid-friendly.
This website is really good for kids to know whats the latest thing thats going on. This gives students ideas, personal connections, and to see the latest trend in shows. This website is really amazing, fun, and interesting. yes si agree sometime when you are watching the news with your parents some of the news don't catch your attention and you think it is boring but there are some news that really catch you attention. i also watch news with my dad in my language but it is not that boring except when they are talking about the president changing things in india but sometimes that also catches my attention.
This site is a great idea to help the kids who don't really watch the news or read the newspaper it gets the kids involved more because really it's the adults that really read the news. This will get the kids caught up the news that they don’t know about. And I agree with Alyssa they will have more of connection because they are ones writing, and they would have similar thoughts.
elpresidente is right I haven't heard of this website until today the reason might be because that it isn't really popular since a lot of the websites we have heard of like youtube gained a lot of publicity from the amount of people that visit the website everyday. It's ether that it doesn't have a lot of publicity or that people don't like the website that much and not mention the website.
One of the best things is that kids will learn about whats happening around the world and what they can do about it, how they can protect themselves, politics, history, sometimes math, problem solving, geography, science, the arts, basically the news will help you learn some thing in every subject there is and in a funner way than watching and reading usual news.
yes i agree with alyssa that sometimes kids might read books that are like 500 pages long but they read those because they are really intresting and it also deepens if they like reading books or not and it's not all the kids hate reading articles ar watching news but yes most of them do hate reading news and watching news including me sometimes i like reading books but not articles, sometimes i like it.

I do get bored of the news pretty quickly since it is boring, because of the fact that nothing catches my attention like someone mentioned earlier. So this website is pretty good for kids
the site i guess is a good way for kids to know what is happening in the world and to get info on what because when children read the Toronto star, it would seem confusing because of the advanced vocabulary but when they read the child news, they're able to understand
A news site for kids ? Definitely a great idea. It's an incredible way for kids to stay up to date with news , and most of the articles in it are ones that would catch children's idea. Having different columns is awesome too , for example ; the sports column , its a great way for kids to catch up on the leafs game. Also , they could practically access the website from basically everywhere , therefore it would be easy and something interesting for kids to read when their bored or on the go.
@Talwinder , I agree .. when I was a child I didn't pay much attention to the news , I didn't really worry about what was going on in the world either , just like you said. So having a site where kids can interact with the world and actually know what's going on , instead of when most of us didn't pay attention to the news.

Although I've never heard of the site (that might be because I haven't watched the show) but I think that it makes a great site for kids who want to learn about current events but not have to listen to the boring-ness of actual news.
@Hitakshee , Thats true , having the site organized would make people enjoy looking through it , and also if they find a article they like , it would be easy to send it to someone else , and if the other person likes the website then they would be visiting it often as well.
@Nida even though kids are lazy; there is also a lot of time spent on the computer. I mean, we're blogging right now so we're on the computer (but we're not being lazy because this is like homework). So yeah kids are lazy and watch tv but while they're on the computer they could check out this site and learn things.
@Alyssa , Agreed , I wouldn't visit the site either if it was all cluttered up , everybody likes it if their work would be more simple and the site being organized is easy to access and easy to look through instead of you searching different files for you to get a specific article.
@Alyssa , many kids do go on the computer , but I am guessing majority of them would go on the computer to play games , listen to music , talk to their friends , or do homework .. like I said before , many kids would visit the site if their bored , but I think more kids would like to have a news channel instead of a website because a news channel is continuous , where as siblings or parents could make you get off the computer when you're reading a very interesting article.
@Nida I agree if everything was cluttered in a newspaper (virtual or not) it wouldn't be fun to read. You would probably get confused and bored quicker. I know I probably wouldn't read if it was cluttered and messy.

I don't know about you, but if I had to do anything while on the computer because I was bored, I wouldn't want to go to an official news site. I'd probably go on a site like this one if there was something I wanted to read on it.

The site talks about stuff that kids would want to know , instead of kids being interested about some of the things adults like to watch the news about.
@Nida that's true newspapers can be a bit cluttered. The writing is fine and organized but there is SO much paper. It's like all folded and there's a million pages but with the internet; it's cleaner and you can access all the pages or articles quicker and easier. Plus, it saves trees which is great.
@Alyssa , I'm not saying that they wouldn't look at the site because it's not an official news site , I am saying that people would still visit the site and look through it , but I am guessing that kids would want a news channel too instead of just a website. I would probably go on this site too , just to see whats happening with the world , but I would most likely go on the website if a friend send me a link about an article or if I am bored or if I wanna learn something that isn't on the news channels but on the website.
@Alyssa , Agreed , There is many papers that come with the newspapers , and the worst part about it .. is if one of the pages get lost and that page was an article you want to read. The last part you said is very true also , we save trees , and that makes me think about how the world is using more technology everyday. Think about a newspaper that comes by email instead of paper instead.
@Janet, yeah i think they should make the website a little bit better with the overall colors so the kids can be more interested as well they should make the news more environmental with the friends instead of grown up stuff, even tho they should know what is happening in the daily basis.
@Niida and Alyssa, either way it is using alot of energy to make both the newspaper and making an online website for kids, using a lot of electricity to have the time to make the online website, but paper is wasting a lot of useful and wise paper that can be used for more important stuff, but i'd rather choose an online website because it doesn't leave a mess behind, and if they don't want to see the online website they can just exit, but if they don't want to see the newspaper, they are wasting money, time, and paper that comes from tree, and we are running out of tree's.

@Alyssa, i agree with you on where you can lose a paper you are looking forward easily but when you look on the website, you can easily find it and never lose it, good connection and smart.
I think kids will also think its a great idea of having an online website because its cool to play around on the computer and reading about the other kids achieving stuff so they can take it as a challenge and try to achieve their goals and try to make them selves feel good and make them selves feel better and try to get on the newspaper to, something like taking it as a fun achievement.
@Talwinder , I think it would be better to use the internet instead of paper , because trees are essential , and wasting it would not be wise. I would choose an online newspaper too , because not only is it environmentally friendly , but it is also easy to access and very good way to read a newspaper.
Its a very unique idea of how they made an online website, kids think that the news is boring watching political stuff, and the boring old news, but having their own fun website can make them interactive in their social age life group and see what kids their age are doing and what they can do to make themselves just like them.
@Talwinder yeah computers use energy but it's a better choice in the end. I think electronics (laptops, iPads etc) will change things pretty drastically. I mean, in the future, there might not be paper newspapers because we could get it online. It might not happen but with all these gadgets it might easily happen.
@Talwinder , I agree .. you can interact with people instead of you just sitting in front of a t.v screen , and also you could send the link to your friends and they could read the article as well , so theres something friends could talk to each other about , where as watching news on the t.v you would need to check if your friends watched it or not , and if they didn't , then it is one topic you are missing out on talking about.
I thinks its an awesome idea to have a site for kids to get information because some sites are higher level like the toronto star so a site made for kids is a really good idea it lets us keep up with things happening aroung the world while still keeping us interested.
@Jedi master of the force and peace I agree the inhanced vocabulary make it hard for us to understand some parts of articals in the toronto star but with a site made for onlt kids they make sure we can understand it.
@Niida, but if people don't want to read the newspaper and as soon as they receive it at the front of their doors and they just throw it away its a waste, but they can reuse it, but that took a lot of energy for that to cycle. And yes defiantly the online newspaper is very smart and it keeps the young ones interactive for their ages and not only the grown ups that have to look and listen to the news.

@Alyssa, i agree the electronic world moves really fast and they change really fast and they grow very unique and very smart idea for new things to come out, but most of them are pretty much the same thing but just like a thing or two added so they can guy it. E.g iPod generation 3 doesn't have camera and generation 4.
@Talwinder , the first part of your response is what a person decides to do , if they don't need the newspaper but they still get it and they recycle it after , they should take the action for them to call the newspaper people and tell them they don't want to receive newspapers anymore because they could access the same article online , and that is also a very good way to say money and save more paper.
@Niida, yeah when i was little i used to be bored with my parents hogging the TV and watching the news all day, and if the online website was made when i was little it would have been very genius that is what i mean, technology is moving really fast and growing to be used alot and good.
@Nida yes I did which is why I'm confused on your statement. And yeah newspapers are good for a while when there wasn't really other ways to learn about current events. But now there are and most newspapers I see are in the recycling. It's like all that paper wasted. It's recycling but it takes a lot of energy to turn it into something else whereas with electronics you can't waste paper or lose paper and it's always there wherever you go. It will not change unlike newspapers where here you get the Toronto star but if you went to New York or something you would find a different newspaper with different information.

@Stephanie , I agree with your statement .. some of the articles are more higher level that adults would like to read , but this site is for kids .. so they wouldn't need to go to different websites to check for what their reading level would be because the website is made for kid level reading.

@Talwinder but even with the new features with newer generations; they can still do things like go on the Internet so you can still read the paper on any generation of gadget.
@ talwinder i agree with you,that it's better to use the online website then have newspaper and read it once and then throw it in the recycling. they both use alot of electricity to make, but won't the newspaper take more because it has to get the paper, the printing and delivering to different places, which i think takes more energy and money then the online website. also, some people don't have internet or computer...so i am with and against this thought.

@Nida yeah the font is a bit small and it's, well, boring. It's all grey with small font and confusing. An article will end and then it will tell you to go to another page to read the rest of it but I can never find the other page! On the Internet it's all one article and it's more convenient. Maybe someday newspapers will become a thing of the past and there'll be some historic newspaper museum. Lol.
@Heli I agree i never though about it like that... but it helps saves trees because it does not cost to print it because you can get it online.But soem people dont have internet just like you said so either way it effects someone and/or the earth.

Yes this is a very good idea, because noe adays if you ask a student about something like about video games, of Justin Bieber, you are speaking their language, but if you ask them something, like what do you think about like how the US cant afford to keep fighting in Libya, they will look at you in a funny way. Its important to keep you informed about that is happening around you, because it keeps you caught up, and informed. A lot of school work is usually, based on some important news that ether happened in the past and/or present, so is is important to have some background knowledge for that work.
@ stephanie, ya that is true, sites like the toronto star and CNN, are really more higher class news, and some news might bore the students because it is uninteresting, of they are talking about something that they are still too young to understand.

@Heli that's true some people are unwilling to change or are traditionalists and want to keep everything the same. But it's the 21st century; things are going to have to and will change.
@Stephanie some people don't have the time to go on the Internet; that's true. But I think that a bigger issue would be not having access to the Internet. Like if you don't have a computer or if a sibling hogs it all the time.
@ stephaine wouldn't that be a waste of paper sending a letter to every house, and yes it's possible to do so and only have people who want the newspaper to have them.it could be like have a separate company do that like of stuff, i have seen many people get separate newspaper.
@Heli yeah a letter to every house would be just as bad as the newspaper because half the people would throw it out. Also, a letter is just not a good idea because how are you going to send it back to tell them you want a newspaper or not? I think if this was going to happen, an email would be more practical.
@ alyssa things and that way things are done are going to change,but slow, not so fast just like the plastic bags to reusable bags took time.it changes and we don't really notice it that much and it keeps on changing.
@Heli it's slow because some people don't want change and it takes a lot of convincing for them too. But I think that if everyone just accepted change; things would change a lot faster. But everyone accepting change will never happen because there will always be rebels.
@Heli we can change. It just takes time and acceptance. Like in the 60's and stuff, Canada had dollar bills but then we changed to coins. People didn't want them but we eventually accepted them. So if paper newspapers were ever to fade out of existence, than people would eventually accept the change.
@Niida, i hated it when my parents used to hog the tv, like i was a kid i want to have some fun and watch some cartoon, past some times, laugh, but no they would always watch the boring old news and on top of that they would always talk about it afterwards, and even the radio was the news.
@Heli, yeah having an online website takes energy but less energy than making a newspaper, that can be wasted if the reader doesn't read the newspaper and they took a lot of hard effort to making it and delivering it, and when you throw it away then it will be re-used.

Yes, the online newspaper is a great sense for children to keep in touch and interact with other kids and see what they are doing and what themselves can do to keep up with them and get some advice and try to get on the paper themselves with something good that they have accomplished.
I would rather choose the online website because the technology for kids if going to he huge as they get older and living through the great need items that are coming out and they take it as a granted for getting it.
@Stephanie, yeah it will make a kids chance to finally be put on the children paper, and try to make then the next big thing by trying and trying to accomplish something, and they will have that memory for life, being on the paper and every other kid trying to take its spot.

@Janat:p I got 2 computers and only 1 sibling and even if we do have 2 computers it does not always work out.Its true you can have 3 computers but it still depends on the time and when peiople want to ues it.So some people have the advantage and some don't.
An online newspaper would be better then a regular newspaper we have now a days because it doesn't waste paper and it is easy to access , although an online newspaper may have disadvantages , it also has many advantages , and even though technology is getting better each and every day .. we could use that technology to reduce global warming and make our environment safer.

@Stephanie , I agree .. using the internet is better then printing newspapers because it had loads of advantages , for example ; it is easy to access and you could access it from about anywhere .. printing newspapers is a waste of paper and energy because you would need to recycle the newspaper afterwards and to recycle it uses a lot of energy , which causes a lot of pollution. So to summarize the post ; Online Newspaper = Good Idea , Printed Newspaper = Bad for environment.
@Vanessa , I think it would still be a problem for the elderly , because the font on the newspapers are extremely tiny and it would be hard for them to read. And I am pretty sure the elderly would prefer to watch t.v instead of read the paper , but it is just an opinion.

@Vanessa , it would depend on the type of person they are right ? Kids would enjoy the website and teens would rather be into gossip , but it would be their choice on what they would want to do.
@Nida I would prefer an online newspaper because like I mentioned it's so confusing with all the paper and articles on two pages and stuff.
@Vanessa even though recycling is good, it still takes a lot of energy to turn it into something else. So I think something electronic is better because theres no waste there.
If everything goes online were what would the worlds many parakeets or cats have for litter lol. But seriously many people enjoy reading actual newspapers and i'm one of them so I don't think newspapers the actual font should be eradicated totally.
@Vanessa yes they could but that takes a lot of energy and creates more pollution than most people think. Garbage creates pollution but turning something you recycled into a new product also creates pollution.
@El Presidente well it's just an idea. I know some people like reading actual newspapers but for less traditional people; the idea of newspapers being on the computer is not crazy. I remember once when I was at the Apple store and I could check out the newspaper articles from a newspaper on an iPad so the idea is around just not totally accepted by the public or in affect yet.
@Alyssa, i agree iuts just an idea and not eveyone is happy with it totally and some people would rather read then actually go on a website.I think the online newspaper is an better idea because you can easily go on the site but not everyone has an computer
I think this is a good idea, because it is easy to access pluss kids will be caght up on todays problems. But it does have some disadvantages, like how kids will could be spending more time on the computer instead of getting outside.
@Bailee well you could have a balance between computer time and outside time. Also do you think it's any better to be sitting reading a paper or sitting reading it on the computer? You're sitting either way.
Smart idea. children dont usually watch news a lot as much as adults but hearing that theres news for children they just might and this will help understand politics, economy, the cities and countries around the world and what they are are going through and teach them how to take care and stay alert in our surroundings (e.g. robber, murderer, kidnapper, global warming) and how we can help those countries in their period of need such as the disaster that happened in Japan and the protests going on in Libiya Egypt.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is an awesome site for the kids that don't even barely pay attention to the news, they could get interactive with the online news they have provided them so they can see what is happening in the daily basis, and in our environment, and see what type of people there are, what kind of local crimes are happening etc. It kind of seems like technology isn't just getting bigger, its getting bigger for the little ones to, too see and explore the new world they live in. Very interesting.
ReplyDelete@arvindersabharwal, looking at the background knowledge of most of the kids, and i was certainly one of them, i didn't usually pay attention to the news as much, and didn't care what was going on is the world when i was a kid, so i think the other kids may have different opinion but most of them may not pay much attention to what kind of environment they live in and whats happening to the world that can effect them in the future like possibility of higher rates of crimes and deaths and defiantly the global warming issue, that never goes away.

ReplyDeleteThe News Website sounds like something good for just some information.It's great that people made the news in a format that children would understand it.The Toronto Star's article is always rambling on about quotes and actions but it takes some time to understand what is actually happening and what the article is talking about.On this website,it's more conspicuous,it's more to the point.

It's great and all so that kids can understand what is happening in the world so that they can understand it easier, also they put up things for kids to enjoy like a article about a tv show as an example.

ReplyDeleteA news site for kids ? Definitely a great idea. It's an incredible way for kids to stay up to date with news , and most of the articles in it are ones that would catch children's idea. Having different columns is awesome too , for example ; the sports column , its a great way for kids to catch up on the leafs game. Also , they could practically access the website from basically everywhere , therefore it would be easy and something interesting for kids to read when their bored or on the go.

It's like all folded and there's a million pages but with the internet; it's cleaner and you can access all the pages or articles quicker and easier. Plus, it saves trees which is great.

@Niida, but if people don't want to read the newspaper and as soon as they receive it at the front of their doors and they just throw it away its a waste, but they can reuse it, but that took a lot of energy for that to cycle. And yes defiantly the online newspaper is very smart and it keeps the young ones interactive for their ages and not only the grown ups that have to look and listen to the news.

@Alyssa, i agree the electronic world moves really fast and they change really fast and they grow very unique and very smart idea for new things to come out, but most of them are pretty much the same thing but just like a thing or two added so they can guy it. E.g iPod generation 3 doesn't have camera and generation 4.
ReplyDelete@Talwinder , the first part of your response is what a person decides to do , if they don't need the newspaper but they still get it and they recycle it after , they should take the action for them to call the newspaper people and tell them they don't want to receive newspapers anymore because they could access the same article online , and that is also a very good way to say money and save more paper.

But now there are and most newspapers I see are in the recycling. It's like all that paper wasted. It's recycling but it takes a lot of energy to turn it into something else whereas with electronics you can't waste paper or lose paper and it's always there wherever you go. It will not change unlike newspapers where here you get the Toronto star but if you went to New York or something you would find a different newspaper with different information.

ReplyDelete@Nida yeah the font is a bit small and it's, well, boring. It's all grey with small font and confusing. An article will end and then it will tell you to go to another page to read the rest of it but I can never find the other page! On the Internet it's all one article and it's more convenient. Maybe someday newspapers will become a thing of the past and there'll be some historic newspaper museum. Lol.

Yes this is a very good idea, because noe adays if you ask a student about something like about video games, of Justin Bieber, you are speaking their language, but if you ask them something, like what do you think about like how the US cant afford to keep fighting in Libya, they will look at you in a funny way. Its important to keep you informed about that is happening around you, because it keeps you caught up, and informed. A lot of school work is usually, based on some important news that ether happened in the past and/or present, so is is important to have some background knowledge for that work.

@Heli it's slow because some people don't want change and it takes a lot of convincing for them too. But I think that if everyone just accepted change; things would change a lot faster. But everyone accepting change will never happen because there will always be rebels.

@Heli we can change. It just takes time and acceptance. Like in the 60's and stuff, Canada had dollar bills but then we changed to coins. People didn't want them but we eventually accepted them. So if paper newspapers were ever to fade out of existence, than people would eventually accept the change.

ReplyDelete@Niida, i hated it when my parents used to hog the tv, like i was a kid i want to have some fun and watch some cartoon, past some times, laugh, but no they would always watch the boring old news and on top of that they would always talk about it afterwards, and even the radio was the news.
ReplyDelete@Heli, yeah having an online website takes energy but less energy than making a newspaper, that can be wasted if the reader doesn't read the newspaper and they took a lot of hard effort to making it and delivering it, and when you throw it away then it will be re-used.

ReplyDeleteYes, the online newspaper is a great sense for children to keep in touch and interact with other kids and see what they are doing and what themselves can do to keep up with them and get some advice and try to get on the paper themselves with something good that they have accomplished.
ReplyDeleteI would rather choose the online website because the technology for kids if going to he huge as they get older and living through the great need items that are coming out and they take it as a granted for getting it.
ReplyDelete@Stephanie, yeah it will make a kids chance to finally be put on the children paper, and try to make then the next big thing by trying and trying to accomplish something, and they will have that memory for life, being on the paper and every other kid trying to take its spot.

ReplyDelete@Janat:p I got 2 computers and only 1 sibling and even if we do have 2 computers it does not always work out.Its true you can have 3 computers but it still depends on the time and when peiople want to ues it.So some people have the advantage and some don't.
ReplyDeleteAn online newspaper would be better then a regular newspaper we have now a days because it doesn't waste paper and it is easy to access , although an online newspaper may have disadvantages , it also has many advantages , and even though technology is getting better each and every day .. we could use that technology to reduce global warming and make our environment safer.

ReplyDelete@Stephanie , I agree .. using the internet is better then printing newspapers because it had loads of advantages , for example ; it is easy to access and you could access it from about anywhere .. printing newspapers is a waste of paper and energy because you would need to recycle the newspaper afterwards and to recycle it uses a lot of energy , which causes a lot of pollution. So to summarize the post ; Online Newspaper = Good Idea , Printed Newspaper = Bad for environment.

ReplyDelete@Vanessa , I think it would still be a problem for the elderly , because the font on the newspapers are extremely tiny and it would be hard for them to read. And I am pretty sure the elderly would prefer to watch t.v instead of read the paper , but it is just an opinion.

Therefore this post was made , it was about a website where kids could go to to get information about what's going on in the world , kind of like an online newspaper but for children and teens.

ReplyDeleteBut Nida the website is mostly kids so teens understand adult news like what if a child gets hooked on this website,and then they're stuck with the website the whole time,now most teens would grow out of that and start watching gossip news on the T.V, its all simple more teens like to watch T.V and they find it better than reading it off the computer,now I can understand that little kids like to read more,and I get that but Nida be honest would you rather pick the T.V over the computer??

ReplyDelete@Vanessa , the website was created because many kids get bored watching the news on the t.v , because the news channels on the t.v usually talk about the issues that adults care about more then children , therefore they created a website where kids can read articles about what they would want to hear about and what's going on in the world .. I just wanted to clear that up , lol.

ReplyDelete@El Presidente well it's just an idea. I know some people like reading actual newspapers but for less traditional people; the idea of newspapers being on the computer is not crazy. I remember once when I was at the Apple store and I could check out the newspaper articles from a newspaper on an iPad so the idea is around just not totally accepted by the public or in affect yet.
