  1. The villan in my book is a girl named violit her dad came to the survival school when he was her age she came to the school because she was tired of her twin she was a show of and she just wanted to get away from her so she came to the acadamy. She is really mean to him on his first day she threw a rock at belt and it broke and his kilt fell off(kilt scothish suit) she makes fun of how evryone in his family gets bolted. today i read about how he got really mad at her because she called him a lighting rod and tripped him so he challenged her to a boxing challeng but her lost after she punched him on his head and he hit his head on a radiator and passed out. I the characteristics to a good villian are being mean, ruthless, stone cold heart,no emotions for anyone, absoloutly no mercy and it is ddgood if you are rich so you can easily get away with stuff

  2. Book: Hit and Run So far in my book the most horrible character is Michael’s friend Vincent is Michael is the main character of the book. The story is about Michael’s mom getting killed in hit and run but the killer isn’t Vincent its is someone else. Vincent is the worst character right now cause one night Michael, Vincent and Sal stole some goods but Michael got caught and Vincent thinks Michael told the cops on him and Sal but he didn’t it was there history teacher who was a ex cop who told the police so now Vincent is forcing Sal to treat Michael bad like beating him up and calling him names.

  3. i think that the most sinister character that is not the villain is their potions teacher, professor snape because he is the kind of teacher that if made one mistake on the work or project, he instantly fails you.

  5. what i think makes a person into a villain is how they were treated as a child in the schools or in homes. i think its more of a revenge plan to them more than controlling the world, because the tom riddle was abandoned by his father when he found out that his mother was a witch and his mother died at the time of his birth, and thats how he became the dark lord

  6. I think characteristic to a good villain are being vicious, cold-hearted, filled with hatred, intelligent. A good villain should have these characteristics because a villain needs to be to be strong, violent, A villain needs to be cold hearted so he could torture people without him feeling bad for them, a villain should be filled with hatred so he could take killing and torturing others, a good villain needs to be intelligent so he or she could make good plans to capture people or kill their foe. The last thing you want in a villain with a stupid brain who gets scared and doesn’t know how to escape when police is after you.

  7. Usman who does the girl beat up in the boxing match and who is she really mean to? Usman what happened to the girls twin sister?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Usman the villain in your book sound pretty strong and mean. Does she have a gang in the survival camp because maybe all the kids might get mad at her one day and try to be mean to her and call her names? Was Violet forced to go to this survival camp because maybe she was to mean to her sister? If her dad sent her to this camp then I think her sister would have come to?

  9. The book I am reading is called EarthSea by Ursula K. LeGuin. Even though I am not very var into my book the first villian I've encountered is Losen A sea pirate who is the cheif warlord of the Otter's (The main Protaganist up to now) village.

Otter lives in an area once prosperous but now the wizards who were once great have turned to useing their abilities for the highest bidder. So now that wizard are fighting each other with out regard for the consequences many terrible afteraffects have come so the village folk hate everything and anything to do with wizards and now they seem to hate house wicth's just as much.

So when a child devolps this gift most families hide it just like Otters had. Intill one day when Otter had put a spell on a boat being made for Losen because it was a boat being used to capture slaves (ironic how that ties in with our movie).
When the boat reaches Losen his right Hand man Hound smells the magic on the boat undetecatble to a normal person. So now Otter is being held captive by Losen and Hound. Losen the books antaganist up to now has quite the ego. He calls himself king. But up to now not many of Losen's evil exploits have been recounted.

  10. @ nothing happened to her twin sister she is just a big fat show of she is mean to newton and beats him up

  11. For me the characteristic of a good villian vary but if I had to pick some definitly they would be based on some of the villians I remeber upto now from the books i've read.

So here they are they have to have some group of followers and they have to be powerful. Not only that but for them to be a true villian not one who comes back to the good side they have to strike fear into people hearts. Like He Who Must Not Be Named (voldermort) from Harry potter or Galbatorix a tyrant from Eragon. But for me the number one thing that makes a compelling villian for me is one with a story. Like Voldermorts childhood because he was an orphan.

    ReplyDelete
  12. @Usman I doubt that she is just a big fat showoff Human Beings are complex they rarely or almost never do stuff for no reason. She might fell threatened that newton might be a better student,or she might be jealous of the fact that he needs special treatment because of his curse, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  13. @ tarun no she choose to to come cause she is ego maineack she has some thing like a gang but mostly everyone is scared of her because she read all their likee profile at the school like some have bedweting problems she not like someone who cares about beauty she has a tranado for a heart

    ReplyDelete
  14. @ zak her sister is show off not her she is like someone who does not care about stuff that most girls care about like those goth girls in tv shows

    ReplyDelete
  15. I totally agree with you Cameron is true that a person becomes a villain because they are affected when they are little because they weren’t treated by their parents properly or they weren’t too much attention or the by the people around them because some people might live in areas where there are many crimes happening.

  16. in my book i would say the villan is Dr.Cable but tht main character tally doesnt see it that way now.im reading Specails ,the third book to uglies and Dr.cable was the villan with the characteristic as taurndeep said, but know tally the main character is programed to belive Dr.cable is her boss and and the villans are the people outside of the city- who live in the nature

    ReplyDelete
  17. For the characteristic of a villain it would depending on the story, not all villains are sinister or full of hatred, in some of the books I read the villain was just a person who thought he was fighting for what he thought was right/greater good. I guess they have to kinda have to have a back story, how they turned out like that. But sometimes the villain could be the hero but something changed. If the villain is just bad, sinister or just s brute that would be to simple, so it would be better if it is a mixture to make it more interesting.
The antagonist is Rodrigo Borgia, reason: he would take power by force so he can rule all of Italy, he would take out the leaders of different city so he can be in charged. He murders anyone that doesn't follow his ways.

  18. @ tarundeep or that they are obsessed with something and will go to any means to achieve that "goal", also if they are down really bad some would trick them by persuading them.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Janat in my say about your villain I think Dr. Cable is the perfect villain because he is intelligent, strong, mean. Dr.Cable is smart so he could make good plans, he is mean so he could scare people, he is strong so he could fight tough foes or enemies.

  20. My book is called THE ODDS GET EVEN. It is a Silver Birch novel. The author is called NATALE GHENT. In my book so far the villan is a boy named Larry Harry a.k.a the Fart King. The Odds (or the three main characters) call him this because Larry had peculiar talent of being able to break wind on command-and did so at every opportunity. He always likes to pick on the Odds. One of the things he likes to do to them is to through eggs at their clubhouse. He never travells alone. He likes the company of Jones and Jones identical twin bullies with the collective IQ of a wilted carrot. He is the Odds's mortal enemy. They've been bombing them with eggs ever since they entered their scrambled-egg-making machine in the Invention Convention in third grade the Scramb-o-nater as they called it. They would have won if Larry hadn't sabotaged their entry by putting rotten eggs in the refrigerated holding bin. " I felt bad for the judges) one of the main characters said. " I've never seen adults barf like that before) another says. " That creep sabotages our invention every year-it's the only reason he ever wins) says the third. I think the one of the characteristics of a good villan is never trust anyone, have a cold heart, never care about anyone except yourself, always try to be the best villan around and I agree with Usman if your rich it helps alot,it also helps to be really mean and also to frame people or blaming them for a crime they did not commit. Those are all my evil guy characteristics.

    ReplyDelete
  21. @ zak or they are use to having the spotlight all the time so she would do things just to get people to notice her, humans are complex but sometimes we would do things like that cause we like that feeling of getting noticed.

    ReplyDelete
  22. yeah i agree with thomas cause maybe some people are so addicted to some thing that they wil do such things.I think it was last year that a 10 year old boy who lives in montreal was addicted to a shooting game and his parents had a safety pistol in the house that boy got the pistol and shot 2 people and 1 was injured. So some people could get addicted to some things that they might do the same as they see some one doing.

  23. My book is Called : Diary of the wimpy kid The Last Straw.

This book villain is probably close as Greg's brother Rodrick, he is a bully to Greg all the time. Rodrick is just a few years older than Greg. When ever Rodrick see's Greg he'd always beat-him up, do a prank on him, or make him suffer. I think that Greg should get payback on Rodrick and start sticking up for himself and start giving Rodrick the taste of his own medicine. The Definition of a villain to me is they are evil, not close to being loved, they are ruling other people, destroying and making people lives miserable, i also think that every evil villain or person has a specific type of laugh and they do it over and over until they feel that they are done making themselves feel "good" about them. I don't think that Rodrick is evil or a villain but he is closest thing to being evil to his little brother Greg. Greg should stick up for himself and get Rodrick back.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @ abdullahi have you ever noticed that the villains that have body guards always seem to have a very low IQ. Do you think he is mocking them about their invention by throwing eggs at their house. The characteristics you described sounds a lot like one of those villains that want world domination or has one of those goals that only some people are fit for but mostly in stories there is going to be a sequel for those books. What would be a good idea for the odds to get even why not sabotage his next project or destroy/ steal something that is precious to him. you guys/gals decide.

    ReplyDelete
  25. @Usman, what do you mean they are "absolutely no mercy"

    ReplyDelete
  26. @Zak, your book sounds very interesting, and i agree with you how his ego is getting in the way and he is in denial that he is calling himself the "king"

Like Cheney said if you are a really good basketball player, people tell you, you don't tell people.

  27. The book i am reading is called The Last song and its by Nicholas Sparks. The book i am reading doesn't keep "villains" in it for a long time, they kind of come and go, but so far what i have read the 2 main "villains" in the book would have to be Ashley and Marcus. Ashley because when Ronnie and Will started dating, Ashley always used to tell Ronnie stuff that she didn't really wanna hear, for example; Ashley told Ronnie that Will took Ronnie to all the places that Will took any other girl, and that made Ronnie feel like shes just another girl that Will dates, a girl that doesn't mean that much to him. Marcus because hes always trying to talk to Ronnie when she doesn't wanna talk to him, and also Marcus made a problem happen with Blaze and Ronnie, which was Blaze putting stuff into Ronnie's bag so it looks like Ronnie was shop lifting just so Ronnie could get grounded and Marcus couldn't be able to see her because Marcus likes Ronnie even when Marcus and Blaze are dating. I think the characteristics of a "good villain" varies from what type of book you are reading, for example; if you were describing the characteristics of a "good villain" in my book, your answer would probably sound something like persuasive for Ronnie or Will to believe what their saying, or you might even say that their cunning, because they would need to know the right thing to say and the right time, but if you were talking about another book say for example a comic book, the villains characteristics would be sneaky so they could get whatever plan they need to do without the superhero needing to know what their doing.

  28. I agree with thomas some people ar so used to being liked and being the boss over people that they'll do anything to get the spotlight and do anything getting appluad and neing praised.

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Sharpshooter, don't you think that is kind of harsh killing someone who doesn't follow his rules and his way .. Yeah, he is definitely evil and the "villain"

    ReplyDelete
  30. @Talwinder , do you think in one point of the book Greg might stand up to Rodrick ?

    ReplyDelete
  31. @ talwinder yeah it is harsh but he doesn't care since all he cares about is to have absolute power as usman was talking about no mercy.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @Taurndeep, in your book who is bad, only Michael or the other people as well .. because they seem like a villain when i read your explanation of the book.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Tarundeep , Dr.Cable is a women ,and true she is a smart villian which is why she programmed tally to belive she isnt the villan

    ReplyDelete
  34. @Sharpshooter , i agree .. sometimes the villains don't even know their villains, they might just be standing up for what they believe in.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Niida, no i think Greg is to scared of Rodrick ever since they were little Rodrick as been a very cruel non-loving brother.

    ReplyDelete
  36. @Janet , why do you think Dr.Cable is a villain ?

    ReplyDelete
  37. @Sharshooter, i get what you are trying to say, evil people can be very vicious

    ReplyDelete
  38. What i think is the best characteristic for a villain, has to be their eyes. you can tell a very good villain if they have the power to make you nervous from their sinister futile, blizerd cold stair, that could inantantly melt you, thats what i think is number 1

Mr.Cheney, all the supportively called "villains all turn out to be good and friendly to my main character, which really puzzles this question for me.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Nida, i think both ashlay and marcus are just angry or jelous about the relation about ronnie and will, anf that ashly and marcus are creating problems on purpose like the shoplifting marcus blameed on ronnie

    ReplyDelete
  40. @Niida, in your book i think Ashley and Marcus are the not quite the villains but they are evil and they are trying to interfere in Ronnie's and Will's love life, and try to make them against each other, and that is wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  41. So Adam there is no villain or even close to one villain in your book, and which book are you reading.

    ReplyDelete
  42. And i agree with you Adam villains have evil laughs and evil eyes, which creep me out.

    ReplyDelete
  43. @Tarundeep , do you think its important for villains to be cold-hearted ? .. some villains are just seeking revenge on a specific person then rather killing other people.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I think people become villains because there are bullied in school so they want to get their anger out by doing bad things to other people or to different places and countries. But they get out of control and do more bad things because they get money by ransom or becoming and shooter. They join a gang so they also get money by doing things their boss tells them.

    ReplyDelete
  45. @Talwinder , since my book isn't really about villains and what not i would have to say that Ashley and Marcus are doing the worse by interfering with their relationship, therefore i called them the villains because there isn't anyone else who is trying to harm then as much.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I agree with Niida, villains are evil people that take revenge on people, and not trying to make them suffer by killing there life, i think cold-hearted is to much of a strong word.

    ReplyDelete
  47. @Janet , i agree .. i think Ashley and Marcus are jealous of their relationship because Ashley used to be Will's girlfriend and Marcus likes Ronnie and she keeps ignoring him because she doesn't think hes a good person to hang around with.

    ReplyDelete
  48. @Niida, they aren't villains but they are evil and cruel for interfering in Ronnie's and Will's love life, they shouldn't interfere and just mind there own business, and why do they even care about there relationship.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I think villans become villans become because somthing simaliar happend to them and want everyone else to feel the pain

    ReplyDelete
  50. Nida,Dr.cable is a villan because she tries to kill tally, and uses tally for her plans, like balckmailing her in the first book, then in the second book, she forcefully made her preety , so she could be a like a brainless preety, and now in specials, Dr.cable and her bestfreind forcfully make her like this and she now belives that Dr.cable is now her boss

    ReplyDelete
  51. yes nida if they arent cold hearted they wont get their revenge cause they will think twice to do bad things to others and they might not do bad things cause they'll think how they felt so what kind of villian are they.

    ReplyDelete
  52. @Janet, so Dr.Cable turned tally into her evil minion or a sidekick or is Dr.Cable trying to kill her and hide his murder?

    ReplyDelete
  53. In The book,A series of Unfortunate Events which is 13 books The most vile creature that shouldn't even be able to be thought about is Olaf. He's greedy, intentionally un-hygienic,violent,and ruthless. He doesn't care how people feel and he'll do whatever he needs to do to get his hands on the fortune of the family that is to be inherited by the eldest child who isn't of age to inherit the fortune. There's actually several examples, one being how he tried to set up a wedding with the eldest child which was his guardian at the time, and Olaf tried to marry this the child to get all the money...But he failed.

    ReplyDelete
  54. @Usman i agree with you, villains become villains because they have been treated dis-respected and now they want revenge on other people and make other people feel the way felt dis-respected and not treated properly

    ReplyDelete
  55. I agree Talwinder, cold-hearted is a strong word because occasionally villans are cold-hearted but thats only some of them, for example ; The Grinch .. people made fun of him and made him feel like he doesn't belong which pushed him to the point of not caring about other people and how they feel .. but in the end the Grinch felt better about himself and he wasn't cold-hearted anymore. I think most villains would focus on torturing one specific person then killing a whole lot.

    ReplyDelete
  56. i agree with talwinder those do sound like villians at all more like a distraction.

    ReplyDelete
  57. @Gurinder, you mentioned Olaf before in another iRead, is he that bad and miserable to other people?

    ReplyDelete
  58. Villians who seek revenge try to the similar thing to the people who they want to get back at cause they want them to remember what they did to them.

    ReplyDelete
  59. A characteristic that makes a good Villain is heartless-ness...Without sympathy, without feelings for how others feel you can use your power however you want and destroy those who are in your way.Without the feeling, you aren't slowed down and you can work at full potential.

    ReplyDelete
  60. @Talwinder , in my book they are villains because they did the worse if there was someone else who did something worse then them they would be villains, but if we weren't comparing my book to other books then they could be villains, lol .. and Ashley and Marcus care about their relationship because Ashley still likes Will cause they used to date before, and Marcus cares because he likes Ronnie.

    ReplyDelete
  61. @Niida, the Grinch is a very good example for this situation, he feels very out of place, and he feels like he doesn't belong there because he was treated dis-respected and then he turned evil and he started to do it to other people

    ReplyDelete
  62. @Tarundeep , they could still get their revenge on someone and still not be cold-hearted, cold-hearted means not caring about anyone in general, maybe the villain doesn't care about a specific person but they care about the rest of the people.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Usman This character must be really strong...Could dedication be another characteristic for a good villain? A villain eg Darth Vader had to be dedicated to the dark star to build something so powerful.

    ReplyDelete
  64. @Niida, oh i never knew that Ashley still had feelings for Will, and Marcus likes Ronnie.

    ReplyDelete
  65. @Talwinder , everyone had pushed the Grinch to the point where he didn't wanna talk to anyone anymore so he hid in a mountain, but whoever came by he was really mean to them and i agree, he was treated with no respect and that made him not care about anyone else.

    ReplyDelete
  66. @ nida they are cold hearted since like tarundeep said they won't think twice about what they are going to do and when villains are killing a bunch of people or just torturing, them they are only after a specific person just making it easier for them. They could also be after more then one person.

    ReplyDelete
  67. @Gurinder, why is Olaf trying to get money from the family .. ? Is he a gold digger or is he evil.

    ReplyDelete
  68. @Tarundeep Vincent sounds like a nasty kid.If michael is really his friend, then Vincent should believe and trust Michael.

If Vincent has to start accusing his own friends, then Vincent isn't a true friend at all..

    ReplyDelete
  69. but if a person isnt cold-hearted then its hard for them to get them back cause then they will feel pittyon them.

    ReplyDelete
  70. @Niida, i agree with what you are saying about the Grinch and everyone has pushed him to point where he couldn't dealt with it no more.

    ReplyDelete
  71. @Nida,fisrtly Dr.cable is a women and no she is using tally and some of tallys freinds that tally betrayed and she is using them to get her work done, which is to kill the pople she ran waay to -they live outside the city

and seconldt my name is spelles Janat :)

@Usman i agree wiht you bbecause the same thing happeniing to tally had happened to Dr.cable , well something alike

    ReplyDelete
  72. @Talwinder Olaf is the leader of a band of thieves trying to steal the fortune from the Family. The family is an extremely wealthy family that was being hunted down by an organized-crime-group.It doesn't really talk about why he wants it,but how he actually tries to steal it.

    ReplyDelete
  73. @ gurinder ya she is really strong most of the boys are scared of her its like she thrives on pain.

    ReplyDelete
  74. @ nida cold-hearted could also mean just caring about them self then just no one in particular.
And about the grinch yeah that i have to agree with since that could turn someone to go to the dark side.

    ReplyDelete
  75. @Sharpshooter , not necessarily all villains are cold-hearted.

    ReplyDelete
  76. @gurinder Yeah thats what is history teacher said cause is history teacher was the cop who was investigating is motherscase 4 years ago but they failed so micael's uncle who is 24 is kind of careless cause he doesnt care about him.

    ReplyDelete
  77. @ GURINDER are the thives poor and are they teenagers is that there only choice.

    ReplyDelete
  78. @Tron The potion professor sounds like he's bitter. It could be that he's weak on the inside.Too many bad events happened to him, that he wont take optimism as an option, and let the misery destroy him. This leaves a cold and sad person on the inside that takes out his or her anger on those around them.

    ReplyDelete
  79. @Usman mybe she isnt to strong cause you said she knows everybody's sercrets so maybe they dont want her to tell them thats why they act weak in front of her.

    ReplyDelete
  80. @Usman I'd like to be called by my blog name...
address the dark overlord properly next time!

The thieves aren't necessarily poor, but they're desperate. They've lived dirty and evil lives, and they're too weak to turn them selves around into the right direction in my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  81. @Gurinder, your book sounds very interesting, i read the first book of the series but it was boring so i stopped but the way you explained it i found it very good.

    ReplyDelete
  82. talwinder, rodick is a funny villain. whats his band called again, bursting dipear

    ReplyDelete
  83. @Janat, sorry about spelling your name wrong.. lol. Dr.Cable doesn't seem that nice, but it isn't very villain like of her to make other people do her killing.

    ReplyDelete
  84. @ usman thriving on parin interesting. What was her purpose of her coming to that school besides showing off.
@ janat what was the point of dr.cable killing those people was it just to threaten people and get them all scared?

    ReplyDelete
  85. that is true talwinder not all villans are cold harted like the ones that rob banks and peoples homes

    ReplyDelete
  86. @Plan Ben-G His band is called bursting diapers, and they play very hard rock, in Greg's opinion he thinks they suck

    ReplyDelete
  87. i agree nida not all villians are cold hearted. But they asked what are the characteristics of a good villian.

    ReplyDelete
  88. @ gurinder or they are just considering that that is their profession and they just like doing that since they are all ego maniac's that think they are so pro.

    ReplyDelete
  89. @El Presidente The pirate sounds like a sad puppet.Just trying to make his worth by evil deeds. If you're just a puppet for someone greater, then you're not really a villain, but a tool. The real villain, would be the man or woman in charge of this whole dilemma...Someone in the government probably.

    ReplyDelete
  90. @Gurinder , i agree .. a good villain can do a lot of wrong things but still feel no sympathy.

    ReplyDelete
  91. @Usman, yeah some villains can he cold-hearted but that is to much of a strong word.

    ReplyDelete
  92. @ usman robbing banks or houses is not considered cold hearted just lazy and wants to make a quick buck

    ReplyDelete
  93. Well, I just started reading The 39 Clues: Book 1. So there isn't really a villain in the book right now but there are some people I find suspicious. One family I find suspicious is the Holt family because they seem to just want the money. The other people I find suspicious are Ian and Natalie Kabra. They seem smart and want the money and that could be two things that make a villain because if they are smart, they can come up with a plan to steal the money. Also, this money they want is part of an inheritance from Dan and Amy Cahill's grandmother Grace.

    ReplyDelete
  94. @ thomas i don't exactly know i think it is to show of because before her sister was the more loved on in a way but i think the main purpose is to get away from her family

    ReplyDelete
  95. @ nida well it does depend on the story but in the end they are cold hearted but that word can change depending what happens in the story. Like my book just forcing their way to power and killing all that oppose them that's cold hearted.

    ReplyDelete
  96. @Talwinder The starting feels slow, but after the first book the story really takes off in book 2.Book 1 feels like more of an introduction to the series.Kind of like Harry Potter...The first book is boring and then it gets good a few books later.

But it is nice.In the beginning Olaf is just seen as some dirty bad guy,but near the end you see how determined he is to actually stealing all the fortune.

    ReplyDelete
  97. @Alyssa, your conclusion is smart, and i find the Holt family suspicious because they might make a evil pan to get more money and rob them from other families

    ReplyDelete
  98. I think what makes a good villain is someone who is smart but has a twisted mind. So if they have had a bad family history or if they don't like people, they could make good plans to harm people because they are smart. That is why I think that is what makes a good villain.

    ReplyDelete
  99. @Alyssa , does your book so far focus on the money ?

    ReplyDelete
  100. @Gurinder, the first was really slow for both of them, but i found Harry potter first book better than the book you are reading, i forgot its name.

    ReplyDelete
  101. i agree with thomas killing or kidnapping are cold hearted cause they dont care about thier famlies and sometimes they kill the person relly brutally so that is cold hearted.

    ReplyDelete
  102. @ alyssa i have read he 39 clues books before and finished so I won't give any spoilers.
those family do seem suspicious from what you had said, the Kabra seems like they would do anything for the money.

    ReplyDelete
  103. @ thomas i don;t want it to be considered cold harted i mean like it is evil or bad somthing like that

    ReplyDelete
  104. @Thomas The other members that are seen very rarely are all different (physically) and Olaf is the only real recurring antagonist.Olaf just keeps trying to take the fortune.

    ReplyDelete
  105. @talwinder They are also strong so if they want something or if they are going to rob people, they could probably hurt that person and get what they want. So yeah they could make an evil plan to do that making them a villain.

    ReplyDelete
  106. @Sharpshooter , i agree .. it depends on what kind of story your reading, not every villain can be the same because they would usually have different situations going on and the villain in your book does seem cold-hearted if they just care about power and money and not about anyone else.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Book: The heaven shop

so far what i have read in the book it does not have any villain. But there is a this girl name memory who has two siblings and she losses her mom in an accident and her father with cancer. so basically so far for what i have read there in no villain in the book but there is memory's aunt who is kind of mean but i won't exactly call her a villain because she is not always mean to them abut sometimes she is. so basically there is no villain in my book.

    ReplyDelete
  108. @Talwinder The books are just personal preference
I'd rather read about a vile villain that I admire (the determination he has) instead of reading a magical journey about some 10 year old learning magic from some old stranger (does sound a bit suspicious...Strange,old man and a little boy?)

All this talk about trying and failing but then trying again reminds me of...Dora!
That...Swiper Fox guy is always trying to take things away from Dora and Boots, but he fails and tries again, like Olaf does!

    ReplyDelete
  109. @Alyssa , i agree .. if a person has bad family history they could turn out to be a great villain because they would already know how it would feel like to be neglected and what not and they wouldn't care about what happens to other people because they would have a bad history themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  110. @Alyssa they are very strong, and they are powerful, do you think that the Holt's are one of those families that will do anything for money Such as kill them etc.

    ReplyDelete
  111. @ elpresidente what do they have against the wizards and witches are they just threatened by them? And for the war lord he must be self absorbed by calling him self king.

    ReplyDelete
  112. @ thomas and tarun i don't agree with you two because alot of people who kidnap are not cold haerted they wan't money or what about assians they kill people but somtimes it they think it is the only way to make peace even though that makes more violence

    ReplyDelete
  113. @Gurinder, that is a great connection you made there about Olaf, and Swiper in Dora, its relates perfectly. But harry goes older he just doesn't stay 10, but Harry potter is a fantastic book in my opinion

    ReplyDelete
  114. @nida yes it has mostly focused on money. Their grandmother died and had lots of money. So now they are at her funeral and reading the will to see who will get the inheritance. But she set up a challenge: they can take a million dollars and leave (them and other family members) or they can accept a challenge to go on a quest and unlock all the power in the world but have no money inherited. Now Amy and Dan have to decide which option to do. That is where I left off.

    ReplyDelete
  115. @ gurinder it seems olaf is the one person that hates it when someone fails, so he decides he would do all the work himself instead of having someone that fails him all the time.

    ReplyDelete
  116. @ hitakshee what do you think the main idea of the book is in your oppinion so far

    ReplyDelete
  117. @Alyssa so you know how you said that the Holt family only cares about the money so does it mean that they want the money from Ian and Natalie? because i am confused.

    ReplyDelete
  118. @ gurinder harry potter series is a good book to read since you like books about vile villains then its the book for you, because of voldemort.

    ReplyDelete
  119. @Alyssa , i could see why you think the Holt family and Ian and Natalie Kabra seem suspicious, they are all waiting their reading the will, if they weren't grieving then it would make it a lot more suspicious.

    ReplyDelete
  120. @Sharpshooter
Olaf never does anything alone. All his members of his thief band are useful.None of them have ever failed, but it's always the 3 children that come up with a way to foil Olaf's plan at the last moment.

It seems as If Olaf has everything planned out, really. All his members of his band are always where they need to be to achieve a task.

    ReplyDelete
  121. @ nida what kind of power are they trying to find is like super strong or some kind of amulet that gives you power.

    ReplyDelete
  122. well Usman i can't really say the main idea of the book now because i just started reading the book today and so far i don't know alot about what's going on like i don't know anything except about memory's family because i started the book today and a little bit about her aunt.

    ReplyDelete
  123. i agree with nida when something seems off in certain situations it does seem suspicious.

    ReplyDelete
  124. @Hitakshee , do you know if Memory was old enough to remember her parents before they died ? and i agree with Gurinders' statement, but maybe later on in the book Memory will try to figure out about her mothers and fathers lives.

    ReplyDelete
  125. usman i know not everybody who kidnap arent cold hearted but some people who kidnap are cause some times they kidnap little children and if they dont get the money they kill tyhe kid. that is cold hearted.

    ReplyDelete
  126. @nida also someone inportant in their life could have just recently died and that made them angry turning them into a villain.

@talwinder yes I think they are that type of family because if someone does something bad, they're not mad at each other. For example, the two kids, Madison and Reagon, lifted Dan upside down and said can we drop him in the pond? Then Amy said drop him and they but on his head.
Although they didn't get in trouble because their family was laughing with them. So based on that, I think they are the type of family that will do anything for money.

    ReplyDelete
  127. @ usman I think you mean @ alyssa and she doesn't know yet since shes only at the beginning

    ReplyDelete
  128. @ nida it would be a twist if her parents were alive but something happened to keep them away from them.

    ReplyDelete
  129. @hitakshee No they want the money from the grandmother's inheritance. Ian and Natalie Kabra are just two people who also seem suspicious.

    ReplyDelete
  130. @Alyssa , what do you think Amy and Dan are going to pick .. the quest to find the power, or the money? In my opinion, i think they might try to find the power because that's kind of worth more then money, and if their greedy then it would be a better chance of them looking for the power.

    ReplyDelete
  131. @Talwinder Rodrick doesn't sound realistic, actually. The diary of the wimpy kid was made for some humorous collection of literature. In my opinion,it doesn't deserve to be called literature. It's like the author only made the character to make it look funny, because it needed to have those outrageous events regularly.

    ReplyDelete
  132. @nida they don't seem to be grieving so that does make them more suspicious.

    ReplyDelete
  133. @Sharpshooter , i think that the twist in the story might make it really interesting and would make you wanna keep reading the book .. but it would be a really great mystery for her to find out about her parents.

    ReplyDelete
  134. @ gurinder that's true how it sounds like the author made it for humorous reasons, but it seems like it kinda forced the humor, it's funny for a while but it doesn't last long.

    ReplyDelete
  135. @Talwinder The thing about not being loved is realistic though.A character trait meaning that could be Emotionally Distant. If the villain keeps him or her self away from getting into emotional relationships (positive ones, and maybe a few negative),the villain can't submit to the feelings of others dictating their actions. But the aftermath of what their actions have created that will motivate them to do it again,or make it even worse.

    ReplyDelete
  136. @ tarun that is still not cold hearted mybe they just don;t want anyone to find out who they are cold hearted is diffrent in my oppinion if they are cold hearted thaat does not mean they are evil

    ReplyDelete
  137. @Alyssa , indeed it makes them more suspicious .. it seems like there's more of a chance of them staying there reading the will just for the money.

    ReplyDelete
  138. @nida I think they will pick the quest because they really liked their grandmother and their grandmother would probably want them to do that. Also, seeing as there is so many books in the series, I think they will accept the challenge.

    ReplyDelete
  139. usman what doed old hearted mean to you?

    ReplyDelete
  140. @Sharpshooter Not forced as much as it is almost...Cliche or Typical. It's like if we've seen the diary of a wimpy kid,we've seen it a thousand times because the situation is always being repeated in so many movies and tv shows. One is the Home Alone Movie. There's that butch kid who is the main character's older brother that is always making it worse for the child.

    ReplyDelete
  141. @ gurinder in my opinion it is forced since some of the scenes on the book it doesn't seem that funny, like the one with the headphones.

    ReplyDelete
  142. @Gurinder , i somewhat agree.. diary of the wimpy kid is kind of unrealistic because not all of the events that happen in the book would happen for real life.. but some of the stuff that happens in the book is things that could actually happen in life but the author would just make the book humorous to make more people read it.

    ReplyDelete
  143. @Gurinder, Rodrick is a funny character but i couldn't find any character close to being "evil" so i choose Rodrick because he always bullies Greg.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I agree with gurinder cause i think rodrick isnt a villian cause he is his brother and that to a older one by like 3-4 years so he could os him around or beat him up. that deosnt mean he is a villian in home alone butch is meanto his little brother but at the end he is always bein nice to him.

    ReplyDelete
  145. The situation where Villains can end up becoming allies is interesting...

An example is in the anime Avatar The Last Air Bender.Prince Zuko,an exiled Fire Nation Prince is trying to restore his honor by hunting down and killing the main character to show to his father that he must be brought back into the royal family.Zuko ends up realizing that the Avatar shouldn't be killed and that the Avatar is someone who will bring peace to the war-torn world. This leads Zuko to joining his sworn enemy, and fighting against his own kind,of the Fire Nation.

    ReplyDelete
  146. @Alyssa , good observation .. they may pick the quest because there is more books in the series and also it would make the story more interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  147. @hitakshee ,by reading your book so far , why do you think its called heaven shop , why do u think its called that, if she loses her parents and just has her siblings and aunt

    ReplyDelete
  148. @Gurinder & Tarundeep , i agree .. older siblings always pick on their younger siblings so its not surprise Rodrick is mean to Greg.

    ReplyDelete
  149. @Taurndeep, then if Rodrick isn't a bully, then i my book doesn't have any "villain"

    ReplyDelete
  150. @grinder yeah but even though Zuko be came friends with ang there was still the villain his sister and his father the fire lord

    ReplyDelete
  151. @Darthinder , i agree with you on that because it sometimes does happen and it adds a little twist to the story and makes like another villain ,like his sister starts to hunt the avatar and him i think (zuko's)

    ReplyDelete
  152. @Nida I do it myself actually...It's always nice to have a younger sibling to use as a personal assistant..Especially if he or she is someone who is clueless...

    ReplyDelete
  153. @ talwinder mostly books that are funny or shows, movies don't mostly have a villain cause it would mess it up. It would have to be pure comedy.

    ReplyDelete
  154. @Talwinder The wimpy kid greg...In his world his brother is a bully and he can't do anything about but it's funny. In real life, sibling abuse happens everyday and maybe in our own neighborhoods. And in real life, there's people that can't actually do anything about it.By abuse,I'm not talking about being like an assistant but like emotional abuse both physical and verbal that can shatter a life.

    ReplyDelete
  155. @Sharpshooter, i agree with you, so if Rodrick doesn't count as a bully, then i have no specific bully that i could refer to.

    ReplyDelete
  156. @Mentally Superior in the Dark Arts of Negativity and Criticism,Artistically Overpowering,Imperial Overlord of the Entire Universe and beyond,Darthinder, i agree with you in Greg's world Rodrick is probably a bully, but the author is trying to send a message how Rodrick is like any other brother, it happens constantly with siblings.

    ReplyDelete
  157. @ thomas near the ending the only true enemy is the fire lord because the sister goes mad with power cause the fire lord tries to take over everything and makes the sister fire lord

    ReplyDelete
  158. @Talwindr An example is the actress Mo'nique. Her childhood was ruined because of a sexually and emotionally abusive elder sibling...But people can recover, but saying that they can is easy to say,but it could be almost impossible when it really happens.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Book-Series of Unfortunate Events#2

The villan in my book is count olf.he wants the baudeliare fortune but the first time they caught him before he could get it and in this book he attempts to get it again.he wants there fortune so bad that he killed the 3 children uncle with snake venom.

I think the charastices for a good villian would be the villan is willing to go to extream measures to get what thet want cunning(smart)and to be able to make there plan work with out gettign caught.

    ReplyDelete
  160. @Mentally Superior in the Dark Arts of Negativity and Criticism,Artistically Overpowering,Imperial Overlord of the Entire Universe and beyond,Darthinder, i get it Rodrick isn't a bully so for my book, Diary of the wimpy kid doesn't have any villains, otherwise as Thomas said it just kills the comedy.

    ReplyDelete
  161. This blog is looking amazing

And it seems the Dark Lord has returned....now he is the greatest villain of them all

Menacing, hypnotic breathing, highly skilled, ruthless, persistent, the Force

    ReplyDelete
  162. @ grinder so it's a good thing to have younger sibling to be mean to them, nay it's common.

    ReplyDelete
  163. @Stephanie, i think your villain is spelt Olaf, because Mentally Superior in the Dark Arts of Negativity and Criticism,Artistically Overpowering,Imperial Overlord of the Entire Universe and beyond,Darthinder has the same book..

    ReplyDelete
  164. If i older sister, we get in a rough sometimes, but its normal for siblings, they don't always stay along, unless they are a perfect family .. cough cough impossible.

    ReplyDelete
  165. @Stephanie , the last part of your response seems like they would be intelligent. I agree that a good villain would go to extreme measures just for their plan to work and so they could get what they want.

    ReplyDelete
  166. @Jan The evil becoming good is something that happens in our city too.Last year, there was a Former Gang leader that was in drug wars in El Salvador, and he came to talk to us about how we shouldn't get into gangs.Because he recovered,he was able to help spread the message to prevent terrible crimes from being committed.

    ReplyDelete
  167. A: The most horrible sinister in my book has to be 'A'. Why? Because she is ruining everyones life. She is blackmaling everyone of Alisons friends, and the worst of it all is that noone knows who she is. She knoes every movement that you are doing, so if your doing something bad you better watch out because she can make your life a living hell. Since noone knoes who 'A' is, people are just getting in trouble because they are accused of being the killer. For example Tobi got arrested because people told the police that he was the killer, but he wasnt.

The characteristics of a good villian are: intelligence, and being sneaky. If you are smart then you can act as if you are 2 people. You can act as a normal human being and you can act as if you are the villian in your own home. So basically sneaky is the same thing as intelligence ( in my book ) because you can get away with anything without noone knowing whats going on.

    ReplyDelete
  168. @Talwinder , i agree with your statement .. its impossible to have a perfect family because no one is ever flawless .. and its true that getting into fights with each other is normal for siblings, because even if you get mad at them.. you would eventually forgive them because you live with them .. lol

    ReplyDelete
  169. @ steph is the the vilian an orpahn or something and is he an adult or a teenager and why are the childern so rich

    ReplyDelete
  170. @Pamela, who is the "villain" in your book ?

    ReplyDelete
  171. @Stephanie It sounds like a Villain has to be dynamic, too.Having more than one set of skills is often useful in the art of Murder.Poor Uncle Monty has to die because of the poison in book 2.
Olaf dresses up as Mafeo,is able to sneak in venom,is able to plan all these series of actions...It takes many skills to concoct such a series of unfortunate events.

    ReplyDelete
  172. @Niida, yeah no matter what siblings have fights all the time, it is very normal, no siblings have a perfect life and not fight. That is impossible.

    ReplyDelete
  173. @Pamela , do you think Alison is blackmailing her best friends because there's a misunderstanding between them ? for example Alison might think they did something when they didn't and shes been thinking something else the whole time. And Tobi didn't necessarily get arrested because people told the police that it was Tobi, he got arrested because Alison was wearing Tobi's sweater when she disappeared, so they thought that Tobi had murdered Alison.

    ReplyDelete
  174. @nida they are a good villain if they have a back up plan and so forth.

    ReplyDelete
  175. In my story the villain is just properly introduced and the humans want to have peace with villian(alien) so thats where i ended off but from what ive played on the game the whole peace thing doesnt urn out good almost all of the planet there on is at war and its very interesting because one of the enemies turnout to be a ally in the end

    ReplyDelete
  176. @Pamela, why do you think that Tobi is the killer ..?

    ReplyDelete
  177. @Pamela , being 2 people means being close friends with your enemy so when something bad goes wrong they won't suspect it was you who did it ?

    ReplyDelete
  178. @ pam is the A person good because he or she hurts people when they do bad stuff and who do you think it is?

    ReplyDelete
  179. @ gurinder also they have to have to be careful or else olaf would have been caught at that part all ready.

    ReplyDelete
  180. @Sharpshooter , i agree .. if they have a back up plan their a good villain because if one plan fails they have another to go through with.

    ReplyDelete
  181. @ master chief are you talking about what happened in the events of halo war and the arbiter? since he does become an ally.

    ReplyDelete
  182. @Master chief, what is your books name ?

    ReplyDelete
  183. steph , why does the villian in your book want a baudliare and what even is that he wants it's so bad

    ReplyDelete
  184. @Sharpshooter & Niida, every how i watch as a villain and they always "label" there plans A,B,C For backup so if they fail one, they can use the other ones for backup so they don't fail again.

    ReplyDelete
  185. For my book to be a villain yopu had to be strong mighty,be the "alpha dog" had to be an alien be a warrior,be tall and not look like .............................Justin Beiber(i just added that)

    ReplyDelete
  186. @Master Chief, i never understood one thing you said about your book.

    ReplyDelete
  187. Sharpshooter yes the whole arbiter becoming allys with the human race after the betrayal of prophet of truth but thats in halo2 after chief and arbi get caught by gravemind and then they kinda team up
    Talwinder its called Halo:contact harvest

    ReplyDelete
  188. @Talwinder , labeling their plans would make it more organized but if a event happens which they didn't plan then they would go somewhat off plan and make up their own thing as they go .. but if not they would use the backup plans then made before hand.

    ReplyDelete
  189. @Pamela I think the characteristic is being Decisive...Being unpredictable is a key to the element of surprise which leads to an advantage of power, leading to a worse result in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  190. @Master chief , whats wrong with justin bieber ? lol

    ReplyDelete
  191. @Niida, but i don't think "villains" have time to be organized to be a good evil person, they just o with the flow, and label there plans.

    ReplyDelete
  192. @ thamil why do the aliens start war and what exactly is the main idea

    ReplyDelete
  193. @ talwinder the only way you can understand is either play the games or read the book since it is hard to explain what is happening.

    ReplyDelete
  194. @ Nida

Well first of all i dont think Alison is 'A'. I think it is someone else that is always with the girls because she knows every movement that they do. Yes i do think that she misunderstood someonething that one of her friends did like her and Spencer had a fight the day she supposivly died. In my book it is different from the actuall show on t.v so in the book someone told the police that he was the killer.

    ReplyDelete
  195. @Niida There isn't anything wrong about Justin Beiber...He's rich,he gets all the girls. The only real problem he has is running away from otherworldly fans...Males are just jealous they dont get as much attention.

    ReplyDelete
  196. I agree with Gurinder, if you are unpredictable then you are going to be surprised which leads to a very bad ending on the book. So at the end on Pamela's book it is going to be a person you have least expected.

    ReplyDelete
  197. @Talwinder , if they want their plan to go just right they may or may not have it organized , they usually go with the flow when things are not going according to plan.
