What is the main idea of your story?

  1. I'm reading the book called the dairy of a wimpy kid, there is not main idea, but what happened in the book was the guy named Greg has a very tough life, he has a older brother named Rodrick and he bullies him a lot, and a little brother named Manny and he always draws pictures of people on his door with permant markers, and never gets in trouble, he has a best friend named Rowley, they always play video games together and have fun. If i had to make a main idea it would be your never too old to have fun, i choose this because Greg's mom told them not to go trick-o-treating no more because Greg and Rowley are "to old" but they still went and had fun.

  2. The book i am reading is called The Last Song by Nichloas Sparks. I think the main idea is not to be scared or standing up for yourself because in the book Marcus keeps following Ronnie around when Ronnie doesn't wanna talk to Marcus so she finally stands up to him and tells him to stop following her.

  5. Currently,I'm rereading the 3rd of 13 books in a series of unfortunate events. The story follows the lives of 3 children that are to inherit a fortune. The main idea, meaning the message from the Author is,that persistence can lead you to try,try again but it doesn't mean you will succeed.Relating to a lesson before, that to say that if you try and try,you will succeed is a lie, that it's not always true. This goes the same for the book. The children keep trying to run away from a problem they will never be able to solve, and they keep failing. And if they finally do prevail,it leads them to more and more misery. An example is from the sequences in the first 3 books. It starts with the fire, the problem is that they have to recover from this tragedy.Olaf comes along, but loses. The problem seems over, they go to a new guardian, and Olaf comes back as a chauffeur. The 3 run away again, they try and try to run away but he comes back again, but even more difficult to spot out.He pretends he is a one legged pirate,so nobody can actually say he is Olaf.

  7. The series I was reading was the 39 clues books. I'm not really sure what the main idea of my story is about sharing, since that they wouldn't have been able to found out or discover the treasure in the end. Without the help of the other cahliias from the other branches. If they didnn't share the clues they found all together, like at one part they were working with the hamiltons since. Thre was one clue where they has to go to a bunch of diffrent locations ans they need more people to help them. Or the time in the end where it was a five button key pad and one member from each branch had to press it, inorder to continue.

  8. @Master Chief, what portion of the book you are reading is related to your main idea?

  9. I am reading a book called Over The Edge, I had just started reading it so I dont know what the main idea is yet. But what has happend is that the main character, Chloe Yan, had moved to East Hasting 2 months ago because her step father had gotten a job oportunity as police cheif. Durring one morning her step father had gotten a call that Peter Flosnick, a kid that goes to Chloe's school is missing. Chloe has never really talked to Peter or noticed him very much, but now that she knows he's missing, she has him on the mind every day.

  11. For my book its to early to tell what the main idea of my book its because it is really long

So far what i think the books main idea is everything happens for a reason, because in my book, nothing good is happening in Rigg's life that will benefit him at the moment, his father got killed he tried to save the boys life (name Kyokay) who fell in the river and got killed going over the falls. having a mob of angry men go look and try to kill him for that. But even though he gained something better from that. Just before his father died, he told Rigg that his mother is still alive and he has a sister, when he was trying to save Kyokay he somehow slowed down time and was able the see people doing things back 300 years ago. And when and when he got to Nox's house she have him rare jewels that his father originally got for him that were worth alot of money. so thats my theory for just haw har i gave gotten in my book

  12. @Gurinder your book sounds interesting, who is Olaf ?

  13. Book : Diary of a Wimpy kid

The main story of my book is the Greg has to find a new bestfriend because his 'ex-bestfriend' Rowly doesnt want to hang out with Greg anymore. Greg found out Rowly has a new bestfriend and is having more fun than he is. So Gregs mission is to find a new fun bestfriend.

  14. @Master Chief Never giving up doesn't always work. The people that do try to invent things, the people that try change can (unfortunately) fail because whats around them and what the events that are present around them can affect the outcome of the effect and decision(s) they may or may not make.

  15. @SharpShooter, wouldn't the book for 39 clues main idea be, everyone is for themselves?

When micheal was telling this whole story to vin. Vin thinks what it wasn't a accident what it was a murder. i think the main idea is a crime cannot be hidden.

  18. Book:Liar

My book is about a girl named Micah. She is a liar but she is trying to tell the truth. The only thing is is that lying just comes to her and she can't stop. She says she is always lying (or that people lie) because they don't like what the truth is so they make up a lie so they can live in that fake world and pretend it is the truth. She wants to stop lying because she doesn't want to become the type of person that has made an entire world built up on lies and lives in that world and starts to do crazy things that they don't even realize. Basically, she doesn't want to go over the edge with her lies.

  19. My book is Hacthet By gary paulsen and I am rereading this book because I have forgotten how the story goes.

The main character in my book is Brian Robeson a boy who is living with the secret of his parents divorce and which contnually haunts him. Before he boards the plane to visit his father in the canadian north his mother hands him a Hacthet and a twenty dollar fold of bills. The plane they are taking is a small bush plane.

So during the plane ride the pilot is very friendly with brian but after sometime starts to expeirnce symptoms of a heart attack and jerks three times and just goes limp. Brian is devasted and doesnt know what to do he tries to use the C.B radio to radio for help but the radio shortly dies. So he is left to fly the plane on his own. So the plane starts to lose feul and brian has decide where to land and if he even can. So he sees a small clearing with a lake and attempts to land the plane in the lake. The impact was thunderous and brian just barely makes it out alive. And as soon as he comes out he falls asleep.

When he woke he was bombarded by hundreds of misqitoes biting at him everywhere. But he starts to get ahold of himself and takes account of what he has, he builds a shelter and finds some berries. And in the chapter I just read he comes face to face with a huge black bear albeit it it just looked at him and continued its buissness.

So what I think the Main Idea of the book thus far is that in the most dire of circumstances the best come of out people.

  20. The Main idea of my novel (Life Of Pi)

The Main character of my book is Pi Patel, a fourteen year old boy who believes in all life and wants to learn new things like Religion, Animals, and Life. He explores issues of spirituality and practicality from an early age by learing three different religions. So far in the book for me, I think the main idea of the novel would be learn life, discover new things.

  21. @Talwinder Olaf is this criminal that seems to be elite in the art of disguise and facade. He's supposed to be a very, very, very distant uncle of his.He is after the fortune that the family has left after the parents both died in a fire (it's believed to be caused by Olaf himself)so he can take custody of the 3 children, and take all their money.

  22. Book-The awakening(2nd book in a 3 part series)

  23. so far in the book, i think the main idea was that everything starts from a little alter in the daily life. the reason of this is because their had to be a reason why the dark lord became of what he is right now And in the forth book it happened because his witch mother of his died when he was born and his muggle father had left him after finding out that his wife was a witch. ever since he has hated the muggles for what they have done to him to make him fell different in any way possible

  26. @ gurinder well you can't always succed if you try again but you can succed maybe if you go for a diffrent approach., like with olaf yes he keeps going in with different disguses but he always seem to do things diffrently with each guardian inorder to gain the fortune. The three seems to run away a lot but that will get irratating and makes it easier for olaf to find them.

  27. @talwinder sharpshooter is right beacuse in the end all the cahills have to work together to discover the power.

  28. My book is called The Wednesday Wars. The main idea of my story is that there is this boy that always leaves after everybody else because he lives in the middle of the city and the other kids have buses pick them uo at an earler time then the boy. The reason he hates that is because he does not like the teacher he has this year. It is becaues the teacher hates his guts. He is trying the best he can but this teacher is just to mean sometimes. So far holling is doing a good job of being at his best behavior. He does every his teacher tells him to do the best he can. The teacher is start to become nice to him and once she almost smiled at him. That proves that he is doing a good job of being a good student. His dad is always telling him to be a good student at all times no matter what happens to him or how his teacher treats him and the plan is working.

  31. For my book theres not much of a main idea its just about a game series and the game series was just about the war a against Humans and Covenant(aliens) and there war started when the humans went into the alien space

  33. USMAN WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING? WHAT IS YOUR MAIN IDEA OF THE BOOK MAIN IDEA IS NOT SUMMARIZING THE STORY IT IS WHAT THE AUTHOR WANTS TO LEARN OF THIS BOOK.

  34. The book im reading is called WJHC, it is about two girls who want to change the school to make it beter. The main idea of this book so far is that, you should always keep moving towards your goal, and trying to get everthing you want is not the real purpose of life.In my book there is a girl named Tara who is always saying she can get what she wants because she is rich, but that is not the point. You dont make yourself look better when you get what you want you make yourself look spoiled, and no one likes someone that is spoiled.Janey and Ceil keep pushing towards their goal because they want to make changes in the school that suits the staffs decisions and also the students.

  35. I think the main idea of my book is that no matter where life takes you, seize the moment to do something great.Like when in my book when Heather got sick and couldn't go to Africa to help the people there Amber who is Heather's sister deciced that she will go in her place when that news came up.

  36. My Book im reading is Eclipse... i just started reading it and soo far, it soundss wayyy better then the movie. The 3 main characters are Bella,Jacob (a werewolf), and Edward (a vampire). so far bella and edward have both been acceptedd to a university in alaska.. and bella had a discussion with her father, about universitys, and her behaviour. so far what i read- bella is dating a vampire, that interferes with her friendship with jacob because werewolves and vampires are enemies, bella and jacob have been sending notes to each others houses, and by the looks of it jacob is really mad. so bella has to redeem her friendship with jacob while also.. in love with edward... to me this book seems veryy intense.. !!!
To me the main idea is in the whole saga.. pretty much bella is in love with edward.. but the interferes with her friendship with jacob. but jacob also loves bella.. and because she knows wayy to much about the vampires.. a bunch of vampires are out to kill her but edward and jacob help her... thats diffuicult !?

  37. @Ben - G Yeah Rowley is funny, and manny is really annyoing, Gregs parents aren't the brightest, they just have to relize that Greg is importantjust as much as Rodrick and Manny.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @nida, sry i dont really remeber the name, but i'll post it later when i ahve it, and the i wrote , the main idea, its about him getiing framed by some creepy people and then he has to spend his life in some prison which is like hell and there is noescape and thats what the main character Alex is trying to do and my names spelled janat ok :D

    ReplyDelete
  39. The main idea of my book. Well, I think that it is not to lie because your lies can catch up on you if you are not careful. Also lies can hurt you because you could get so caught up in them that your world is made up of lies and then you could do something crazy and not realize it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. @ talwinder it will seem that way but for them to reach the end they did have to share the clues with each others since some of them wouldn't make sense since they were missing some. also the part with the keypad they did have to work with each other at that part or else it wouldn't work. Also there were alot of clues that required more then one person in order to get to the next one so they did have to share with each other.

This book is historical fiction its places in the 19 hundreds in Canada, New Found Land.

  43. Book: Camp X
    Author: Eric Walters

the book is about Jack and George, two brothers who moved with their mom to a new town and there they discover a very interesting place, a secret army camp. The camp’s leader spots them when they are trying to sneak in and gives them a job, they can not tell anything they’ve seen, even if tortured. They learn much about the camp and are sent off with tasks. they were delivering newspapers one day and got caught by Germans. Jack and George are tortured and were also going to be killed but then they figure out some things about the Germans. They get away and warn the armies of the attacks. They risk their lives to warn the armies and they are proud even though no one else will know about what they have done except people working for the army. well this is the whole book's summary because i was on my last chapter today.

i think that the main idea of the book should be that always help other but never betray the people who you have already started helping before hand because than you should not be proud of yourself and in this case Jack and George first were helping another armies that were Germany's enemy and when they got caught they just went on Germany's side and told them everything they weren't suppose to.

  44. well Amrit why doesn't Mrs. Hatch's like girls like she knows that she a girl to right? is there a specific reason she hates girls?

    ReplyDelete
  45. @Nida Micah lies because it's easier for her to lie then tell the truth.

    ReplyDelete
  46. @amrit you said your book was historical fiction. So does that mean that that event really happened (or events like it) but it's fictional characters in the book. I too have read historical fiction so I know what it is but I've never heard of something like that happening which is why I'm wondering.

    ReplyDelete
  47. @janat do you know why your book is called Lockdown:Escape from the Furnace? Because it just sounds different and I'm just wondering why it is called that.

    ReplyDelete
  48. well you know that one day that lie is going to be caught right then also she lies

    ReplyDelete
  49. @alyssa, sure, its because the main character alex , right, he gets framed for murduring his best freind... but he didnt and since in the book murdur is taken really serious , so you get sent to this place called furnace and their its like hell. monsters and all and they frame lots of kids on purpose and alex wants to escape because , the furnace is underground and the only way out is the gate which is guared all the time and thats why the name is LOCKDOWN:Escape from the Furnace :D and the cover is kinda weird too

    ReplyDelete
  50. alyssa what kind of historical fiction books did you read

    ReplyDelete
  51. @amrit, your book sounds interesting, but how can Mrs. Hatch can work done from a 5 yera old, thats just cruel and also shes a little girl, so what type of work can Mrs. Hatch even get done from saddies's sister??

@steph, read the book your reading and its great, i just need to read the third one.also you know when chole running, is that other girl tara with them or was she gone by then because i forgot and where are they like in the factory or still running and being chased??

    ReplyDelete
  52. yeah amrit i agree with Janat that how can that mean and evil lady make a 5 year child work and if she does and what work does she give her.

    ReplyDelete
  53. @hitakshee there is a series of books called Dear Canada and those are the historical fiction books I read. If you like historical fiction they are good reads.

    ReplyDelete
  54. @janat oh ok. It makes more sense now it's just before I didn't get why it was called that.

    ReplyDelete
  55. @janat the other girls name is victory but thet call her tori for short and right now in my book there all still together but lyle house has found them once again so thry try to escape there cluthes before gettign caught

    ReplyDelete
  56. @alyssa so the girl wants to tell the truth but she lies and cant help it but she does not want to go over board what do you thin she should do

    ReplyDelete
  57. @hitakshee i agree that what you should do like when you start a job finish it adn be truthful to yourself which is like what the two boys did they stayed truthful and did what hey had to do

    ReplyDelete
  58. My book hit and run is a crime fiction i feel the main idea is a crime cannot be hidden because many people do bad things in the world. Some people are to lazy to do the work so the try to make it easy by robbing some people who work so hard to get the things they have or some people have so much hatred or anger in them that if someone even tell them that there wrong that they"ll get mad at them. This is lower talk but if we talk about murder and abuse and rape is because people want to take revenge at them. So i think the authors main idea is that a crime cannot be hidden. But i dont agree with this main idea i feel that in the real world a person could get away with what ever they did.

    ReplyDelete
  59. @ canadian leafs i'm reading the book jolted and I guess the main idea is necer to give up no matter what happens

    ReplyDelete
  60. @ canadian leafs I agree that paople that rob get really mad when people try to talk to them. I think they get mad because they know that they are doing something wrong and trying to except that robing is alrigt even though it is not.

    ReplyDelete
  61. pamela witch one are you reading. I read two out 5. the first two are great really halirious. WHY doesnt rowly want to be firends with greg is it because OF BOOK 5 CAUSE I READ THE review and it says that greg wnts to grow up fast and he is dealin with girl and boy parties with out rowly. I nevered liked rowly he acts to childish. I DONT like greg either he is to selfish.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Usman extend your thoughts like don't only say that never give up no matter what happens because that just to easy to say explain why you say that your main idea is that.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I think that when a person takes a decision or deos something in anger situation they mostly end up talking the wrong deicision or they end up doing the wrong thing. So i thing people who commit crimes are always anger so thats why they dont relize what they have done and when they find out they try to hide them selfs.

    ReplyDelete
  64. well not every time you do something wrong it means that you were very mad or not feeling well because not every time you do something means that you were very angry. say for example robbers they don't rob people every time they are angry. so i don't think people do things wrong when they are angry.

    ReplyDelete
  65. i agree that when they are mad they do bad deicision because they aren't thinking right and want revenge

    ReplyDelete
  66. Amrit what do you think that the main idea of the story was because that is what the question say "what is the main idea of your book". you book seems interesting but all you wrote was a brief summary about it, i want to know what do you think the main idea of the story is.

    ReplyDelete
  67. yeah your right hitakshee but i dont mean they rob in anger every time to say the anger in them makes them do it. it puts them in a track that could ruin there lives.

    ReplyDelete
  68. it's true Usman that they are taking revenge but it is not like they don't think at all before taking a wrong decision they should think a little bit before doing something. okay when you are really mad won't you or don't you think before saying or doing something?? you don't want to get in trouble by not thinking and taking a wrong decision.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Ya you are right but i'm talking about when people get made because someone did something. once someone had done ssomthing like that to me and i just wanted revenge @ hitakshee.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I know that hitakshee but sometimes keeps happing over and over so they get really angry and make the wrong choice

    ReplyDelete
  71. i agree with your this statement @canadian leafs. i also don't mean to say that you were saying all to a robbers but i just wanted to say what i think i should.

    ReplyDelete
  72. @canadian leafs , i have read that book, and i like it, but in the real world sometimes the crimals do get caught and are punished , and it is true that some people dont get caught and others get blamed and yeah like in mt book poeple frame him so he sould some to their horrible prison

    ReplyDelete
  73. oh ok steph ,thx

@hitakshee , your bok souds interesting but didnt there mother get suspious about where they were and all because if someone jsut moves to a new town, doesnt their mother wonder where they are and why , because most parents are like that

    ReplyDelete
  74. well janat who was the real person in your book who murdered that boy if it wasn't his friend.

    ReplyDelete
  75. well mostly she is at work so not really and those two brothers get home before she does and sometimes when they don't and when she asks they just lie that they were practicing for there basketball game and she will believe them because it is only for some days you know. but when they were sent of for that mission at the end their mother did get to know the truth, well at first she was really upset and mad but then she forgives them because she was happy that nothing happened to them and so now they promised her that they will never lie, tell the truth and never go back to that camp again.

    ReplyDelete
  76. @hitakshee i agree with janat and what do you think will happen at the end

    ReplyDelete
  77. hitakshee what usman said is true and what you said is right aswell but i thing that he wants to say that when a person who has faced something that made him get hot - tempered easily loses is self control some times doesnt know whats right and whats wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  78. @Hitakshee i read camp x it is a very good book, i wont tell you what happens, but you should read the sequel, camp 30 because then you will actucally get the whole book, just like we all fall down and united we stand.

    ReplyDelete
  79. @janat sry in at the part in the book when dereke and chloe get to andrews house and the lyle people found then and they need to warn simion and tori to go before we get caught

    ReplyDelete
  80. jan101 yeah people do get caught but the main idea which is crime cannot be hidden. Is wrong cause by what the main idea is that every story as a happy ending but its not like that in the real world some people get justice and some dont. some people get framed because they end up in the crime scene some how and they get what they dont deserve.

    ReplyDelete
  81. canadian leafs you are right about how a crime can not be hidden because even if you don't get caught right away you might get caught later or after the guilt of doing that thing just eats away at you until you confest.

    ReplyDelete
  82. @canadian leafs i agree soem people when they get they do stuff and then regret it later and soem peopel do major stuff when there angry or when achole is involed.do u think most crimes happen becausd alchole or being angry at someone is involed?

    ReplyDelete
  83. well i agree with you tarundeep. the main idea "crime cannot be hidden" is actually not a perfect main idea.

    ReplyDelete
  84. @ step I think people most of the the bad things happen because alchol abuse because just think how many bars there are that sell alcohol and stores there alot of people that drink alcohol so that means alot of crimes but not everyone who drinks gets drunk and does crimes

    ReplyDelete
  85. gurinder so their landlord starts stealing from them and trs to send the girls tothe orfanage because she hates girls.

    ReplyDelete
  86. @ hitakshee why were the germans after them was it because they were in the seret army or was it something they had known? If so what was it that they know or what the germans had against that army. Unless its a spoiler and you don't want to tell.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I think that some about 60% percent of the crimes happen because people are drunk or are mad at each other. Last week there was a story of a women getting shot in bar cause she refused to give a shot of alchol to 3 2o year old youngsters. After 4 years this case was reopened and was given justice the girl's family was shatterd caause this case went on for about 2 years before those guys got freed and the girls mom died because of heart attack and and about 6 months after he mom died her dad got an heart attack and went in to coma. the guys that killed her were sons of people who were rich and in the goverment so no one steped up to be the witness because they were scared of those guys. but after 4 years when a news reporter and the sister of the victim dug in and got the clues then they were caught. this was in mumbai, india. almost every day a person as be shot or stabed because of gangs or revenge.

  88. @ adam why did everthing go back 300 hunderd years? and is nox his aunt?

    ReplyDelete
  89. @usman i agree not everyone who drinks alchole does crime but do you think that it could be the main effect in why people get murded or hurt?and that is true alot of places sell alchole but only if your the right age but it also depends how much % of alchole is in the drink like beer has a very littler alchole in it so people drink alot of it.

    ReplyDelete
  90. @ Usman I think i know what you mean some people say alcohol makes you do things but others say it only makes you want to do things you already want to. Its a challenge to everyone but its off topic you can answer it if you want on what you think.

@ canadian leafs yeah i agree with you but isn't robbing harder then working for it since there is a chance of you getting caught but your going to get caught any way. But some people work harder to try and not get caught.
@ Hitakshee is camp x a good book? it sounds interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  91. make you do things you and you don't know about it and your judgement is impaired* forgot to add this in to my previous post.

    ReplyDelete
  92. @hitakshee what genera is your book and what asg group would u recomand it to because ti sounds very interestign.

  93. Book:voyage of the snake lady
the main idea is about how the main character Myrina the snake lady also the leader of the Moon riders struggles to keep herself and her fellow warrior priestess of earth mothe rmaa alive after the ant man attacked (ant man being the ruler of
Troy)their camp killing not only many moon riders but slaughtering the fisherman and their sons but the main idea is how they survived

    ReplyDelete
  94. @ canadian leafs that is proof that when people hurt smoeone really badly it doesn't just hurt that person it hurts alot of other people like thier family so people should really think ahead of what is going to happen and people that get drunk fast should really take control how much they drink

    ReplyDelete
  95. @ steph I don't that the the number one cause of murder is of alcohol but i would say it is kind of high but if you mean that someone who drinks and gets into a car crash and dies or gets runned over then I think it is at the top

    ReplyDelete
  96. @rukiye that sounds liek a really good book do you think that they will survive and do they tell you how to survive or is it just based on them tryign to stay alive because in my book stayign alive is what thry have to do but they have money which is heping them stay alive but if they get caught them its game over.

our boks are alot alike because its both tryign to stay alive and n my book thry are also tryign to find out the real truth because they are sick of lies.

  97. @ hitakshee in my book, the people who own the the furnace and help with it , did it infront of him but no ones believes him (thats because he and his freind went to rob a house and inside those guys from the furnace came and murdured his freind so alex can be blamed and lok giulty and greddy over money)and the poeple who work for the furance do the same to other inocent kids , so they can be trapped forever in the furnace which is like hell

@rukiye , how is Myrina a snake lady??like does shee turn into a snake or something or like mudusa ???and i know this is a weird question but is ant man tiny too because hes an ant ruler??

    ReplyDelete
  99. for my book
the main idea for this book is well i think to do what is right cause in the story Roberto ends up doing the right but is always planning to do things in the wrong way.

    ReplyDelete
  100. @usam i see what your sayign and ya i dotn mean the #1 caues of people dieing but i think it makes the top 10 or maybe the top 5.

    ReplyDelete
  101. @steph, in the book your reading, so simon and tori are somewhere else then where dereke and chole are, but where are they and how do chole and dereke know- are they caught by them yet , or just know there coming and are hiding or trying to get to simon and tori

    ReplyDelete
  102. @ rukiye who is the fisher man and why are they important isn't the story of how the snake lady survives?!?

    ReplyDelete
  103. thomas you are kind of right it is kind of willing i have heard they do it because the thought of doing it is already in thier head but they have enough control to know it is wrong but when they drink the thought just takes over.

    ReplyDelete
  104. @heli , what book are you reading??? and why does roberto do it wrong way. because if he wants to do the right thing then why wouldnt he do the right thing the right way??

    ReplyDelete
  105. @heli y dont you think he gets there is it the way the author wrote the book or is it just because the waythe story is unfolding.

    ReplyDelete
  106. oh wait sry heli , i didnt read your first post so thats why i asked the boks name , sry

    ReplyDelete
  107. i read the book last year and ya they do survive thanks to the sinta tribe but before they seeked their help they were always low on food and they lost a lot of their people during the fight and when the boat sank

    ReplyDelete
  108. who is the sinta tribe??? and who rules that tribe and answer my first questions :D

    ReplyDelete
  109. @ janat the book is called Fire in the Hills {i think i wrote it on the first post i made }and you got that wrong, he did things the right way but planed it wrong in the first place.so he ends up doing things right.and just to tell you he wasn't with his parents for a long time he had spent more time with soldiers.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I apologize for my fashionably late participation...Oranges,tetris and mousetrap-powered cars just seem to be more interesting, such a world.

@El Presidente I never got around to actually reading hatchet...But it does remind me of the 9/11 attacks and the movie that we did watch

(this comment got glitched on the website and now I have to retype it,I was supposed to reply to you like at 11 am)

In the movie, and in the event itself, people seemed to become more open, more generous and more aware of the tragedies occuring around them. It's almost as if people care more when its a big number, and not several over time that the individual doesn't know.

    ReplyDelete
  111. @janat well they are all in the same place but dereke is a werewolf(hope u noe this cuz i dont want to ruin the book 4 u)and liek they were tryign to test chole powers butsimion and tori are in the huest house so there have to warn them before the lyle house people find them.

    ReplyDelete
  112. @ Stephanie it's the way the book is written and i think the story is going to unfold soon.it said that he was taken from his parents but nothing more i hope there is more.

    ReplyDelete
  113. @heli. oh ok, yeah i relized after that you posted before that , so why does his parents sent him to the camp that he would have to spend more time with soliders thne his parents??

    ReplyDelete
  114. manga/anime-rulez your book sounds interesting, but the good thing is that is sounds so interesting, like it has the suspense in it.I think i read a book like that but there is a book i read last year called "the heaven shop".

    ReplyDelete
  115. @steph, yeah i know hes a werewolf, i read book 2, i just need to read book 3 thats it and love the st and 2nd books but i forgot most parts , oh ok , so what i do know is that later its only simon , chole and dereke then then tori comes back i think later on

    ReplyDelete
  116. @ janat he got taken away from his parents it wasn't his or his parent's choice the soldiers just toke him.[when he was small, in the book it doesn't tell much more then, uptill what i have read]

    ReplyDelete
  117. @heli same when your readign a book there are realy borign parts that give u very little info but then at the other parts where it makes u read till u cant stop but the authors do that to tie the book togther.

    ReplyDelete
  118. @ stephanie i know i hate when they do that but i guess that's how you write books.
but it really grabs you it some parts

    ReplyDelete
  119. @Heli,, sry i think i got confused with an other book i think proably , so when he spends time with the soliders and trys to escape, why does he get stuck in italty??how is it too dangerous?, like is it from the soliders or just the way they live and thats hes afaird that he'll get caught real quick?

    ReplyDelete
  120. @janat well right now there all together and i think from this point they stay together for the rest of the book. i read soem more and they lyle house people want to catch then so bad that they are willing to kill them before they were shottign tranq darts and now its bullets so the lyle house people dotn care wat happends to then as long as there caught.

    ReplyDelete
  121. @Heli your book sounds very interesting, i may read it after you are done, but i am curious about one thing, the random italy person Volpe rossa helped him go home ? But how ..

    ReplyDelete
  122. usman people dont care about other people's familys and thier love ones but your right people who get injured there family will suffer.

    ReplyDelete
  123. same i agre with heli and steph, i dont like boring parts but if you skip them there is usally some info , in their, like in the Norah McClintock book,s some borings parts are important because they have little clues to solve or find something

    ReplyDelete
  124. @Heli That reminds me about integrity, how sometimes you have to go against the crowd to do what's right for the greater good, that and video games like final fantasy 10...

Does Roberto have an opportunity to do things the right way? Or is he forced into a more negative manner? Is he malicious?

    ReplyDelete
  125. @heli same i hate it but i still read everythign cuz once i dditn read it proper then when the action part came i didnt noe how it happened so i guess they do it 4 a reason

    ReplyDelete
  126. 2 janet
Roberto's home in Venice, and that is in Italy
and it's dangerous cause nazis took over the part he is in.

    ReplyDelete
  127. @steph , yeah i read about that , because the lyle house is really desperate beacuse they want to use then for their evil uses and would give up anything to get them ._. and i thought their was a part when tori is seperated fomr then then comes back , did u get to the part yet when chole and tori are beat up by some other girls??

@hili...opps i didnt know that , oh ok so if he goes home he'll get caught and taken back

    ReplyDelete
  128. @Manga Anime The setting of the book...Is it like a Middle-Ages Magic-Fantasy kind of theme to it? And the snake lady, does she control snakes or is it a nick name because she is like one?

The moon riders, are they mounted on some mythical spawn of animals?

    ReplyDelete
  129. @ gurinder alot of people do the wrong thing because every one is doing it I think they do it because they are scared to stand alone or want to fit in

    ReplyDelete
  130. heli is the book about the holocaust? it is pretty intrusting historical fiction.

    ReplyDelete
  131. @Master Chief For a book on a video game series, there still could be a theme, but it's not believed to be an intentional one that gets people thinking, but a marketing technique:Over-Hyped video game merchandise? Or something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  132. @janat ya i passed that part im at the part where they are at andrews house and the lyle people track then down.i think the lyle people are a bit overboard cuz u do noe wat happpened to lix she got killed cuz she was not doign wat they wanted her to do.and then toir mom blames chole on the escape.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Heli why were the Italians so dagerous?

    ReplyDelete
  134. @Master Chief

To continue, after a cup of water....

For a book from a perspective of a soldier in the future going to war along with his crew and leader (master sarge?) The message trying to be sent across is that it's (almost) only when something happens to you or someone you care, you instinctively have sympathy.

    ReplyDelete
  135. yeah your right usman lots of people do the wrong thing buy following other i think its because of peer preasure or maybe if theyre doing i can do it to or maybe if you think your best pals are doing it must be right.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Gurinder I think the book was made for more people to buy the video game almost like a advirtisment.

    ReplyDelete
  137. @Canadian Leafs A terrible waste of beautiful posting space! My typed up text could be there...Such irrelevant content *mumble mumble lame sporting events mumble*

Now...To continue in my quest of 50 posts by 8:39 AM on February 9....

@Usman Yeah, its acceptance that affects everyone. If everyone was accepted by everyone else, problems like terrorism wouldn't exist. But,humans aren't like that and I don't expect us to ever develop at such a high magnitude at anytime in my lifetime, and in a million years for that matter.Problems with acceptance could be something that will always be here, unless someone wants to challenge that?

    ReplyDelete
  138. @Usman For an advertisement,it's wonderful that they actually made the book. The information that you can analyze and apply to your life is so true about our world,it feels almost unreal in a word.

But then again, there's other morals and messages by the author that might be read by people.Instead of Acceptance,it might be how people are born unequal. Some people are born into high class families, and other into unfortunate.

    ReplyDelete
  139. you are right but most people aren't like that.

  140. The blog is feeling a bit light and unpopulated at the moment...Too bad I missed all that time to blog in ''prime time blogging time''.My quest for intergalactic, universal and blog-ular domination will continue tomorrow.

To add to my entry about the book I am re-reading.Another main idea could be that there's crimes going on all around the world, and we can't stop it because (dare I say)it is Human Nature to have greed.(Might be a bit too strong to say greed...How about Collectiveness?)

This might even relate to how no 2 babies are born with the same advantages and disadvantages.Everyone's life is different, and that's why some of us can't accept others;leading to the question:What are humans really?

    ReplyDelete
  141. terroists do what they do because they whant to send their twistedmessage to the world.

    ReplyDelete
  142. @ darthinder i am hoping that it' a complement
and Roberto is free, he ran away so no pressure
    he is just like that

    ReplyDelete
  143. I what exactly do you mean by greedi mean there is nothing i have the greed for if you truly think there is greed for everyone then what are you greedy for

    ReplyDelete
  144. @Darthinder in your book i think the main idea is that you can overcome things that block your path i have red the entire series and i know that many more things happen to the 3 siblings but by working together they will overcome there problems.

what part of the book are you at?

    ReplyDelete
  145. Argh! I just had to come back to answer one more question...

@Stephanie I've read all the books years before,I'm just reading the 3rd book right now,the Wide Window...The part right after they get put into the custody of Count Olaf who is dressed up as a 1 legged pirate, when Aunt Josephine is believed to be dead.

    Okay then...Now

The imperial overlord must retire to his dormatory,to his slumber >_>

  147. Tron master of the world dont u think its shocking to the guy to find out the fact that his wife is a witch?

    ReplyDelete
  148. Vanessa i like ur books main idea because its so true that u shouldnt act or show off that u can get whatever u want just like thatbecaus eit looks bad unmannered as well as rude and spoiled.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Stephanie whats the moral vlue of ur book?

    ReplyDelete
  150. Stephanie i think that drinking alchol and beer effects that the fact of people dying because as Mr.Cheney said in health that Alchol is a depressant so it slows down ur body and so meaning it slows down ur actions and reactions which also means that if ur driving a car and u have to make a turn fast unfortunatly u wont be able to do that and it will turn into a accident.

    ReplyDelete
  151. @Stephanie In my first post,I suggested the main idea of A series of Unfortunate Events was the idea that trying and trying doesn't guarantee you success, and it's that the things around you just have to ''work for you'' so you can succeed.

    ReplyDelete
  152. yeah i agree people do wrong things because of peer presser but it is not always because of it you know sometimes there could be another reasons too you know so it is not always because of peer presser.

    ReplyDelete
  153. well @Darthinder you know that the things around you just don't always have to work for you so that you can succeed sometimes your trying also can make you succeed.

    ReplyDelete
  154. well Amrit what is the main idea of your book because it sounds interesting and i want to know what you think the main idea of your book is.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  156. @steph, yeah there pretty cruel, so did chole find the whole file of the dead people like them with some special powers yrt<<i think that was in the in some part of the book and while she was, i think she contacted Liz, while liz tried to ignore her afew times

    ReplyDelete
  157. well nida i agree with your main idea because in my book the way those two brothers were very scared and went on the german's side i think that if they were really with the other armies than they should not be scared and should have stood up for what they think was right and should also have stood up for the other armies instead of getting scarded and not.

    ReplyDelete
  158. @stephanie I think she should learn that telling the truth is good. It may feel bad in the beginning because you might get in trouble but it makes you feel better in the long-term.

    ReplyDelete
  159. well Janat why was Liz trieing to ignore her few times? i don't exactly know the story you are talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  160. @ usman the italians are not dangerous but they are in danger beacuse the nazi attack on them and they have raised the prizes of food and it's getting hard for them to buy food and there are no jobs people do to earn money.that's why they are in trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  161. @janat well in the first book she had raised a bunch of bodies in the basement of lyle house but in this book she raised the spirit of a a dead guy when they were in an abandom place hidign from the lyle house people.

i agree that was crul just because they dont do what they want you to do does niot mean you can kill them.

    ReplyDelete
  162. @steph , now i mean the FILE of them -other teens they killed because they weret listening- when they go to some place that is connected with lylle house, she finds some file, so did you pass that part or still not at it?? a

    ReplyDelete
  163. @hitaskshee and janat liz was a character in my book but since she did not do what the lyle people wanted her to do they killed her

    ReplyDelete
  164. well i agree with you alyssa that telling the truth might be really makking you feel bad at first but for long term i think telling the truth is the best thing because if you lie one day you are going to b caught because can not be hidden for a long time so telling the truth is a better idea for long-term.

    ReplyDelete
  165. @ hitakshee, i was talking about steph's book, liz was ignoring chole because she didnt want to talk to her because she just dies and she was upset and didnt want to talk to chole about how they killed her but she doesnt really know or remeber

    ReplyDelete
  166. @janat long pased this was the part when she gets onto edr.davodif computer and finds files about all the kids there beside her and dereke name there is a ? mark and it says for liz im not sure what it said for sure but it was like extermanted.

    ReplyDelete
  167. like steph how old is she because didn't she live or have her parents with her.

    Top students
    1 Usman 18
    2 Hitakshee/Stephanie 17
    4 Janat 15

7 of 26 posted 10 times or more 26 percent

The most telling stat is that with 169 posts none of them are the teachers, and I usually account for 20 or so comments.

As well it is great that this production came with no prompts to post on the blog
