The conflict in my story is that Micah (the main character) is trying to not lie. The only thing is is that she likes the world that shes made up with her lies. She is also trying to deal with the death of her boyfriend so it's hard for her to stop lying because her world shes made up with lies isn't like reality for her.

the conflict in my story is that Cat Peters want to go to the exchanged trip to Sweden because all of her friends are going and so does she want to. but her mom can't afford such and expensive trip to Sweden because it's really expensive. so in this case Cat Peters is really upset and doesn't know what to do.
In my story the conflict is that for 200 hundred years newtons family kept getting shocked by lighting and was killed and newton does not want his life to end like that so he go to a survival acadamy of survival school to learn how to survive lighting.
i think the conflict in my book is that Harry believes that Malfoy( Harry's sworn enemy in Hogwarts) is one of the Death Eaters replacing his father's place. the only problem is that no one believes that Harry is telling the truth. and he is trying to get over the death of his only family he did not know for so long
well Alyssa what i think she should do is that tell everyone the truth about what happened and then explain to them that why did you lie, maybe it could be possible for you that those people could forgive her and maybe she can start a new life with no more lies only telling the truth.
well Tron Master what i think Harry should do is that maybe try to convince people more about Malfoy and if they still don't listen to him then maybe he should get some short of prof or something that can make people believe in Harry and that Malfoy is actually a death eater instead of fighting him all by himself.
Usman really from 200 hundred years newtons family member are all dieing from the shock of lighting no one lived there entire life without getting killed by the shock of the lighting? i was thinking if his family is getting killed by the lighting is there a specific reason for that or is it the place they are living that has to do something with this, and if that is so than why doesn't newton move somewhere else and live there instead of being afraid and living here. if it doesn't have to do with the place then also he can move somewhere else. And does he live with his parent well you talked about the family 200 hundred years ago what about his parents????
@usman I think that instead of him going to an academy on how to survive lightning he should've just stayed inside during storms and live life to its fullest so that when/if he gets hit by lightning he's already done what he has wanted to do.
@hitakshee that would be good for her to do but she's lied so many times to so many people that they might not believe her when she says I'm going to be honest from now on. Also, if she was going to tell the whole truth about herself she wouldn't be able too because she has the family illness and the family illness is that she is a werewolf. She turns human but she has to take medicine so that she doesn't turn into a wolf randomly. That's another conflict she has to deal with.
i agree with you Alyssa that Harry should trick malfoy and make him do something bad in front of the people and then everyone will believe him but Alyssa do you think that he would be that smart the he will come in his enemies talk (meaning Harry).
well what will be the best for her now is that just forget all the lies she has told people and then from now on start telling the truth and if she really want's to change herself them she should go apologies to the people who she has lied and hurt there feelings. And if that is going to be to hard for her than i think that she should just stop lying now and tell the truth.
the conflict in the book hit and run is that my main character who is micheal had lost his mother in a hit and run situation. every body thinks it was a accident. but when micheal told his friend vin what happened to his mom. thier was thought that shocked everyone was it a accident or a murder.
But Alyssa if he is going to stay inside during the storms it doesn't mean that his family from 200 hundred years no one would have stayed or been outside during the storms.
hitakshee i think the solution to your conflict is going to be that micah is going to go to sweden because she going to raise the money by her self and ask for some from her parents and maybe her parents are going to give in cause she'll be trying so hard.
well Canadian Leafs what i think that your main character Micheal should do is that maybe if he thinks that his mother was not killed by an accident then maybe he shoyld make people realized that she wasn't killed by an accident.

i agree with hitakshee cause his family isnt that stupid that they wouldnt know that thier is going to be a storm coming their had to be some signs of storm coming and they wouldnt run out side on porpuse in front of the strom they must have stayed inside. Maybe their house isnt to strong to keep the strom away maybe they have a weak roof.
I think the conflict of my story is that Holling (the main character) has to deal with a teacher that he does not like for a whole year. He thinks that she hates his guts and it's true (or so it appears true because of her negetivity towars him). He has been paitent with her and things have started to become brighter for Holling. Mrs.Baker has start to become nicer to him and did not distrupt the success of his dad's architect company so now his parent are happy with him.The day just became a brighter day for Holling Mrs.Baker actually smiled at him twice and they were real smiles!Mrs.Baker never smiled at him or anyone before so that is a good thing. Holling is now kind of enjoying being in Mrs.Baker's class. They are reading shakespeare and it has alot of cussing so he thinks that if she had read it before she would have never let him read it. It turns out that he was wrong. She had read it and let him read it. Holling couldn't believe it!How does he know? One day he said a word from shakespeare and she knew what it meant and where it came from. That has to be proof that she read it before.
the conflict in my book is about a girl who thinks she is all that and she is rich,so she tries to get her dad to get a famous teen singer named Beatrix, but when she asked her dad he said NOO!! so now this girl is going to ruin the school concert, to raise money for a radio show.
well i agree with your solution but there is another problem why her mother is saying no it is because Cat's mom is mostly busy and always working and so there is no one to take care of her little sister and so her mom wants Cat to stay and take care of her sister. and she can't take her sister on the trip because she is not allowed.
@hitakshee it doesn't mean that no one else from his family has tried that but it doesn't mean he shouldn't try it. maybe it will work for him. I also said he could live his life to the fullest so that if/when he gets hit he would have done everything he wanted to do.
i forgot to add she is going to try to do it herself but i have a good feeling that she is going to ruin it for her school,and the students who let her join the radio show.( lesson learned:never be a spoiled child and get what you want because in the end their will be problems!!)

The conflict in my story is that Brian (the main character in hatchet) has just been the victim of two acts of utter insanity one being randomly attacked by a wild female cow and injuring his ribs and the second getting caught in a tornado all his belongings were thrown into the lake and his shelter was distroyed. And not to mentin he's been stranded in the wild for sometime now fourty four days to be exact.
the problem in muy book is chloe is seeing ghost and she can also rais the dead but she needs to find away to control her powers before she spills the secret and could get everyone caught by the lyle house people.

@abdullahi people dont make fun of her but they don't like her. She doesn't hate lying but she doesn't want to go over the edge with all her lies. She does lie to her parents and friends because she thinks that sometimes a lie is better than the truth. i think every time she lies it doesn't really bother her but she has to remember what she said to that person so she doesn't say something different next time and they catch her in the lie.
@zak the lyle house people are a group of people who worked at a house for special kids until chloe found out that they were much more.and yes they do have alot of people involed they had a very big group until people started to relize it was wrong but to now in my book they still have a bit of power but alot of people in there group.
yes chloe has 3 very close people in the book but the thing is is tht they each have there own differences liek 2 of them can cast speels and one is a wereolf so its hard to help a person that you dont no much bout there condiction

The conflict in my story was that Pi secretly was apart of three religins, hinduism, christianity, and muslim. One day Pi came home and was shocked what he saw. The Priest from the Cherch, the Imam from the Mosque, and the Pandit from the Temple were all at his house. They explained how Pi was apart of three religins. Hinduism, Christianity, and Islam. So the three wise men start to question Pi what religin he would choose... So now Pi doesn't know what to say...
well Alyssa do you think that what Micah is thinking is right like sometimes lying is better then telling the truth. don't you think that if she is going to keep on doing this then she is going to be not able to stop lying intead she would lie more than just stop lying and telling the truth.

@hitakshee I think Cat should ask her mom for a bit of the money and then she could raise the rest of the money herself. If she can't do that I think she should just realize she can't go and ask her friends to send her letters or something telling her all about what is happening.

in my book right now she is staying with a friend of simion and dereke who are her to closes friends and the one she can trust the most. anderw set her up with a person to help her but she took her to a grave yard which only made thing worst so she has to find someone to help her who knoew her strenght or she could end up hurt

@stephanie what I mean by that is that when she lies (for examlpe when she told everyone she was a boy). She made everyone believe that. So that was a world she made up with her lies that she felt was better than reality. I hope I explained that well.

The book i am reading is now The diary of the wimpy kid, the last straw, it is a very good book, the problem was in my book Greg and his family were trying to stay commited in their new years resulation.
The dad : He said he would go on a strict diet, 5 minutes later Greg saw his dad munching on a lot of brownies in the basement hiding.
The mom : She said she would go to the gym more often twice a week, but she went once a month.
Greg's brother Rodrick : He said he would stop spending so much money on his scream-o cds, but in the next couple of weeks he spent over $100 on the cds
Greg : He said he would help other people with their new years resolution, but that didn't work out.
Any comments back of the solutions to the problems ?
stephanie you know how you said that she got those powers from her mother right did her whole family could see the ghosts and raise the dead's. doesn't she have any siblings and if she does do they have this powers too.
@stephanie Is there any one in your book that could train them. Because in most cases in books like those the least likely of people also posses powers like the grumpy or old neighbour. Or maybe even her mother can help her. Is her mother alive?
@ usman a good solution for them is to wear rubber since it doesn't conduct electricity. And i have read a little bit of the book your, staying inside didn't help since i think it was his grandmother got struck with lightning from using the phone or was it staying near the phone.
yeah i agree with zak cause maybe after her boy friends death was a shock that to keep her life going she had to lie and move on like in united we stand james's is mother has to be strong for her children but she knows that her hausband is death.

What I'm trying to get across is the fact that it could just be coincidental the fact that newton and his family have been hit by lighting soo many times. @talwinder he got stranded on his way to visit his father in the canadian north. He is visiting his father because his parents are divorced and the secret of the divorce is eating at him. So on his ride in the small bush plane the pilot starts to experience a heart attack and Brian has to take control of the plane and when he tries to land the plane he lands it in a lake, so with no one with him he was stranded alone.

@talwinder the only means of contacting someone is creating a signal fire. He recently had a plane pass over him probally searching for him andhis signal fire couldnt be seen by the plane so he was thrown into dejection but soon become a much tougher person. But other than a signal fire to signal a plane passing over head he has no other way of signaling people.
@Zak what would you do if you were ever in Brian's condition ? Having your parents divorced is already a tough part in life, on top of the Brian has to deal with being in the wilderness by himself on with a hatchet that can help him on his journey.
@prayas I dont think he will choose all three religons because all those religons may have simalarites but they also have vast diffrences and to join one and then to join another would be contradicting because the two possibly dont have the same belief and the same foundations or principles.

@brown kid it's a really nice book I am really enjoying reading it I would reccomend it. And to answer your previous question no he is alone, alone with his thoughts and his shelter. Actually let me correct that he is not alone because there are plenty of wild life but he is void of any human companionship there.
2talwinder If I were in Brian's situation im not 1005 sure what I would do intill I get into the situation. But what I would try to do is remember evry usefull thing I have learned prior like Brian does. Like Fire has three components, Gas,air and fuel and some of the usefull stuff I learn from shows like Bear Grylls. But I am not 100% sure what I would do because it is one thing to say your going to do something another to actually do it.
well no because she has had many encounters when she has had to deal with it with out being teached by someone and like they say the more you practice the better you get.
Wow @Usman ur book sounds like Newton might have quite an adventure learning how to survive lightning. I think he should use rubber because rubber doesn't conduct electricity

Pi is in a very tough situation at this point, choosing which reilgons to stick with, but he can't just choose one because he belongs in all three of them, thats not going to be fair.
@Talwinder yep I learned a whole lot from reading Hatchet and I would definetly use some off the usefull info from the book that brian learns to do. But It was his mistakes that helped Brian Really surive.
Like Him not catching the plane in time to light the signal fire beacause of that dissapointment Brian Really starts to become diffrent and starts to really thrive in the wild intill he is dealt another blow in the form off the mad cow and the tornado.

Wow @Zak ur book and mine are sounding kind of the same because Pi ends up with a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker threw out his adventure. Pi manages to stay alive for 227 days. And your book sounds the same because Brian was not alone all the time he had the confort of nature. I would really enjoy reading your book and would recimend it to other people.

@hitakshee she is trying to stop lying because if she continues lying, she may go over the edge and do crazy things without realizing it. But it's hard for her. she is starting to tell the truth more but lying is almost second nature for her.

well Alyssa doesn't her parents realize that she is always lying because if everyone knows that she is a lair that maybe her parents also know about this too right. and if they know about this then aren't they really mad at her?

Janat she is trying all of that only problem is that she has her sister to take care of you know because her parents are always to busy and so cat is the only one who is mostly looking after her little sister and if she is going to go on the trip to Sweden then there is no one to take care of sookie(her sister) and she can't take her with her on the trip because she is not allowed.

Well, I forgot eldest at home, so I'll relay on about Walkabout- By Eric Brown. There were many little issues that were solved throughout the storyline, if there wasnt, what kind of book would it be. But the main issue is that Sophie, was being stalked, around the web-world, and in real life, and one day, her uncle never returned home(because she was orphaned), she was worried because he went to the local pub, and when she went to check on him, he wasnt there. He was gone for 2 days, which left Sophie worried sick, and then he finally returned, but Sophie thought as if he were dead inside and not the same playful person that he had been, and he looked at the world with a hidden wonder, Sophie could only tell that by looking at his eyes. She was afraid that he had drunken too much, so one day she follows him to the pub with one of her soccer teammates who is old enough to drive, but he doesnt stop at the pub, he goes past it and drives until there were no buildings in sight. Sophie was astonished to what she saw, Hundreds of people, scanning the landscape as if they had never seen it all before, and then, one of then spoke, as if they were the leader, and in some unknown language too, this worried Sophie even more, and then she left, a little shaken about what she saw. Her uncle definetly has some issues, What do you think is going on?
@hitakshee she did lie before the boy thing (like in the book she made up her brother so yeah shes lied before). In the book i just found out how her boyfriend died. He was killed by dogs. But Micah knows that there is this boy who she is sure is a wolf and killed him (she is a wolf too by the way so she knows there is such thing as wolves).So know she has to do something about this boy/wolf who killed her boyfriend. It affects her because her boyfriend was one of her only friends and now hes dead so how do you think she would feel after one of the most important people in your life died?
@hitakshee is that the forth book to the series of cat peters or is a new book with nothin to do with the others.if it involes the other books what do you think grim hill has in store for her thid time
Book: A Curse As Dark As Gold This book is placed in the early 1900's Th econflict in my book that i am reading is That Charlette about 15 and her younger sister are orphed because of their mothers death a few years ago and their fathers sudden death. They own a mill named Stirwaters as that is their last name but because of their fathers sudden death Charlette and her sister are left alone to take care of it and they cant handle all of it becaus ethey are in major debt they have so many bills to pay as because of their fathers sudden death they can not and are unable to pay their workers so other mills are taking advantage of that by offering stirwater workers higher pay and most mills are trying to bribe Charlette to sell her family mill to them. Charlette doesnt know what to do she now a orphane along with her sister will she survive thats all i know so far considering i just started the book today.
@ Zak, any reasons on why all that has happened to him? Maybe a little bad luck? Sounds interesting, I think that he will probably get rescued, as is what always happens in that type of storyline, but it would be pretty awesome if it were anything like the "Island" series by Gordan Korman or "Airborne" by Kenneth Oppel
@hitakshee, about steph book, i dis agree because before she even learned about her powers , she saw randoms ghost with out her doing anything so even if she tries to ignore them they still will come to her and then lyle house will make her work with them anywayz
@usman if you always lied and then someone told you something life changing, wouldn't you make up a lie to "change reality" so it's better? I don't know its just if everyone lied it would be easy to do that.
alyssa micah's family is lieing so much. i think theier family firends or relatives dont trust them anymore. THERE is nothing worse than your on relative's not trusting you.

@arvindersabharwal i've read that book before and fouond it interesting at first but then i didntreally get it because it got all confusing and the story was mixed up , but i do know whats happens and how she manages to survive
@ Amrit, Sounds like a book I read, But I cannot recall the name, it was a book with all the fantasy fairytales you could think of, and the story was about 3 girls, all sisters, orphaned by some man who loaned a lot of money to them, he killed his father, mother died at childbirth of the last child, and they run away, only to run into more trouble with the big, bad wolf, or the Witch in Hansel and Gretal. In the end, there was a confrontation with the Debtor, and the book turns out to be unromanticized, they turn him into money, but the money turns into ashes, and then the ashes turn into some type of volcanic mass that obliterates them into the afterlife.
The conflict in my story is that Micah (the main character) is trying to not lie. The only thing is is that she likes the world that shes made up with her lies. She is also trying to deal with the death of her boyfriend so it's hard for her to stop lying because her world shes made up with lies isn't like reality for her.

the conflict in my story is that Cat Peters want to go to the exchanged trip to Sweden because all of her friends are going and so does she want to. but her mom can't afford such and expensive trip to Sweden because it's really expensive. so in this case Cat Peters is really upset and doesn't know what to do.
In my story the conflict is that for 200 hundred years newtons family kept getting shocked by lighting and was killed and newton does not want his life to end like that so he go to a survival acadamy of survival school to learn how to survive lighting.

ReplyDeleteI think the conflict of my story is that Holling (the main character) has to deal with a teacher that he does not like for a whole year. He thinks that she hates his guts and it's true (or so it appears true because of her negetivity towars him). He has been paitent with her and things have started to become brighter for Holling. Mrs.Baker has start to become nicer to him and did not distrupt the success of his dad's architect company so now his parent are happy with him.The day just became a brighter day for Holling Mrs.Baker actually smiled at him twice and they were real smiles!Mrs.Baker never smiled at him or anyone before so that is a good thing. Holling is now kind of enjoying being in Mrs.Baker's class. They are reading shakespeare and it has alot of cussing so he thinks that if she had read it before she would have never let him read it. It turns out that he was wrong. She had read it and let him read it. Holling couldn't believe it!How does he know? One day he said a word from shakespeare and she knew what it meant and where it came from. That has to be proof that she read it before.

The conflict in my story is that Brian (the main character in hatchet) has just been the victim of two acts of utter insanity one being randomly attacked by a wild female cow and injuring his ribs and the second getting caught in a tornado all his belongings were thrown into the lake and his shelter was distroyed. And not to mentin he's been stranded in the wild for sometime now fourty four days to be exact.

The Priest from the Cherch, the Imam from the Mosque, and the Pandit from the Temple were all at his house. They explained how Pi was apart of three religins. Hinduism, Christianity, and Islam. So the three wise men start to question Pi what religin he would choose... So now Pi doesn't know what to say...

The mom : She said she would go to the gym more often twice a week, but she went once a month.
Greg's brother Rodrick : He said he would stop spending so much money on his scream-o cds, but in the next couple of weeks he spent over $100 on the cds
Greg : He said he would help other people with their new years resolution, but that didn't work out.
Any comments back of the solutions to the problems ?
stephanie you know how you said that she got those powers from her mother right did her whole family could see the ghosts and raise the dead's. doesn't she have any siblings and if she does do they have this powers too.

So on his ride in the small bush plane the pilot starts to experience a heart attack and Brian has to take control of the plane and when he tries to land the plane he lands it in a lake, so with no one with him he was stranded alone.
@hitakshee i think the soultion to chloe problem would be to try different ways to control her power then when she finds the right way ues that to solve future problems

ReplyDelete@talwinder the only means of contacting someone is creating a signal fire. He recently had a plane pass over him probally searching for him andhis signal fire couldnt be seen by the plane so he was thrown into dejection but soon become a much tougher person. But other than a signal fire to signal a plane passing over head he has no other way of signaling people.
@Zak does brian have any way of communication with anyone so they can rescue or talk to him...How he's feeling

ReplyDelete@Zak what would you do if you were ever in Brian's condition ? Having your parents divorced is already a tough part in life, on top of the Brian has to deal with being in the wilderness by himself on with a hatchet that can help him on his journey.

Actually let me correct that he is not alone because there are plenty of wild life but he is void of any human companionship there.
ReplyDelete2talwinder If I were in Brian's situation im not 1005 sure what I would do intill I get into the situation. But what I would try to do is remember evry usefull thing I have learned prior like Brian does. Like Fire has three components, Gas,air and fuel and some of the usefull stuff I learn from shows like Bear Grylls.
But I am not 100% sure what I would do because it is one thing to say your going to do something another to actually do it.
well no because she has had many encounters when she has had to deal with it with out being teached by someone and like they say the more you practice the better you get.

ReplyDeleteWow @Zak ur book and mine are sounding kind of the same because Pi ends up with a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker threw out his adventure. Pi manages to stay alive for 227 days. And your book sounds the same because Brian was not alone all the time he had the confort of nature. I would really enjoy reading your book and would recimend it to other people.

ReplyDelete@hitakshee she is trying to stop lying because if she continues lying, she may go over the edge and do crazy things without realizing it. But it's hard for her. she is starting to tell the truth more but lying is almost second nature for her.
@zak lying is important to her because sometimes it gets her out of trouble and other times her world of lies feels better for her than reality.
@talwinder, yes i know, thats what im trying to say but thats not what tally thinks or anyone else does other then shay and thats why shay runs, no one agrees with her and the autherites were forcing her to be an pretty

ReplyDeleteJanat she is trying all of that only problem is that she has her sister to take care of you know because her parents are always to busy and so cat is the only one who is mostly looking after her little sister and if she is going to go on the trip to Sweden then there is no one to take care of sookie(her sister) and she can't take her with her on the trip because she is not allowed.

ReplyDeleteThere were many little issues that were solved throughout the storyline, if there wasnt, what kind of book would it be. But the main issue is that Sophie, was being stalked, around the web-world, and in real life, and one day, her uncle never returned home(because she was orphaned), she was worried because he went to the local pub, and when she went to check on him, he wasnt there. He was gone for 2 days, which left Sophie worried sick, and then he finally returned, but Sophie thought as if he were dead inside and not the same playful person that he had been, and he looked at the world with a hidden wonder, Sophie could only tell that by looking at his eyes. She was afraid that he had drunken too much, so one day she follows him to the pub with one of her soccer teammates who is old enough to drive, but he doesnt stop at the pub, he goes past it and drives until there were no buildings in sight. Sophie was astonished to what she saw, Hundreds of people, scanning the landscape as if they had never seen it all before, and then, one of then spoke, as if they were the leader, and in some unknown language too, this worried Sophie even more, and then she left, a little shaken about what she saw. Her uncle definetly has some issues, What do you think is going on?
@hitakshee she did lie before the boy thing (like in the book she made up her brother so yeah shes lied before). In the book i just found out how her boyfriend died. He was killed by dogs. But Micah knows that there is this boy who she is sure is a wolf and killed him (she is a wolf too by the way so she knows there is such thing as wolves).So know she has to do something about this boy/wolf who killed her boyfriend. It affects her because her boyfriend was one of her only friends and now hes dead so how do you think she would feel after one of the most important people in your life died?

Th econflict in my book that i am reading is That Charlette about 15 and her younger sister are orphed because of their mothers death a few years ago and their fathers sudden death. They own a mill named Stirwaters as that is their last name but because of their fathers sudden death Charlette and her sister are left alone to take care of it and they cant handle all of it becaus ethey are in major debt they have so
many bills to pay as because of their fathers sudden death they can not and are unable to pay their workers so other mills are taking advantage of that by offering stirwater workers higher pay and most mills are trying to bribe Charlette to sell her family mill to them. Charlette doesnt know what to do she now a orphane along with her sister will she survive thats all i know so far considering i just started the book today.

Sounds interesting, I think that he will probably get rescued, as is what always happens in that type of storyline, but it would be pretty awesome if it were anything like the "Island" series by Gordan Korman or "Airborne" by Kenneth Oppel

ReplyDeleteSounds like a book I read, But I cannot recall the name, it was a book with all the fantasy fairytales you could think of, and the story was about 3 girls, all sisters, orphaned by some man who loaned a lot of money to them, he killed his father, mother died at childbirth of the last child, and they run away, only to run into more trouble with the big, bad wolf, or the Witch in Hansel and Gretal. In the end, there was a confrontation with the Debtor, and the book turns out to be unromanticized, they turn him into money, but the money turns into ashes, and then the ashes turn into some type of volcanic mass that obliterates them into the afterlife.
