  1. Im reading the book the warrior Cinda Chima and the books main proataginsit is Jack Swift a 16 old boy that lived a normal life in Trinity,Ohio. In the prelogue Jacks aunt linda makes a deal with Jessamine Longbranch a wizard from the houses of the white rose.

The red rose and white rose are feuding wizard houses and the decider of who gets power is this tournament called the Game, where one warrior is pit against another. Jack was a baby who was supposed to be a wizard but in his supposed life saving surgery his wizard heart is swicthed with a weirlind heart a warrior heart. Fast forward a bunch of years and jack is no longer that baby but a fully grown 16 year old. And its the day of the soccer tryouts.

He forgets to take his medicine which he takes everyday and starts to see a change in himself he is faster stronger and more confident. That is intill his power has him almost kill Garret Lobeck an instigator who is the definision of trouble.

And thats where im up to in the book so far.

  2. The character in my book that reminds me of someone in the class book cheat is Garret Lobeck, and he reminds me of Dan the man.

Simmalarities: The two seem to be able to act like jerks but it seems acceptable to most but not all. And Garret also seems like the type who would think of cheating on a midterm like sleeping on cloud nine in temrs of its simplicity.

Diffrences: Garret is so far a lot more violent than Dan is.

  3. In both of the books( the book cheat and the one im reading) there seems to be an underlying theme of a hidden agenda. In my book the MD Jessamine Longbranch and wizard of the white rose only saves Jacks life so she can use him in the Game. And in the book cheat even though we have not heard much about him jake may have gave the tests away only because of his need to included with the "popular kids".

  4. I'm reading (Fire on Water)

It's basicly about a real story of a great boat racer. The characters name is Ned. Ned is like Rob.

Simmalarities: Rob ran away because he was afaraid of getting caught by his father about the cheating. Ned ran away from the police after he got caught selling beer. Beer caused alot of problems with boat racers so they wanted to ban beer from races.

  6. The book I'm reading is Tears of a Tiger by Sharon M. Draper. It's about how 4 teenagers were drinking and driving, and one of the teenagers die in a car crash. He was burned alive. This teenager was the school basketball team's captain. The driver who had been drunk,is named Andy and he's trying to recover from it,while living in guilt and sorrow.

The book is very interesting since it has something to do with what happens almost everyday in schools;teens drinking. It's something that happens in our own schools, too.

  7. i think my character is kind of like Jake he isn't a show of and he doesn't act cool or anything like that he is just kind of like an average kind of kid.

  8. (Fire on the Water)

The name makes sence... It's about a boy named Ned Hanlan. He was one of Canada's first superstars. The story of his rise from fisherman's son on Toronto Island to world champion rower. It reveals how a young man of spirited character, talent and determination navigated his way through the often corrupt world of international rowing.

  9. I am still reading Unbelievable(I put it in my locker and never read it). One of the characters in my book is called Mona and she is just like Dan. She is pretending that she does not know anything that is going on with A. But Hannah, Aria and Spencer think she has something to do with it. When they would ask her a question about A, she would respond as if she does not know what they are talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Sorry didnt finish.....

So I was saying how Ned had spirited character, talent and determination navigated his way through the often corrupt world of international rowing. He is fired up on winning the world championship rowing. The race is on the water and Ned is fired up to win.

  11. The authors writing style is unique, too.Every ''chapter'' is like a different form of information.Like one type of chapter is where it's a dialogue between the main character,Andy and people like psychologists, coaches, friends and parents.Another chapter could be a news paper, and another is a perspective by a fictional essay written by a fictional student in the book making the environment more realistic. The forms that the information is in recurs like a pattern, which keeps it interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  12. The main character Andy seems to just be guilty, but he's trying to figure out what he has to do now.The other 2 teenagers, are B.J. and Tyrone.B.J. is timid,he was the only one sober during the car crash.Tyrone's character hasn't been evolved yet,but it's more like the four were just ''buds''.Andy feels guilty because Rob,(the teenager who died) was the one killed because of Andy's reckless, drunk driving. He does resemble Jake,a little. In this guilty position, except Andy has to go through something far worse than being caught as a cheat source.

    ReplyDelete
  13. B.J. is like Katie because he is a teenager that looks at himself and looks at his flaws like Katie does, and he pulls out of danger when he would be able to.In ''The Cheat'' Katie talks about how she has flaws like not being physically (NOT AS) attractive as Sarah is,or how she has to carry the burden of family issues. In ''Tears of A Tiger'',B.J. mentions in a chapter (His prayer to his God) about how he is short, and how he was the one that didn't get bullied for being who he was.B.J. mentioned in his prayer that his friends almost respected him not to drink, like B.J. had more self control or knowledge than his friends.Katie and B.J. seem to have similar morals and values. They know what's right, they're going to follow what's right, but when they get the chance to do something evil, they'll pull out because their conscience is very strong.

    ReplyDelete
  14. @usman can you explain what is the M16?

    ReplyDelete
  15. @gurinder I've read that books first chapter its really a good read from what ive read so far. There all basketball players I beleive and who was B.J best friends with?

    ReplyDelete
  16. @Gurinder I agree with you how the authors way of writing is very unique because every chapter is like a different perspestive of a different character. That's what make it cool that the information comes like a pattern, which keeps it interesting and unique.

    ReplyDelete
  17. And also

Rob also reminds me of someone in my book (forgot his name). He dumped Hannah for Aria because Aria's mother was part of the schools staff. He was not getting high grades and he would always ask Aria to ask her mother to bump up. He is just like Rob because Rob broke up with Katie because Sarah had the answers, so he dumped Katie and when onto Sarah because of the answers. Sad

    ReplyDelete
  18. @pamela is unbeleiable Pretty little liars, the names sound the same just wondering?

@usman Isn't jake the one who always gets bullied. (I missed that part of the book).

@prayas how is the world of rowing corrupt I personally don't follow the sport what are the rules and regualtions?

    ReplyDelete
  19. zak the MI6 is the like CIA for the for england.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Another character in the book, named Gerald who is a cousin of a friend of Andy's is a very close friend of his.Gerald is a lazy, sack of meat.Strikingly familiar, isn't it? A name that rhymes with Man,and starts with D? He's just like Dan from ''The Cheat''.Gerald said, with confidence that he didn't study for his test,so he'll just get the answers from one of his classmates that sit beside him.He says that she's the smartest girl in the world,so Gerald can use this to his advantage. In ''The Cheat'',Dan doesn't think twice about cheating,he gets the answers and uses them like a person would treat a useless flyer for a useless cause at a meaningless, pathetic convention of some sort in some street that has a strange, unoriginal, uninteresting name, along with the people in it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. @prayas but its also anticlamitic Knowing whats acctually going to happen instead of experiencing it as we go like for example if we were katie it would be much more suspensful if we didnt know whether sarah forgived her or not.

    ReplyDelete
  22. My book I'm reading is called The Sea of Monsters; the second book in the Lightning Theif triology. It's about a boy named Percy Jackson who is a demigod and the son of Poseidon. In my book, there is a girl named Annabeth. She kind of reminds me Sarah because they both are good at making plans. Also, Annabeth seems like she knows everything and Sarah kind of seems like that person too.

    ReplyDelete
  23. @ zak no he does not really get bullied he is just like the kid who does not get noticed alot

    ReplyDelete
  24. @alyssa isnt annabeth the daughter of athena just wondering because I read the first percy Jackson book but I forgot a bit about it and I also whatched the movie I personally prefer the books how about you?

    ReplyDelete
  25. @ El presidente

Yes it is the novel for the television show Pretty Little Liars.

Also ,in the book you are reading, do any of your characters do what Jake does?( Jake may have gave the tests away only because of his need to included with the "popular kids".)

    ReplyDelete
  26. @El Presidente The four teenagers are all basketball players except B.J. The one who died, was a captain of a team named Rob in the car crash. The other two that are remaining are Tyrone, and Andy.Andy is the main character of the book.Andy was the one driving the car while drunk.Because Robert drank too much,he was extremely drunk and he got his legs trapped in the dashboard. At the time of the crash,he was stuck and he got burned alive in the fire.

After the captain of the basketball team;Robert, died Andy took Robert's position in basketball.Andy is trying to recover, because he feels extremely guilty for being responsible for his death.Or so Andy believes.

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Pamela wasn't it Dan that broke up with Katie or am I getting confused? Because it's kind of confusing.

    ReplyDelete
  28. @ Alyssa

What kind of plans does your character do in the book?

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Zak I think the M16 sounds like a type of gang in his book. Like an orgination of people who are like spys. Trying to bring bad to the world. How @Usman says this billionaires son ended up getting captured and locked up in a room that was set on fire. Burned alive... that's harsh for getting the wrong guy. The terrorists found out that he was not the right person so they burn him alive. If the guy had nothing to do with the their mission then why did they not want him to talk about his capturence. He never knew anything that was going on.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @El Presidente yes Annabeth is the daughter of Athena. I haven't watched the movie but so far I like the book a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  31. @ Alyssa

Yes Rob was the one that broke up with Katie not Dan, yes it could be confusing at times.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @Pamela as of yet not really there hasn't been anyone who would be sold out that cheaply all of Jacks friends seem to be all of strong will. That is except for Jacks enemy Garret Lobeck who stole his girlfriend Garret is also a year older since he heads that group though I dont think he need to give cheat papers away to be included.

    ReplyDelete
  33. @ alsaa i also read that book wan't there a guy who helped Percy he was half goat half man i think

    ReplyDelete
  34. @Pamela since she is the daughter of Athena, she is good at making battle plans and plans on how something will work or go.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Brown Kid The writing style also resembles ''The Cheat''.There's a different perspective every chapter, but in this type of chronological order. In ''The Cheat'' it's not exactly repetitive, but it's always in the same form, unlike ''Tears of a Tiger''.

    ReplyDelete
  36. @ prayas the billionaire son was not captured the agent was he did on purpose to save him he was in the hospital because he was sniped while he was coming out of their headquarters and he actually escaped the building

    ReplyDelete
  37. @Usman yes his name is Grover and he is a stayr. Right now he is on a trip to find Pan, the leader of the stayrs. Grover in a way kind of reminds me of Rob because they are both adventurous and smart.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @pamela I dont think they broke up Its just as time elapsed they got separated and drifted away because while they were younger they were destinies friends inseprable but as they grew it grew more hairy to be friends with a guy so katie and Rob slowly drifeted apart but Katie still harbours some feelings for Rob though.

    ReplyDelete
  39. @EL Presidente

Is there a specific reason why Garret Lobeck stole Jack's girlfriend?

    ReplyDelete
  40. @Gurinder I once read a book in a style like that called Click where each chapter was written by a different author. Kind of like The Cheat but in The Cheat, each chapter is by a different person.

    ReplyDelete
  41. @El presidente yeah that's what I thought that Katie and Rob used to be friends but then they drifted apart.
So who did Dan break up with?

    ReplyDelete
  42. alysaa dan broke up with ruby

    ReplyDelete
  43. @ Alyssa

What genre is your book? And who is Athena :$ ?

    ReplyDelete
  44. @Gurinder that's also true it is like (The Cheat) the author writes in differents perspectives of different characters. It's really cool. Your Book and The Cheat both sound the same.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Not really Jacks girlfriend just seems like one of those manipulative types who will get bored of what she has and try to get what she doesnt she still flirting with jack now. And Garret just seems to hate Jack from what I'm reading so far.

    ReplyDelete
  46. @Alyssa it was Dan who broke up with Ruby. Ya I get confused too with the characters sometimes. Ya but it was Dan.

    ReplyDelete
  47. @ Pamela
i think Athena is the goddess of wisdom aand strategies

    ReplyDelete
  48. Andy reminds me of Jake because of the guilt they're going through.Jake has realized his mistake,as using cheats didn't get him any closer to being with Sarah as he planned.Andy realized that he could've saved them if he didn't drink and drive at the same time. It's like we know the risks, and we know what could happen, but we do it anyway. And then when the worst of it happens,it continues to happen the rest of the world. We've read so many stories about how drunk drivers are killed, along with pedestrians and other drivers, but we don't stop it.It keeps happening. We see students cheat, they get caught and it ruins their career and possibly the rest of their life.It keeps happening,we think we're at the pinnacle of intelligence but the vicious cycle just continues to go on and on.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @EL Presidente

Oh so this is all for revenge, i see. From what you read so far why does Garret hate Jack?

    ReplyDelete
  50. @usman yeah she is back then the greeks had gods for all types of attributes im just wondering are there any people who still follow that ancient greek religon?

    ReplyDelete
  51. @Pamela Athena is the god of wisdom and strategies I think. The genre of my book seems like science fiction.

@Prayas and Usman oh ok so Dan broke up with Ruby. It got a bit confusing there.

    ReplyDelete
  52. well i think they do because one of my uncles lives in Greece and he said they have festivals to worship them

    ReplyDelete
  53. @Gurinder I also agree Andy sounds like Jake because of the guilt they're going through. From what you wrote it sounds true. We read so many stories about how drunk drivers are killed along with pedestrians but we don't stop it. It keeps happening. We see students cheat, they get caught and it ruins their career and possibly the rest of their life. That cycle is also true, it goes on and on.

    ReplyDelete
  54. @pamela Im not sure I think ever since Jacks old girlfriend left him for Garret that seems to have struck up a bad chord among the two but Garret is a real jerk though from how he acts.

    ReplyDelete
  55. The book I'm reading is the hobbit so far boblio, gandalf and the rest of the dwarfs are traveling up a mountain to get the the lair of the dragon.

They are trying to get the gold the dragon has stolen from a bunch of people, but they got caught by trolls who were resting when biblio tried to pick pocket one of them. They managed to escape and continued on their journey.

    ReplyDelete
  56. @El Presidente I don't think people follow that religion anymore unless there are demigods out there that we don't know about...

    ReplyDelete
  57. @ brownkid it ruins their career but they can still get back on track just that it is harder to do.

    ReplyDelete
  58. @ Alyssa

Oh so did Annabeth get the powers passed on to her?

    ReplyDelete
  59. @alyssa lol that would be crazy.

@thomas I read the hobbit Its a great book Bilbo the hobbit really evovles and just wait youll be surprised to see how mature that old hobbit becomes.
Im headed on to the first installement of the lord of the rings.

    ReplyDelete
  60. The character that seems to be related to Dan is gandalf since it seems kinda strange to want to go and steal the dragons treasure since they are very deadly.

My reason is that to me it seems like Dan is trying to set them up and betray up when they were all in the office. Same goes to gandalf he hired biblio because he is a expert thief as it mentioned in one part; so what I think is gandalf earns biblio's trust then betrays him.

    ReplyDelete
  61. @Pamela yeah. Basically what a demigod is is when a god has a child with a mortal and I guess the powers just get passed on to them.

    ReplyDelete
  62. @ elpresidente what do you mean by becomes more mature? since that can be interpreted in many ways

    ReplyDelete
  63. @ zak how did switching jack's heart enhance his performance?

    ReplyDelete
  64. @El Presidente yeah I know. It's impossible. In the book it's impossible to the mortals but it's a book and anything is possible in a book.

    ReplyDelete
  65. @sharpshooter1948 Saying that a career can be recovered but it takes some work is like saying that you can succeed always if you try hard. That's an insult to all that try their hardest and still fail.To have success, you need to have the odds work for you,not against you,and you need to have a solid foundation of skills for whatever you may be reaching for as a goal.I completely disagree with that disgusting comment.

    ReplyDelete
  66. My Book-Incarceron

The character in my book which is like another character in The Cheat , is Jared. He is an tutor to one of the main characters and he is kinda like Rob, when he does something bad, he worry's way to much and thinks a lot about what happens, but he wouldn't run away like Rob.They relate because when Jared helped Claudia to get into an secret room and steal an key (which they think is to incarceron-an prison)and when the father (the warden of the prison found out , Jared got really scared and kept worrying what will happen to them

    ReplyDelete
  67. @thomas He grows from a bumbiling angry hobbit to a brave little adevnturer if that clears it up.

    ReplyDelete
  68. @ gurinder so in your book it is like a murder mystery since it is showing from many different perspective followed by the occasional news paper death report or something like that

    ReplyDelete
  69. @sharpshooter1948

Why did Gangalf steal the dragons treasure?

    ReplyDelete
  70. @sharpshooter1948 There are some people who try really hard but dont get what they want. You cant just get what you want just by trying. You need skill, brains, and other things. Trying hard cant get you everything.

    ReplyDelete
  71. @Janat Yeah he does sound like Rob. But what exactly is going on in your book? Are they trying to escape from a prison? And is Claudia the person he was turoring?

    ReplyDelete
  72. @thomas I explained it in my first post and it did not enhance his performs but it cleared up what he was cabaple of all ready doing. The heart swicth Gave him a weirlind stone a warrior stone thats what gave him the ability to do all I described before. But he was made to take a medicine by Jessamine Longbranch MD and wizard of the white rose. This medicine put down his natural ability intill Jack by mistake misses a medince take and relizes what hes capable of.

    ReplyDelete
  73. @ gurinder you kinda have to gamble on the chances so it isn't a insult in fact I'm not even saying you keep trying your best you will make it, what I'm saying is you have to get lucky. When I mentioned that they can get back it just wouldn't be the same as you planned it to be, also it would be hard just to make it that far. Next time think more in depth before calling something a disgusting comment.

    ReplyDelete
  74. @ JAN101

Did Jared or Claudia get caught for stealing the key?

    ReplyDelete
  75. @ brown kid I didn't say you have to try hard just that it is really hard trying to get back on track.

    ReplyDelete
  76. @ pamela gandalf didn't steal the treasure yet he wants to steal it. His reasons aren't really clear.

    ReplyDelete
  77. @ usman what was the eco agents motivation?

    ReplyDelete
  78. @Pamela, their father found outt that both of them and he said nothing but that he was proud that she had the courage and ability to do that and it would be useful where she is getting married where she doesn't want to

    ReplyDelete
  79. i think in the first five books of my series, Draco Malfoy is like Rob or Dan(which ever one thinks their cool). the reason is because he thinks that that since hes a pure-blood wizard, he thinks that he is a part of royalty and can get away with anything just like Myley Cyrus and Justin Bieber

    ReplyDelete
  80. @ usman how does he find out his uncle was a agent?

    ReplyDelete
  81. @Sharpshooter but there are so many people who try hard and don't make it but we don't hear about them; we only hear about the people who have suceeded. They are the people who have gotten "lucky" but then there are the others who haven't. So it is a bit of an insult to those people.

    ReplyDelete
  82. @Jedi master Dan is the one who thinks he's cool. He's the one with the nickname Dan the Man.

    ReplyDelete
  83. @ JAN101

So would you relate their father to Dan's father?

    ReplyDelete
  84. @ jedi seems like everyone hate malfoy in the books.

    ReplyDelete
  85. @sharpshooter What are you talking about for me to think more in depth? It is disgusting.I said that you need the odds to work out for you.All you said was that it'd be a little harder to recover. That's a disgusting comment because of what it means for the rest of the people who fail but try their hardest.Try commenting in depth, before telling me to think in depth. We've been taught to see the pattern that it's the odds that have to work out,not just how good you may be at something to reach a goal.

    ReplyDelete
  86. @Alyssa , yes Claudia is the person Jared is tutoring and what s happening in that the father is the warden of the prison and that the key there is 2 of them and the other main character Finn who is in the prison want s to get out and he has the same key which they can communicate with.and he asked her help to escape because he had lost his memory and ppl say he was born in the prison because the the key has the same design on it

    ReplyDelete
  87. @Jedi your reading the Harry Potter series right.... Those books are really cool..

    ReplyDelete
  88. @ alyssa I NEVER said anything about trying ahrd what I previously mentioned is that when something like taht happens and you try to get back on track it is really hard. I also mentioned that you have to get lucky that isn't an insult it is telling you of your chances.

    ReplyDelete
  89. @Jedi Dan is the one that tries acting like he might be okay with punishment, thinking that he's ''cool''.Drac Malfoy sounds like an egotistical ''jerk''.I can see the resemblance;Hard shell, but soft on the inside.

By soft, meaning that he's pathetic on the inside.By hard shell, meaning his ''swag'' or him being a braggart.

    ReplyDelete
  90. @Janat that's kind of confusing. So Finn wants to get out of the prison and asked Jared and Claudia to help him. But where does Claudia and Jared live? In the prison? And why is Jared tutoring Claudia?

    ReplyDelete
  91. @Sharpshooter oh ok. Yeah, getting back on track would be hard if not impossible. Because sometimes if you've made a mistake, you can't recover and have to scratch that plan and start with something else.

    ReplyDelete
  92. @sharpshooter Gurinder is right, you need the odds to work out for you. It's an insult to all the people that try their hardest and still fail. To have success, you need to have the odds work for you, you need solid foundation of skills for whatever you may be reaching for as a goal. You can't Gamble with your life. You can only go for the things you are into.

    ReplyDelete
  93. @ gurinder I never mentioned it's a little harder it is hard to get back, with the word hard it means you don't know if you are going to make it.
It doesn't imply that you are going to succeed you can do it just try hard enough

    ReplyDelete
  94. @Pamela, yes i would kinda because even though Claudia father told them what they did is good, Dan's father still said he wasn't proud oh his son Dan, still Claudia doesn't have a mother

    ReplyDelete
  95. @Brown Kid Ned reminds me of Jake too.Being the source of the problems.Jake started this whole troublesome ordeal after he had given the answers from last year.Ned got beer for the fishermen, which could affect their performance.

    ReplyDelete
  96. The book i am reading is currently nothing related to the characters of the book besides the mom who is freaking out.

Pro picture you put up, darth listening to iPod, ahaha.

    ReplyDelete
  97. @ brown kid when i say gamble it means try your luck that what gambling is trying your luck.

@ alyssa there was a comment I wrote where it mentioned it would change.

    ReplyDelete
  98. @Pamela, that is a very good relationship between the characters of your book Mona and Dan, they seem like they are very well known and acting "stupid" characters.

Characters like those are also known over the world they have good connection because some students in beaumonde as well not far from our society act like they don't know whats going on, but they really doo.

    ReplyDelete
  99. @sharpshooter As I quote:

    sharpshooter1948 said...

@ brownkid it ruins their career but they can still get back on track just that it is harder to do.

How does Hard even relate to the meaning of not knowing.A word like unpredictable could've been used. This is an uncertain type of situation. It's the surroundings that change all the outcomes. It completely implies that you need to be a hard worker to reach a goal.

    ReplyDelete
  100. @Alyssa, no Jared and Claudia are in the real world and only Claudia is helping because she talked to him at night while she was randomly looking at the key and Jared is tutoring Claudia, because she is home schooled and Jared lives in an tower with them.(since Claudia's father is the warden they are really rich)

    ReplyDelete
  101. @Sharpshooter what do you mean that you wrote where it would change? What would change?

    ReplyDelete
  102. @Mentally Superior in the Dark Arts of Negativity,Criticism, and Speech Giving,Artistically Overpowering,Imperial Precursor of the Entire Intergalactic Armada and beyond,Darthinder, yes, that is correct i agree with you 100% were you have made an connection of teens drinking in our society and relating it to the people getting in a car accident because of usage of alcohol.

    ReplyDelete
  103. @ Talwinder

Yes that is true. But it is different in someways. For example with teachers. They may no whats going on/ may be in the problem but they pretend like they dont know what they are talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  104. @Talwinder, why is the mom in your book freaking out??

    ReplyDelete
  105. @Janat when you say "real world" you just mean outside of the prison right because the prison isn't some place in a made up world right?

    ReplyDelete
  106. @Janet, that is very telling of the character how he freaks out just like Rob, i think Rob's characteristic is very different, because most of the guys would just take it like a man and take all the pain they deserve but Rob is different, he is scared and very nervous of his Dad, because he is old fashioned and his dad gives him the shivers.

    ReplyDelete
  107. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  108. @Pamela, teachers are a good example, they try to get in the students "business" and pretend to help us and pretend like they know what is happening, but inside they know they either don't care or they just are confused.

    ReplyDelete
  109. @Prayas yeah luck is just something we say to explain a crazy or important event. But luck is just a myth. Some people may say otherwise but that is what I think.

  110. The book im reading is Flight 29 down and in this book student are on a trip to an island when they crash and the piolet does not know where they are.So the poilet decides to split up 1 grioup to stay with the plane and the other to search through the jungle.

I dont think that any of the characters in my book are like any of the characters in the bok cheat because all of the characters are truthful and they trust everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  111. @Alyssa, yes i mean outside the prison because no one knows where the prison is other then the warden

    ReplyDelete
  112. @Janet, the mom in my book is freaking out because her son got lost in the park and she couldn't find him, but then she went to the lost and found and found her son.

    ReplyDelete
  113. @Talwinder yes i agree Rob's dad is very old fashioned and strict and i think that is why he is soo freaked out

    ReplyDelete
  114. The character in my book that relates to Dan's mom is Ronnie's mom because they were both freaking out. In the cheat Dan's mother was freaking out because he cheated , and in the book I am reading Ronnie's mother was freaking out because Ronnie got framed of shoplifting , and her mom thinks she actually did it when she didn't.

    ReplyDelete
  115. @Stephanie, there used to be a t.v show with the same moral, they had to split off and live on there self until they could get rescued trying there best to get signals and call people e.g calling for S.O.S and surviving themselves looking for food, water and making their own shelter.

    ReplyDelete
  116. @ Stephanie

How far are you in the book? Did any of the groups find anything helpful?

    ReplyDelete
  117. @Janat but don't the people inside the prison know where it is? Because they didn't just appear there by magic.

    ReplyDelete
  118. @Janet, Rob's dad isn't panicking like Rob's mom, Rob's dad just wants to have a chat with him, and just make things clear and get things off his chest.

    ReplyDelete
  119. @Stephanie , is there more people then the pilot and student on the island ?

    ReplyDelete
  120. @Niida, did Ronnie run away or do something to similar to what Rob did ..?

    ReplyDelete
  121. @Janat that does sound like rob in cheat but who do you think claudia is because she still helped jared steal the key.Is jared trying to help someone escape incarceron or is he trying to escape.

    ReplyDelete
  122. @Talwinder does the Mom have a name? And why did her son get lost in the park?

    ReplyDelete
  123. @Stephanie , so everyy one is truthful , thats not what really happens in reality and i think its unfair that some ppl can saty in the plane safe , when others are out in the wild junjle and where they can hurt...and are their only students or even with teachers and airhosts

    ReplyDelete
  124. @Talwinder , Ronnie didn't run away , but she was accused of shoplifting because it happened before when she lived in New York.

    ReplyDelete
  125. @ Nida

Was there a specific reason why Ronnie was shoplifting?

    ReplyDelete
  126. @ alyssa what I mean by change is that you might get what you wanted but it is not what you expected.

@ gurinder you mentioned the word hard it also means taking a chance; chances doesn't always mean you are going to make it but you got some where. It doesn't relate to the meaning of not knowing, it is related because when things are hard you wouldn't know the outcome just like today's game in basketball it was a hard game.

    ReplyDelete
  127. @Niida well there a plane full of students and the pilot that was flying the plane but that all they said so far.But if the pilot find people on the island then there saves but so far its just a bunch of students and the pilot.

    ReplyDelete
  128. @ Stephanie, noo its the other way around, Claudia is an main character and Jared Helped her and she thinks that the prison in an perfect world but its horrible as Finn described it.and Jared and Claudia are outside the prison

    ReplyDelete
  129. @sharpshooter1948 - It completely implies that you need to be a hard worker to reach a goal. Working hard can't get you everything. Like @Gurinder and I said before you need skills and knowledge for the thing your going for. Working hard could get you smarter but not enough to get what you want.

    ReplyDelete
  130. @Talwinder , what book are you reading at the moment ?

    ReplyDelete
  131. @Sharpshooter but what about the people who don't get what they want? It's still kind of an insult to them.

    ReplyDelete
  132. @Pamela , Ronnie wasn't shoplifting , she was framed of shoplifting because of the drama that was happening with another girl.

    ReplyDelete
  133. @Alyssa, the mom was named the mom in the book? Her son was only 4 years old and he was playing on the slide and park and the mom left him alone for a minute because she had to make a call and he disappeared.

    ReplyDelete
  134. @Alyssa, no they dont know, people say that it is buried way beneath the ground and they arent treated like prisoners either, each type of people have an area and Finn is apart of the one where is there lots of blood and greed and he and his two friends are trying to escape

    ReplyDelete
  135. @Stephanie , the book seems to be about survival. How's the book so far ?

    ReplyDelete
  136. @Stephanie There's no characters that are creating problems, talking about how flawed they are, trying to be tough to be cool or just to be emotionally comforting,no characters with a terrible vocabulary and no characters that overreact to a situation?

I'd figure there'd be at least one of the characters like that.Maybe once they set up a camp in the jungle or some type of resting place, the characters will evolve into more colourful characters, and then you might find one that resembles a person from ''The Cheat''

    ReplyDelete
  137. @Talwinder, so whats your book on??like whats happening in the book??and about Robs dad he probably thinks hiss son is going to come back

    ReplyDelete
  138. @ brown kid it could imply that I said the word harder so that means you have to get the skills, whats strange is that when they say you have to work hard first thing that come into my mind is you are going to need the things like "skills" and "knowledge" so it can be interpreted differently

    ReplyDelete
  139. @ Nida

What kind of drama was happening? Was it a serious problem and how did Ronnie feel about it?

    ReplyDelete
  140. @Janat the only people that were on the plane where the students and the teacher it was a small plane like the ones that go to small islands so there were no arihost all the teachers where on the other plane.

Yes so far they seem to be all truthful and i agree in reality that does not happen.but one person that would be the closet to being like on of the characters in cheat is eric he the kind of person that does not offer help and would take a short cut just to get out of doing work so just like dheating instead of studying.

    ReplyDelete
  141. @Pamela , Was it Dan or Rob that broke up with someone ? And didn't one of them break up with Ruby not Katie ? Im confused .. lol.

    ReplyDelete
  142. @ alyssa when you say they weren't successful I think they didn't get what they wanted so the change part is basically you ended up with something different

    ReplyDelete
  143. @Janat i see so jared and claudia are tying to help finn escape..right?
Does it say what finn did to get into the prision.

    ReplyDelete
  144. @Pamelaa , the drama that was happening was between Marcus and Ronnie .. but Blaze was somehow involved. So what had happened was Marcus and Blaze are dating , but along the way Marcus started liking Ronnie and he tried to ask Ronnie out but Ronnie rejected him , and Blaze thought Ronnie liked Marcus too , therefore she tried to get Ronnie in trouble by putting stuff in her bag to make it look like she was shoplifting. I think Ronnie felt betrayed because she thought she could really trust Blaze and she thought Blaze was exactly like her but it turned out they weren't friends who basically most of the book , but I think they might become friends again in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  145. @ Nida

I honestly dont know -.- , read the other blog and find out! :)

    ReplyDelete
  146. @ nida what book are you reating and what happened to make the mom freak out?

    ReplyDelete
  147. @Talwinder oh ok but the mom found her son again right? And what is your book about exactly because I'm not really understanding. And what is it called?

    ReplyDelete
  148. @sharpshooter1948 - What you said is wrong...

"When things are hard you wouldn't know the outcome just like today's game in basketball it was a hard game"

Actully that's wrong because in todays game everyone knew that the Triple Celtics were going to win but because they had players that had Skill and Knowledge in Basketball. The other team would be just there to give a match to the Triple Celtics. I got to agree the beginning of the game Triple Celtics were losing but the they came back and won. The other team knew the outcome.

    ReplyDelete
  149. @Niida yes the book is about survival and so far they are trying to make a fire because one of the students went to look for a good camp site and came into count with leeches and the only way to get them off is to 1 let them drink your blood till they drop off or 2 burn them off. They are tryign to make a fire without matches but so far no luck...

    ReplyDelete
  150. @Pamelaa , Yeah , I think I will. The book is sort of confusing , lol.

    ReplyDelete
  151. @ prayas you guys knew we were going to win to me I didn't know if we were going to or not. The team we faced today also had the skills and the knowledge

    ReplyDelete
  152. @SharpShooter How difficult something is,is insignificant.Calling something difficult, meaning that you wouldn't know what the outcome is irrelevant.

We're talking about Andy's career in the book.By having an experience like a friend dying,it can affect a student's performance greatly because of the emotions.Because of these emotions, people are slowed down.

If the loss were to affect him so greatly that it would throw him off course all together,he MIGHT recover. And that's the thing, the word ''MIGHT''.If Andy can't realize or know what his dead friend wanted him to do,or he can't realize something he'll dedicate his life to,he may live the rest of his life in misery.
It's not about the difficulty,it's about the people themselves.Everyone that's been through a great loss is different. It's that the chance of Andy realizing and the surroundings that will affect the outcomes (meaning if his psychologist helps Andy realize and make him go on in his life) that's important.

    ReplyDelete
  153. @Stephanie,ohh soo only one student is like that, wait how many students where on the plane, and cant the pilot just call the station or does the plane not work??

    ReplyDelete
  154. @Sharpshooter , the book I am reading is called The Last Song. What made the mom freak out was she thought Ronnie was shoplifting but Ronnie got accused of shoplifting , she actually wasn't , but one of her "friends" slipped something into her bad to make it seem like she was shoplifting.

    ReplyDelete
  155. @ gurinder i mentioned the word might in one part of my comments

    ReplyDelete
  156. @Sharpshooter well if they didn't suceed then obviously they didn't get what they wanted to acheive. And the "change" could be a whole new career path because the other one didn't work out but that can sometimes be hard if you worked so hard for something, didn't get it and had to do something else. I just don't think it's right to say "If you work hard, you'll get what you want" and "It's all about luck" because it's not really about that. It's about your skills and knowledge.

    ReplyDelete
  157. @Stephanie , your book seems very interesting and informational. Which way do you think the leaches are going to come off , wait until they drop off themselves or burn them ?

    ReplyDelete
  158. @Gurinder well there is one character which i say is the closters in my book that resempbles the cheat and that is eric he the kind of person who like to take the easy path so cheating would be the easy path in studying but also the wrong path.In the book everyone is trying to make a fire with out matches so there rubbing 2 stickes together everyone that does not have a job is helping but eric is just watching and what i think is going to happen is that once they make a fire(if the do)eric is going to be the first one to be sitting beside it.

    ReplyDelete
  159. @Stephanie, Jared doesnt know tht Finn wants to escape ,, only Claudia does and Finn lost his memory and found himself in an room and then walked on forever until he found this place and found an oath brother Keiro so people say he was born by the prison itself and noo one can enter the prison or go out that what they say

    ReplyDelete
  160. @ Nida

Why do you think they will become friends in the end. So basically they are fighting over a boy, but in this case Ronnie does not like the boy. How did Ronnie feel when she put the things in her bad and got in trouble for it?

    ReplyDelete
  161. @ alyssa that wasn't what i was implying that was what i was trying to explain.
    sharpshooter1948 said...

@ alyssa what I mean by change is that you might get what you wanted but it is not what you expected.

    ReplyDelete
  162. @Niida i think there going to burn them but if they dont get the fire made in time then there just going to fall off so either way there coming off but i think there going to burn them off first before they drink alot of her blood.

    ReplyDelete
  163. @Pamelaa , I think they might become friends in the end because Marcus is an extremely horrible boyfriend and if Blaze listens to Ronnie she might break up with him and start talking to Ronnie again and try to be a better friend , I don't know if that is going to happen .. just a prediction. As I said before , I think Ronnie feels betrayed because she thought she could trust Blaze. And I agree , Blaze is fighting for Marcus even if Ronnie doesn't want to date Marcus. What would you do if you were put in the situation Ronnie was ?

    ReplyDelete
  164. @El Presidente For the Character MD Jessamine, does she have a goal in mind? Or is she just some shallow, evil minded creature that's trying to win,and only win.

    ReplyDelete
  165. i am reading a book called, Vancouver Nightmare
which is about a boy named Tom, who is at his grandparents for his summer vacation; with his friend,Dietmar who is hilarious, always making jokes[that changes the scene].
there is a place near where he lives and it's where a lot of criminals happen,Skid Road. And it's said in the book that, Tom would like to be a detective, and he had learn everything to be one but he is not always right. He is interested to find more about that place.
He finds that the place is all criminal stuff happen; this time it was kids getting mixed up with drugs and there are gangs that get the kids mix up.
So he is planning to help the police find out this gangs and stop this mess. But, he in for the surprise, he meets a person who is a like a head of the gang.So he joins the gang and plays all interested, he planes to get all the information and give it to the police.

    ReplyDelete
  166. @Stephanie , I agree .. but I think the character who has leaches on them is going to get very ill if the leaches suck a lot of blood.

    ReplyDelete
  167. @Heli , is there a character in your book that relates to a character in The Cheat ?

    ReplyDelete
  168. @Janat they didnt say how many students where on the plane but there about 20 students. No the planes compass gps system and raido are not working so they have to find another way to get help.

    ReplyDelete
  169. Ya @Niida I also agree the character who has leaches on them is going to get very ill if the leaches suck a lot of blood. Maybe might go to the hospital.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Well I would talk to Blaze. If she betrayed me I would obviously ask why. I trusted her and she did that to me just because of Marcus. I would also tell her that i do not like Marcus and that she should not be mad at me for any reason. Why is blaze getting mad at ronnie if marcus likes her ?

    ReplyDelete
  171. @Heli, did tom join the gang or someone else and i think but betraying them don't you think he would end up in an bad situation when the gang finds out that he was the one who told the police on them so wouldn't they want to get back??

    ReplyDelete
  172. @Heli , is it a very dangerous gang ? and do you think Tom is in a lot of trouble if the gang finds out hes planning on gives their information to the police ?

    ReplyDelete
  173. @Sharpshooter oh ok but if you had a dream and couldn't accomplish it and then had to go do something else, I don't know, it just seems, like an insult.

    ReplyDelete
  174. @sharpshooter That comment is useless, and the idea that it would be hard to recover and rebuild a career has no meaning. It's obvious that it would be difficult.

@Stephanie You know how 9/11 brought out the best in people, meaning that people started helping eachother and everyone was like a family,is it going to be like this in the end of the story? The situation of being stranded on an island,is that going to make things go bad to worse as in people will start to hate each other? Is there a leader appointed yet,so they can try to survive?

    ReplyDelete
  175. @ heli so he was going under cover but did they believe them like how did he get him to let him in?

    ReplyDelete
  176. @ Heli

So in this case Tom is playing different roles? Does he fit in with the gang. If so if you were a gang member would you believe that he is an actuall gang member and not pretending?

    ReplyDelete
  177. @ gurinder that is what i said you just accepted my comment so you just realized the obvious when you were just merely prolonging it with out even reading it carefully and thinking about it a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  178. @Pamelaa , Ronnie isn't talking to Blaze because when someone hurts Ronnie she just leaves it alone and moves on she doesn't talk to that person anymore. Blaze is getting mad at Ronnie because Marcus tried to hit on Ronnie and Blaze thought Ronnie liked it and also Blaze didn't listen to what Ronnie had to say so she got the whole situation wrong and she thinks that Marcus is the good guy even tho he's just dating Blaze to pass the time.

    ReplyDelete
  179. @Heli Tom seems to be like a rat (the term used for people in jail that are betraying fellow inmates). In all the gang movies, there's always one guy that betrays the whole group of thieves, takes all the money and runs away with it.If Tom is easily manipulated,or is envious of someone, what if he takes the advantage to steal something from the gang and run away with it?

    ReplyDelete
  180. @Stephanie, i don't really think they would get a lot of help if half the people are in side of the plane doing nothing i guess, and maybe they can make an fire or something or an signal and maybe another plane or helicopter goes by

    ReplyDelete
  181. well,in my book there isn't a character who would be similar to a character in the cheat; but tom he is like the main character in the book and he meets the head of the gang his name is... well, spider. Which is not his real name, but he likes to be called this way and he acts like "dan the man" a bit because he acts thought he doesn't care for anything and things that happen don't really matter to him even if it's related to him.

    ReplyDelete
  182. @Heli your book is a mystery book right. It sound very interseting. His name is Tom Austen right... Ya he has a nose for adventure. He is investigating full throttle in Murder on the Canadian and mysterious dirty dealings keep him up nights in Vancouver Nightmare. I read that book a little. It sounded really interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  183. @Brown Kid , they can't go to an hospital because they're stranded on an island .. lol.

    ReplyDelete
  184. @ heli so he is kinda like ruby since she doesn't seem to care much about others.

    ReplyDelete
  185. @ nida how did they end up on the island? were they there in the beginning?

    ReplyDelete
  186. @ janat
ya, that's what i thought too, but it seems like tom doesn't really care much about getting in trouble later. He seems like a person who would only think about this moment and not about the past or what's going to happen next.Actually the book, doesn't really mention a lot about this.

    ReplyDelete
  187. @sharpshooter Don't tell me that I don't think carefully or much about things. If I chose to continue the argument to show that my post is correct,by sharing the idea that your comment implies the idea of guaranteed success, how is that not thinking carefully.
If it's obvious, you wouldn't of had even needed to comment about it.If it's obvious, why didn't you say so in the first place?
Continuing this debate that you can't even understand the counter argument to is meaningless.

  188. WOWW Mr. Cheney, 2 of your most favorite things in one, if only darth was wearing a yankees jersey :P

I have a character, in my book, his name is Umbo. If you remember he is the boys brother that went over the waterfall. Umbo is a lot a like to Ruby. Ruby sounds like she sends out a very unintelligent, or for said "dumb" vibe to when she speaks, for example and I think quote the sentence; "like how like I told Ryan that how like Dan like got caught like for cheating, like on an geometry or geography exam, something like that". Umbo doesn't exactly talk like that, but he gives out the same, uncomfortable vibe. I think he isn't very smart, like Ruby, because he says some rather stupid stuff, as to what Ruby would say. Umbo has the power to slow down time without anyone noticing, like how Rigg (main character) can see paths and where people have been. So they were both on a boat to this town, and they were really board, and Umbo is a very restless character, Picture him as the person in the back of a car saying "are we there yet"over and over again. Him and Rigg figured out how to combine there powers, of how when Umbo slows down time, he doesn't slow Rigg and the paths Rigg sees turn in to the actual people that once walked on that very path maybe 500 years back, and Rigg can actually touch them and they would feel it. So they were board on the boat, and then Umbo said, "Why dont we use our powers to push some random guy into the river, 500 years ago" Then Rigg comments, that would be murder, wouldn't it? It just goes to show how dumb Umbo is.

I dont know why, but when ever i picture Umbo in the book I see Usman :P But without all that uneducated stuff.

  189. @Mentally Superior in the Dark Arts of Negativity,Criticism, and Speech Giving,Artistically Overpowering,Imperial Precursor of the Entire Intergalactic Armada and beyond,Darthinder , I agree .. Stephanies book is a lot like the 9/11 attack because when that happened everyone learned how to help each other and the same seems to be happening in Stephanies book.

    ReplyDelete
  190. Heli, that does kinda sound like Dan , about not caring about things but he kinda does like how he wanted to go to Ruby's sisters engagement party event thought it was for himself to make back with Riby

    ReplyDelete
  191. @ heli then why dont write about Spider. you say that no one you can relate from your book to the cheat, yet Spider sounds a lot like dan.

    ReplyDelete
  192. @ gurinder it was pretty straight forward and i wanted to make a comment about it because i felt that it would have been valid. I have taken in the consideration of the counter argument so I have backed it up pretty well.

    ReplyDelete
  193. @Heli Ruby acts like she doesn't care about Dan because she wants to be mad at him.On the inside,Ruby is still in love with Dan and she wants to be with him.Because of this cheating, their relationship is a bit agitated, but it's still there.Ruby is alone, and on the inside she feels like she's alone on an island because she can't be with Dan.She has that desire, that need for company from someone else that she's deprived of right now.To take out the anger of isolation, she makes herself think she hates him.

    But...That's just my theory.

    ReplyDelete
  194. @Ben-G , what book are you reading ?

    ReplyDelete
  195. @Ben-\\$.:.:.:.>>>~~\(G)/~~<<<.:.:.:.$//- , Umbo does sound alot like Ruby except Ruby just talks like that bit she does sound smart like how she remebers like all the times of what had happened.and when Rigg uses hie powers can the people he touches see him or not??

    ReplyDelete
  196. @ beng he does act like ruby but I don't get how him being dumb is related to ruby being ignorant
