  1. i am reading beautiful darkness and it is really interesting.there is an caster girl(casters are like a witch oor wizard) except, in lena's case (the girl), but her family was cursed, so lena doesnt get to decidw which one shes going dark and acts like it (dark= evil and golden eyes light= green eyes and good) so lena has runnaway and Ethan , liv and link are seaching for her and between lena and ehtan many secert s are hidden and ethan is only an mortal and there is some connection between them two and their familes

but now in my book, lena has to chose ad if she go'd dark , all the light people will die and if she choses light, all the dark ones will die.but she is close to most them either dark or light and she has to make a choice

  2. i am reading the book 39 clues the final book the tenth one into the gauntlet. I have just finished the book so this is a spoiler if you haven't read it or want to read it. There was no ultimate power to rule the world all there was, was the serum it was originally suppose to help cure the plague. The whole point of the clue hunt was to unite the family back together and end the feud.

    ReplyDelete
  3. light and dark represent races? what a choice to have to make...one people over another.

    ReplyDelete
  4. family feuds? Do they hunt throughout history and time for clues...back to the future style?

  5. I am reading a book called FLIGHT 29 DOWM. The book is based on a hit television series. The book talks about 10 students that go to a school just outside of Los Angeles. The are headed towards a beautiful island for a eco tour. When they are up in the air about a quater into the journey the enters an unsuspected storm (the storm was not on any of the forcasts). One of the characters ask the pliot(Mr. Rob Russel)if they are going to be alright.Mr.Russel says(relax kid,the plane has four engines, what can go wrong?!!).So the kid is like(ok). At that moment outside lightning started to sruck areas around the plane. It put the left wing on fire damaging two of the engines. The pliot started to lose control of the plane just a little. After a while the plane started to shake. The kids did not even notice, they were fooling aronud. It started to shake more and more and more. One of the kids that was standing up felt like he was floating weightlessly in the air. That could only mean one thing...the were falling. Will all of them survive? Or will all of them perish? We will just have to wait and see what happens.

  7. @mr cheney i had red the book before janat so i know what happened and light or dark can mean many things like what you said raisim but in this case it represents good(light) and evil(bad)

  8. wow, this doesn't help my fear of flying!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Stephanie this seems complicated, so his History teacher is a former cop who investigated his moms death???

    that would be erie

    ReplyDelete
  10. yes his histroy teacher was a former cop that had investegated his moms death but in the book it didnt say when his mom died but mike didnt know that he was a cop until his uncle billy told him.

    ReplyDelete
  11. yes that would be eire cuz in the book he knows so much about him and he didntknow until he was told

  12. Starting Late on blogging today...Video Games are time consuming

On Topic:During the iRead period,I had completed re-reading the First of 13 books in a series called A Series Of Unfortunate Events.Olaf was the guardian of the children Violet Klaus and Sunny that had inherited the fortune of their family. They are not of age,but Olaf had used a play (acting) to disguise a marriage, the judge was tricked into acting as a judge in the play.Olaf marries Violet (she's underage but she has permission from the guardian, which is Olaf).Violet finds a loophole, which was she wasn't using her right arm when signing the stage prop that was actually a binding contract of marriage. It leads to Olaf being caught in front of the whole audience, the lights are killed, and he drives off with his theater troupe that is a band of thieves...

How elaborate theft is...How much intelligence, research and how many factors have to come in to play for stealing something is truly amazing. The thieves themselves are geniuses, too bad they get caught soon enough.

I was Reading (Life of Pi) After the sinking of a cargo ship, a single solitary lifeboat remains on the surface of the wild. The crew of the surviving vessel consists of a hyena, an orang-utan, a zebra with a broken leg, a 450 pound Royal Bengal Tiger, and Pi Patel, a 16 year old boy who is also vegetarian. Stranded in the middle of the Indian Ocean Pi Patel has to survive with these extraordinary wild animals.(True Story)
The Picture beside my name is the Royal Bengal Tiger

  14. @Jan101 The caster...Reminds me about a few final fantasy games, well Final Fantasy 7 (its a video game!)About how a swordsman has to decide over his inner self, dark powers or light to save the world...The races, are the dark fiends and the light are humans? Is there a multitude of fictional races like elves and orks in the book?

  15. The book i am reading is called Unbeliveable ( the same book i was reading before) In these chapters it talks about different people( example- chapter 1 is about Hannah, chapter 4 is about Emily) so the first chapter i read in class was about Emily. Emily had to move to Iowa because A sent her mother and father a text telling them that Emily was seeing Maya( the girlfriend). Emily's parents did not appreciate her being a lesbian, so they sent her to Emily's strict aunts & uncles house. Emily is having a very hard time there. She recieved a text from Maya and right when she was about to reply, her aunt came and took it. There was a strict rule where no cellphones were aloud in the house. So thats basically what i read.

  16. @ Gurinder
Your book sounds very interesting. What genre is it? And does this book take place in a specific country?

    ReplyDelete
  17. @Mr Cheney and @Abdullahi Speaking of flying...This could relate to the World Trade Center actually! The twin towers were constructed so if a plane actually hit the tower, the tower could withstand the force and remain intact. In the book Flight 29 Down...Mr. Bob Russel said that the plane could stay flying,''Dont worry kid''.It had 4 engines, but the plane still fell down!

    ReplyDelete
  18. even in thievery some are good, useless, and amazing. Being a thief doesn't mean you will be any good at it.

  19. A vegetarian?! is this on purpose or just a coincidence?

  20. Using the information from the previous post, and the fact that every Human generation thinks that they are at the pinnacle,at the highest,at the maximum of their knowledge of everything around them and their own existence possible...Could I say that humans will never be able to tell their fate and nothing is actually completely preventable...That everything is possible?

For all we know, this whole universe could just be a thought of someone's...

  21. @ Abdullahi
Does the show on t.v and the book seem the same?
Because some people say the book is better than the movie/show. What do you think ?

    ReplyDelete
  22. @Gurinder that game your talking about I have played it and I totaly agree with you it is just like the book @Jan101 was reading. How the swordsman has to choose between evil(Dark) or good(Light) Light to save the world or Dark for power and outer control.

    ReplyDelete
  23. To they think sending Emily to her uncles will cure her from being a lesbian, like it is a disease? Thats sounds like a powerful novel.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @Pamela The book...I'd say it's more of a miserable mystery genre without the detective feel to it...It follows the fictional life of 3 siblings. The author, actually says not to read the book because of how sad it is in the beginning, throughout the book and even at the back of the book in the summary!

    ReplyDelete
  25. yes, anything is possible, life is complex and very random, some things happen for a reason but many things just happen beyond our control.

    ReplyDelete
  26. My book is tittled Pathfinder its based on a boy named Rigg its a book that is more in to the future. the beginning of the book starts of with Rigg and his father were in the woods setting up traps to catch animals and sell them to people who make fur pelts out of them. Rigg has a special talent where he can see the paths of where the animals of where he has been, he can also see the paths of humans.the more never paths have a fresh green color, the little older ones are blue and the really old ones are red. Riggs father is a very snobby person who thinks he knows everything and doesn't want to hear otherwise, especially from Rigg. as they were setting traps Rigg wasn't kind of paying attention and he hears a big crash. he notices a big tree falls and Riggs father is under it. Riggs father says don't bother helping me, you are not strong enough to lift the tree. he explains what to do like picking up the pelts etc. and one thing he didn't tell Rigg. his father said go over to Nox's house (Nox almost married Riggs father) she will tell you the way to your sister and your mothers house. r
Rigg jumps and does not believe her mother was still alive, as to what his father has been telling him. as Rigg still Rigg is asking questions in panic, Riggs father says no more. thats how much ive read.

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Pamela Another thing...The author also has a part in the ending relating to romanticized endings. When the villain is powerless (not for long...seeing that he is the main enemy for the rest of the 12 books),the author cuts in and writes a message to the reader saying that you should put the book down now and believe for the rest of your life that the characters lived a happy life afterwards, and nothing bad ever happened to them.

    ReplyDelete
  28. @pamela emilys parents sounds a whole lot like riggs father in my book, so i can only picture the response that came from emilys parents about getting the big news

  29. Well @MrCheney Pi is Hindu and also believe's in christian beliefs. He is vegetarian but has to give it up to survive in the wild. Pi had to eat a sea turtle because food was hard to find, but what is amazing is he love's animals his father owns a zoo. Yet to survive he had to give up his rules and religion. He survived for 227 days after the shipwreck. This is a book that can get you thinking about how Pi survived.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @ Cheney i wish but it's more of a a clue hunt around the world but it does feature famous land sites like the pyramids

    ReplyDelete
  31. @ adam has the ability to see where animals tracks were wow! and what you said about the dad reminds me of what happened to day on were some people just post and don't respond to other post.

    ReplyDelete
  34. morals and values sometimes become secondary to basic survival. It must have been a mental challenge for him to eat meat after being a dedicated vegetarian.

    ReplyDelete
  35. World wide hunt also sounds exciting, but what a great story it would be to be a detective travelling through time to solve a crime.

  37. Pi was born a Hindu, but as the fourteen-year-old is introduced to Christianity and Islam, he starts to follow three religions. Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism. He tries to understand God through the lens of each religion and comes to recognize the benefits of each. To me in a word that describes the book best is (Undescribeable)

    ReplyDelete
  38. @ jan that sounds like an interesting book on how she has to chose between good and evil. And gurinder i have played the game before and it seems like alot of books, movies or video games use the idea of choosing between good or evil

  39. even though i wasnt here today ill still post

my book is called 'Greener Grass'

Kit is living in 1847 Ireland during the 'big famine'everything is going as life normally is until her father goes off to find work in london a few weeks or so passes and the famine hits all the villages kit gets arrested for stealing food to feed her family her mother loses a child and her father dies working to feed his family not knowing he would never get the money to feed his family.her mother cannot bear the pain of losing to people i such short time that she loses it thinking kits father is in london looking for work.Kit thinks the only way that this whole struggle for life will end is if she kills the landlord but then she is on her way to Canada for she cannot stand seeing her family suffer but will she make it if the landlords sons are right on her tail for attempting to murder their fathe?

  40. @ brown kid sounds like a book to read. is it like hatch, if you know it's about a boy, brain who ends up in a plane crash and his pilot dies and he survives in the wilderness alone. i think he was 17 who was visiting his dad.

    ReplyDelete
  41. @ abdulahi is the book the same as the or adds more info and goes more in depth with the characters since a lot of shows they cut out parts or doesn't have the same feel to it so they don't pass the time limit they have

    ReplyDelete
  42. @ rukyie (i think i spelled your name right i hope) attempting to kill the land lord in order to survive. It sounds kinda realistic on how some people will go to the extreme to survive like stealing or killing.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Plan ben-g the book your reading is similar to a book i read called between two seas its about a girl who lives with her mother the only story she ever heard of her father was that he was a sailor with blond hair and blue eyes but when her mom was dieing she told her to find her father and give him the letter in her sewing bin and then after a while she dies and there begins her journey in search of her dad(i forgot the girls name so im using her instead)

    ReplyDelete
  44. sharpshooter1948 its rukiye and yes the author wrote this book because she was inspired by the 'Great Hunger that happened in Ireland during the years of 1845-50 but the charecters are all fantasized

  45. Killing the landlord to survive? are we ok with that? and if we aren't we ok with John Brown killing slave owners?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Historical fiction is great...real life situations, with real historical people and then fictional characters to tell the story. Sort of what we want to do with our black history movie.

    ReplyDelete
  47. @Mr Cheney i would say that Kits reason for killing him is to save her family from dying while john brown killed people just because they owned a slave also she never killed him she wasnt able to

    ReplyDelete
  48. there are still 4 poll questions waiting to be answered.

2 on We All Fall Down

and 2 new ones on iRead.

great productivity tonight. and amazing to see "new leaders" dictate the conversation. Just like MLK.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @mrcheney the dad already died the branches were pinned on his chest. i say thatvas i say Riggs father says no more.
@ manime was the mother all snobby like riggs father?

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Plan B en-G nope she was kind and loving but they were poor and her mom did everything she could for her daughter but the father was really mean to her and she felt hate and scorn towards him

    ReplyDelete
  51. @ brown kid, im not a big guy for a book on religion but it really sounds interesting for a guy to have many different belifs for different religions, and it really sounds cool that his dad owns a zoo for survival, it reminds me of the shoe man vs wild where he eats all these crazy different things for survival, i would do the same

    ReplyDelete
  52. This is some heavy thinking...I'm okay with John Brown cutting up slave owners because they are trying to own human beings...But to murder a land lord in order to survive,to say if that's okay or not...

I'd be okay with it,Kit did what she had to do to keep her alive, along with her family. But then again,2 wrongs don't make a right. On the other side, that land lord had it coming. Not caring for others so they can enjoy life just means you won't be able to enjoy your's because you're not helping...

    ReplyDelete
  53. @rukiye do you think that the landlord sons would try to kill her before she tryes to kill there father if she does try to kill there father.

    ReplyDelete
  54. i am reading parvana's journey by Deborah Ellis
this book is based on a girl named parvana who had lost her dad, who died recently after a school was bombed.parvana also had change her name and dress as a boy so she can travel. because when the taliban took over they wanted girls and woman have to stay in their homes.
this takes place in Afghanistan when the war was going on i guess that it in 1980 when soviet union invaded Afghanistan and it was bombed from both sides.
now parvana has only her mother and her siblings which she didn't know if they were alive or not. but she set out to find them she passes villages which are deserted. one things she finds is a baby which she takes with her on her journey.

    ReplyDelete
  55. the book is a great read and like Gurinder said he had it coming and kit didnt kill him but john brown did murder people

@steph she tried killing him but she couldnt do it and then when she couldnt pay the bills his sons burned the house down thats why she wanted to go to Canada and then the sons came to throw her into prison for attemted murder

    ReplyDelete
  56. @mr cheney rukiye said that she was no albe to but later in the bok she might and kit does have a reason to kill the landlord but if she does kill him do you think it would be worth it

    ReplyDelete
  57. @ manga anime i guess so i dont know my book has many different thinks going on that you really have to wrap around your mind around, my book is alot like the movie avatar or wall.e the world is coming to and end, its either maybe because pollution. but for sure because the moon has shifted so close to earth that shards are falling from the moon to earth, the earth is all deformed, infact the chapter im reading is entitled "upsheer" and that nox likes aross this huge river and down the huge upsheer and they took 40 years and make this huge ship that will leave earth to aanother planet sustainable for life, its life 7 years away and i dont now what exactly is going to happen about that yet, mostly its just about rigg tring to get to nox's house now and he just keeps thinking about what his father would want him to do ab out this that. its pretty interesting

    ReplyDelete
  58. @Heli Deborah Ellis also wrote the book The Breadwinner, right? I read the first book,I never got around to reading the rest (video games are just so much more interesting!.Having a whole life changed because of hate is just terrible, and it's happening every day.

This reminds me of an Anime actually,Fullmetal Alchemist. The main character and his brother that had his soul re-attached to a suit of armor because of an alchemy accident have to set out and leave their home because of a group of extremists are on a thirst for power in the world (kind of like the Taliban). The two had to master the skill of alchemy and then set out to eliminate every being made by alchemy (Homunculus is what it's called in the story) so they could take away the power of the extremists...

    ReplyDelete
  59. @heli thye journey thaty she is going ondoes it say where she is heading other then shes looking for her mom and siblings

    ReplyDelete
  60. @ gurinder Deborah Ellis wrote many books like this including the breadwinner- i haven't read that book yet.i think you should finish reading that book if you read it carefully it kind of changes the way you look at things.(the video games can wait)

  63. Book: Foiled
    By: Jane Yolen

The book i read was called foiled.
Foiled is about a girl in grade 10 and studies at Hallowell high school and she plays a sport called fencing (basically swordfighting)
she has gone to the nationals.
she is a defender but what she deosnt know is that she is a defender of another world full of fantasy and magic.
she is in love with a boy named Avery Castle whos different and beautiful almost like he isnt real the one thing is he isnt human and no one knows that untill his real face is revealed when he stays in the dark as he becomes a troll.
she is color blind so she sees grey and white.
thats all i read so far.

    ReplyDelete
  64. @Stephanie I have a picture in my mind that the vice principal looks something like Mr McCully in Rebound...Tight red tie, suit and a deep and usually annoyed tone(and maybe thinning hair). Is the guardian Billy close to Mike? Is billy careless or is he strict? Does he influence Mike's behavior?

    ReplyDelete
  65. @ stephanie no it doesn't say that or what place she is or near but i read the book before this i know that her dad and her had set off looking for their family.who went to wed their oldest daughter. parvana had to stay back because her father was in jail[because he was a teacher].this story is long.....

  66. @heli how does the baby come in to it?is it a member of her family?

  69. the book i was reading was THE SECRET DEEPENS the series of the grim hill.

In the first book from the grim hill series (THE SECRET OF GRIM HILL)Cat Peters girl in garde 7 was just transferred to Darkmont High and is already desperate to get out,but when she hears that Grimoire (the private school nearby), is offering scholarships to the winners of a Halloween soccer match, Cat jumps at the chance. Cat was a champion at soccer at her old school. Her little sister, Sookie, and their neighbor try to tell cat not to join the team because there was something ... just not right about the old school on the hill. Cat and her friends were worried about it and are deciding about not joining the team, and their this worries are confirmed when they find out a mystery about an entire soccer team that disappeared many years ago. After cats started researching about the soccer team it lead her to find a book about ancient Celtic myth and fairy lore, and she soon realizes that there is something truly wicked at work inside the school of Grimoire. and it was the soccer team who disappeared years ago (became fairies) trying to get the whole town captured in there magic. (they did get cats little sister sookie captured). Kind of a long summary but so that you can understand what i read in book 2

In book 2 which i was reading today (THE SECRET DEEPENS)after getting over with the evil magic of fairies Cat and her friends win the soccer game and were deciding to have another game between boys vs girls since the boys were showing of. Cat's little sister sookie, after getting into magic fairies magic all now she think and reads is about magic because she got really attracted to magical things. but Cat is trying to get her little sister back the way she was before. this is what i read so far in this book 2.

  76. @gurinder billy is nothing like mike. mike is a person who is responsible and a god person in the book he helped an old woman who was a friend of his moms but his uncle billy is a person who is very lazey and does not like to work.eveb thou he is the adult he does not act like it mike acts like more of the adult.billy is careless and does not really care alot about things but if it is serious then he would get involed.

that depends i pictured the vp in a suit sitting at his desk with a deep voice but that was a good connection and he does remind me of mr mcculley rom rebound

  84. @Mr Cheney How many exceptions there are when you are caught between life and death, and your only choice is to murder...The list is endless.Could it be that you should kill when there's no choice?

Or another view is that you should never take the life of someone else, because it's the only thing some people have left? To take away the gift of being alive is forbidden, and nobody should ever have that right?

Or another view...Kill what you need to do to keep yourself alive and who you care about, disregard the safety of those who you don't care about as long as it doesn't affect you in the future?

But who actually has the time to think about all these things when they are caught in these moments? I'm sure nobody wants to actually have to decide.

There are so many topics to talk about, the list goes on and on I can't leave the computer

I must have some Typing addiction of some sort...

Actually,I was going to relate it to your hair Mr Cheney, but I don't need my chances at achieving academic excellence at stake!

On Topic:A whole topic on power is great! My thoughts on the future would be appreciated (One race would dominate the world, kill every race that isn't their own kind, and then wallow in their own anti-multiculturalism and misery

  92. @plan ben-g lol in my book the mom is already dead but impacts the book and i think whena family member dies in a book there is a reason for it to happen

    ReplyDelete
  93. @Adam could you say that death is almost used too often in writing that it doesn't affect the story as much as it really should?

I guess i'll be retiring from the blog for today now...

  94. @ Mr.cheney
Does this mean the the reason of 9/11 and hitler was because of religion ?

  97. i agree with Adam for saying that death is almost used too often in writing that now it doesn't affect the story as much as it really should. and so i think that the authors should come up with different ideas to make the story more attractive rather then having a story about someone dieing from the family and then the daughter or the son goes to travel or go look for them if they are gone missing. and i think that the most of the stories people read today had to do with someone's death in there family or someone gone missing in there family. and so i think that death and someone missing does not make the story really attractive.

  98. i see it as when writing a story there sould be some dramatic or impacting parts, its just a part were it connects you as a reader to the situation. like in we all fall down, we get all soft when those dramatic parts like when will and john were separated when the south tower collapsed and the officer kept saying that john is not coming back you get that sincer feeling which makes a book good, just the bad part is that we all k9ind off expected how the book was going to end.

  100. Domination??? we shall see oh Dark Lord Darthinder!!!

@Pamela...The reference to Hilter and 9/11 is that the terrorists and Hitler all firmly believed God or their spirtual leader was indeed on their side.

So 9/11 and WWII and not because of religion but certainly the key figures believed they were led by a greater power. Similar to John Brown

The point I wanted to articulate is that God and Religion are powerful, however that power can be misused or misguided to justify horrible acts.

  101. The book that im reading is called The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks. The part that i read today was about sea turtles. There was sea turtles that laid eggs on the beach, and there was a raccoon trying to eat them, therefore Ronnie scared the raccoon away and was sleeping next to the sea turtles every night to make sure the raccoon doesn't come back. Ronnie called the aquarium where Will volunteers for them to come to the nest and put a fence around them so the raccoon doesn't come. The people from the aquarium don't come for a long time, therefore Will started staying with the eggs too overnight, to keep Ronnie company so she doesn't feel like shes doing it alone. Will being with Ronnie and the eggs made their relationship become closer and farther, they became closer because they got to know more about each other.. they became farther because Ronnie figured out that Will was actually the one who told on Ronnie when she didn't come home for a night. In the end part of the chapter Will takes Ronnie to the aquarium where he volunteers to make it up to her and they got to see different fishes, they also went fishing after their trip to the aquarium.

Then what happens is that harry and his friends travel to the government of the wizardry world and tries to find his godfather in a curios place known as the department of mysteries, because harry had a vision of Sirius being tortured by the dark lord in the department of mysteries. That is all I have for now.

  107. The book that I am still reading is 'Walkabout" by Eric Brown. This time the main character, Suzie, along with her helpful tour guide,Ana,enter the web world to come across some of Ana's friends that play games and hang out together. They share quick pleasantries, then they head off to play some games. This whole web-world is based on codes that you punch in to go to new places, or become different things. Other then that, you move around with your full body suit on a sensory treadmill that detects your walking speed and motions. They move towards a game called "Triassic park", players must try to dodge the bronchiosaurus' and retrieve eggs to receive points that they can use in-game, and one of Ana's friends forceably want to have a go at retrieving the egg whilst the rest of them distract the massive herbivores. Then, a bronchiosauras grabs the person by the leg, and damages it, and that fails his chance to go and capture an egg. So then they make Suzie go because of her talent as a national under-17 soccer player, with lots of speed and agility. She then makes it past a bronchiosaurus by going under it, and grabs an egg, but then a leg comes straight down at her, and barely misses her, she was running as fast as she could, and finally. Ana distracted the dinosaur by making loud noises and pelting the reptile with stones. They then realize something is very wrong, and then suddenly they are out of the game, and there was utter chaos. That is all I have read up to. I thought that these two chapters were interesting because they were filled up just on a single game that didn't seem complex, of course many more things happened, but this is supposed to be a blurb, not a total re-tell. Also, the boy who was yearning for the egg, held a grudge against her because she was up in his face when she got the egg. So she is kind of a show-off, even though there wasn't any hint of it before these two chapters

  108. @ Mr. Cheney
Killing is right, and wrong, it all depends on the given circumstances. Religion biases the judgement whether killing is right or wrong, and let's say that some religion has a ruling that thieves must be prosecuted and killed, and there is a theif currently in your sight robbing an old lady's purse (ideal situation), if you were a part of this religion, you would not hesitate to carry on this ruling, but only in an ideal case. You see, modern times have different methods of prosecution toward murder, and if you justify your killings as your "religion"s word, I doubt that it would do you any good, reason being that the prosecution system is unbiased in cases of religion, they don't care what you believe in or what your motives were, they only consider your actions. So then justifying killing with religion is a fail because there is an unbiased system in North America, soon to be implemented by countries all over the world. I think that there is an unbiased system only for the fact that there is so much multiculturality that it would be hard to justify based on one belief without offending mass groups of followers of a religion. To be an ideal case based on justification by religion, you need to have prerequisites, like with a system where you cannot implement something unless it totally contradicts with your belief.

  109. Title:Halo Contact Harvest

This book is based on the hit game series HALO.And what happens is in the year i think 2056 the earth is still the same but instead of having all the continents leaders separate the UNSC(United Nations Space Command)which is used because people on earth have moved to different planets like Reach and Harvest where this book is focused on and the UNSC forms a whole army to keep the planets in peace and harmony, but theres some civilians that dont like that how other people on there planet so they create there own army and there code named innies by the UNSC.
So Staff Sergeant Avery Johnson and Staff Sergeant Byrne are sent on a mission to take out a bunch of innies that are making devices that shouldn't be used so they clear the building and then they find out a cargo just left the building and it stopped at a resteraunt then Staff Sergeant Byrne eventually barge into the store and the Innie finds out and takes a hostage and it was a kid and Johnson was suppoed to take out the Innie but didnt and the father tackled the Innie wanting his child back and then the innie blew the place up and Byrnes whole squad was killed.
Then Johnson is relocated to a i guess a training barrack and when he is unpacking Byrne comes in and he started to cry out"you got the order to take the shot now my teams dead" and Johnson replied there was a kid then Byrne tackled Johnson to the floor the they started to fight and thats where i ended off.

  110. And What Talha is saying is true killing isn't all ways right like when you're in the army fighting for you're life you're gonna have to kill the theres the whole murder thing that s just wrong because you're killing innocent people so theres a difference killing for justice and killing for injustice

  111. I Agree with Pamela I think the 9/11 was caused by religion. But the whole Hitler thing wasn't it was just about Hitler being racist because there was the whole hidden Arien race that was supposed to be the"ultimate race" and that the opposite of them were the Jewish and they were determined to bring up the Arien race again and they slaughtered many of the Jewish and in the end Hitler died and there barely any Ariens now.

  115. To kill someone...I find it terrifiying but then again if its in war you have to kill and fight for your side but on the other hand murder is just something thats plain wrong and that most religions are against it full force but people who do't understand their religions find that murder or commiting a crime at the time there doing it is the right thing (they don't think about the consequences and the misery their going to feel later on)
