Eric Walters
Hello,
We all sent letters to Eric Walters to join our Blog a few weeks ago. Lets show our results in this blog. Can people share what their responses were and also share if you have heard from Mr. Walters yet?
this is Eric Walters response: I wrote the two books for very different reasons. Rebound was a small personal experience with a boy in a wheelchair and the other was the massive event that reshaped the world – for better or worse. Keep reading!
yes i did here from eric walters but he said that he always answers his letter that he gets but he told me in my responce that he didnt have time to blog and that he trys to write more.he also told me that he didnt even have his own blog and if he did then he would join ours but in my responce he said no.
i got my response and it was ok.i asked him why he usally write on basketball, not that its bad, so he sad its his favourite sport.then he was saying how he usally replys to him emails and he isnt really a blogging persaon and doent have time to go on.then he told me about a new book he was writing called power play.
Yes Eric Walters replied to me. I asked him who inspired him to continue writing books. He said that he started writing books for his class and found out how fun it was and that they'd actually pay him! He also said that he writes because it is his way of understanding the world and bring that understand to young people. He looked at the blog and said it was very interesting but he doesn't have the time because he is always writing; whether it is answering letters or writing his new book called Power Play. He said he's just not a blogging, tweeting sort of guy.
same as janat..i got my response and i talked about how good rebound was and we all fall down.i guess he said thank you but it was short, but anyways atleast he answered.
Mr.Eric walters replied to me and this is what he said:
Hello Thamil,
Thanks for the kind words about my books. I think if sean hadn’t found david that bad things would have happened. There are lots of conspiracy theories around 9/11 – the U.s. government and George Bush did not know what was happening. I’m no big fan of President Bush – I think he was the worst President in U.S. history – but he did not know about what was going to happen.
How about the rest of you? so it seems he looked at the blog! somebody should ask Ms. Ang to jump back on the blog!!! always good to have the opinion of a great Science Teacher.
