REebound VII - how has Sean changed

51 comments:

  1. sean has become more understanding of david and how he feels also sean stoped hanging out with scott and became a much better person in general

  2. Sean has changed in many ways; but the greatest thing is he now feels David's pain and understands what he feels like

  3. Sean has become aware of how people with the same ''problem'' as David have to deal with it.I think Sean has realized that a cure might not come as David might hope, and that he should just try to make the most of it before David changes the path of englightenment to darkness and despair.

  4. sean has changed in many ways; thinking of being in david's shoes and seeing how much harder it is for him, has made him change in one way.
the next way is, since sean hasn't been hanging around with his old bud' "SCOTT", he's been getting better, and better, every day with out him, and hangin around with david and all, he's been staying out of trouble, and being good for once.Just how Mr.McCulley, wanted it to be in the begging! And now getting trustworthy, and having people on his side, he's made great things: like, making the ball team, and being asked mto be david's tourbuddy its wat had started all this in the first place.

  6. Sean changed because if david didn't come to his school then he would have been friends with scott, nick, and gavin and he would have been doing what their doing and he would have been doing the bad stuff that they do, but when david came he started being friends with him more and realized that the stuff they were doing is bad, and sean probaly didnt know anything about people in wheelchairs, and what they do in it, until david taught him. In a way sean changed as a person because he can see things from other peoples perspective now, for example sean can see from davids persepective now because he experinced being in a wheelchair

  7. sean had changed by he actually understand how other people had felt(david) inorder to be his friend

  8. sean becomes more responsible and can choose his friends wisely because when he started hanging out with david sean decided to not hang with scott because he was very mean and drugfull and drank beer.i think that sean made the right idea by making sure that he would try to change from his bad year of grade 7 and make make grade 8 a succesful year just like Henry Ford he was the creator of the ford cars now the company went bankrupt like scott lost his friend and david made a friend that is a way you can connect these two to make a a really good connection.

  9. sean has changed because he has realized that david is more than just a tough guy and that david has a lot more hardship in his life that sean didn't realize before but now he realizes this from his experiences.

  10. @thexkilla I don't think the answer is supposed to answer the question as literally how his actions have changed, but how he thinks about the world around him and David.

  11. Sean has changed by not getting into fights and he is making his own choices instead of letting Nick, scott and gavin make them for him. He is also being more accepting to what david has to face.

  14. i think sean has changed alot .. he changed as a person he is more caring and understanding of david now...

    ReplyDelete
  15. sean has changed by the he knows how david feels by the situation he is in very much like in real life on how alot of people try to understand others.

    ReplyDelete
  16. i agree with alyssa because sean realized how david really felt and that he was only doing bad things so they wouldnt bother him

    ReplyDelete
  17. vanessa i like how you connected it to henry ford but you should make your writing a bit more clear because that would make your writing better. could you explain a bit more on that connection.

  18. Sean has seen life from another perspective. He has seen life from David's perspective, which then will help him comprehend on how people feel towards people that arent "normal" and thus he understands how people react to said people. He also has somewhat understood how the medical system works in the area in which the author utilisizes. He was a bully in the start of the book, and now, hes a socially accepted person, with no conflicts.

  19. if i can make a good point so can you. and samii your right on that because his characteristics has changed and also he has made better friends that those other people{scott}that is a bad influence.

  20. Sean had changed his Outlook and his Manners, Sean has been in Davids "shoes" and been in a wheelchair for a day and see how life is from that perspective. Before David and Sean knew eachother they fought and that wasn't right because Sean didn't feel pity at all for David , but at last they are bulding there friendship towards bes friends. Yes it takes a long time for a freindship to really b e friends. The ending was really Deplorable (Shocking) because David was in a basketball league and doing two in one playing his favourite sport in a wheelchair ..

  21. his discipline has increased throughout the school year and has lowered his attempts to fight because of David

    ReplyDelete
  22. i agree with talwinder because sean changed his outlook on many things, and before david came sean probaly didnt even care about poeple in wheelchairs, and when he was in a problem he probaly didnt even think to be in the other persons shoes and to see how they feel about the situation

    ReplyDelete
  23. I agree with rukis about how Sean became more understanding because he now knows how people who have had there life change because of some incident feel now.

    ReplyDelete
  24. sean has changed because of the way he is facing david and his parents he is more mature and more resiponsible

    ReplyDelete
  25. it has also changed because of the care that is strong for David

    ReplyDelete
  26. @ blue jays
How has he become more mature and responsible?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Sean has come full circle he was shallow and mischevious even when he didnt mean it at the begining of the book ,he has become much more responsible and understanding and has garnered a real friednship with david.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I think Sean has changed in a way where he can understand David more than he could in the begining of the book, because he has been in Davids shoes like Talwinder said.

    ReplyDelete
  29. i think that sean has changed how he acts because since he became friends with David he decided not to talk to scott, nick, and gavin because they where going and taking sean on a path of faliure. And he also realized that how much trouble he use to get when he hanged out with them. but this year since he was with david he never got in trouble. he also learned that how people show pity on you when you are in the wheelchair. he also experienced how david feels when people treat him like a five years old and show pity on them. now that sean experienced all this i think sean is glad that he is not hanging out with scott, nick, and gavin. this is how i think sean changed.

  30. I don't see Sean being responsible yet,he just keeps playing basketball games and goes to school. His grades are mediocre and were once impressive when he was working with David,an enthusiastic worker about the certain subject of nerve regeneration. What will Sean be when he grows up? He can't be a basketball player,it isn't realistic. He needs to grow up and develope a career.

  31. @ bailee t so your agreeing with talwinder but what about your opinon how has sean changed

    ReplyDelete
  32. @ bailee and talwinder sean has gained a new respect for david and life. yes he has been in a wheelchair but only for a day, sean will never know the life of being in a wheelchair like how david does through being with david through all of the crazy experences he gains a new respect for david and a new respect for life by being thankful that he is healthy

    ReplyDelete
  33. i agree with hitakshee he did change the way he acts but he did get in trouble with david there when they ran into the highschoolers.

    ReplyDelete
  34. @ ultimate dragovian what does his grades and what he does like play basketball have to do with sean changing and his career

    ReplyDelete
  35. @ ben-g, your right Sean was only in the wheelchair for a day and he wont know what the experence will really be in a wheelchair like David. but yes he did gain a new respect for David

    ReplyDelete
  36. @Ben-G Yes but sean understands only like 1% of david pain hes been barely in a wheelchair for 1 day how would he understand all his pain ?

    ReplyDelete
  37. @sharpshooter

Sean's education will determine where Sean will go and what he will achieve. The book is in his perspective, but you never read anything about his career. He will have a profession that isn't respectible, and it will lead him to a labour job,or some other mediocre task for money.

    ReplyDelete
  38. i agree stephanie but i mean trouble as in school.they got in trouble with the highschoolers but that was out of the school not in the school. i mean you know how sean use to
    get in
trouble in school because in the bieging of the book sean said that he does not want to get in trouble this year because he already had enough trouble last year. i meant that by saying trouble

    ReplyDelete
  39. @talwinder the i mean that but the dramatic timse sean spends with david he learns to get a new repect for david e.g the gorge where sean finds david

    ReplyDelete
  40. ultimate dragovian do you focus on the negative in everything? because your last post says that sean will grow up to be nothing and that he should work alot harder if he wants to be someone with a career. can you think of anything positive to say in your next post?

    ReplyDelete
  41. @alyssa Anything that isn't negative is neutral or positive in outcomes.Knowing all the negatives means that you can assume the rest. And I am sure that being aware of what is around you in this world is positive.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Also Sean has lost his fear of being seen with David, unlike before at the roller rink, where he could not hold his own.

    ReplyDelete
  43. egyptian pharoh I kind of agree with you because sean was only afraid of scott seeing him with David because sean would make fun of him forbeing freinds with a "handicaped" person

    ReplyDelete
  44. @ ultimate dragovian how can u be soo sure that sean will go into a labour job. the least suspecting people have become very famous but when they were younger their actions didnt look like the outcome that was coming like dr. benjamin carson he got d's and f's in school but then he became hte worlds leading neurosyrgeon you never know whats fact intill the end

    ReplyDelete
  45. @ crippled egyptian pharoah Sean never had a fear of being with david even in a public area like how they walk in school together they went to the mall AND sean was ridding in the chair and david and scott, sean diddnt have a fear of them having a despute he only tried to keep it from happening

    ReplyDelete
  46. @ Ben-G
That was after the incident at the roller rink
